- We filmed this 48 Hour Guide a little different to usual, we're kinda fed up of having our heads in our phones whilst away and it's all too tempting to visit the spots which just look best on instagram.
So we decided to lock our phones in the hotel safe, pick up a pretty terrible map and rely on the recommendations and directions from the people we met along the way. This way, we presumed, we'd make a pretty authentic local guide to the best spots in Dublin.
This film was so much fun to make, but eating too much can sometimes have consequences! 🤢🤣

Love your new concept of going back to the old ways of travelling without the technology distraction of smart phone (except of course your video cam for vlogging). This is what a real enjoyable travel should be. Using real maps, Getting lost, Interacting with people & hearing first-hand recommendations & just enjoying the moment!
We absolutely loved it, felt great getting away from the tech - other than all Will’s camera gear 😂

Next time ye must do the wild Atlantic way and see the really beautiful side of Ireland (Cork to Donegal). I currently have travel dates booked for October to London, Edinburgh, and Dublin...and have found your series to be spot on with the information I am looking for. At the end of the video you asked for suggestions and I have a couple: 1) What are the best ways to get around in the places you visit, differences, tips, insights, etc? 2) What are some absolute things NOT to do and why? Such as social taboos/scams. As always love your show. The production quality and overall presentation is so on point, I am amazed your channel isn't larger or that you have not been picked up by a television network. Keep it up the great work.

Ideas for future videos, as per your request:
- train tour around Europe (you could do like 4 countries in a week or something)
- could be cool to see a "just cafes" episode of somewhere in Italy or France. Cafes do also serve wine!
- bike tour around a city (might need a beer helmet for that one)

It was a great Video, great editing / Great Job! / like always - a fun way to travel - maybe you can add Naples/Capri on your list after all Covid situation. It's a colorful place (a lot of really good food to taste!) that is quite cool and maybe fit enough with your video-style humor!

Nice video. When we went to Dublin, about 2 years ago, the locals told us about a speakeasy called “ Vintage Cocktail Club”. It was awesome and a 2 min walk from Temple bar.
