I disagree. Yeah the shittiest game nominated somehow won 3 awards, but honestly non of the game nominated this year were really all that recognizable, especially compared to last year. Next year though will probably be legendary. With halo infinite, elden ring, the new god of war, and possibly the new botw running, its going to be great.

Ya man my graphics card that can barely handle 60 fps on most games would definitely make that a good experience. Also even of you have a 3090 no way that would work
a lot of games that attempt to use high quality graphics often end up as very buggy messes and their art styles usually lacking. it does not matter if yo can make the world look as real as possible, it can still end up looking like complete shit, elden ring has been designed to look like an art painting an abstract world full of beautiful scenery and amazing places. there are some places in the game that are more beautiful then what quality graphics could ever hope to achieve. if they made the graphics extremely high quality the game would suffer from a lot of major frame rate issues (it already does with the leyndell capital due to how much is loaded there). and i honestly think it would ruin the games unique art style. undertale is a game that uses old pixel graphics and yet its considered to be one of the most popular games out there for its art style. the argument that better graphics is everything is getting really stale and its honestly not true. people are even making De-makes of video games because they like the old graphic styles.

Elden ring has a lot more information to build hype, also the fact that this isn’t the only channel the trailer was shown on, so these aren’t the only views, believe me this is very well deserved
Because Elden Ring has been in the making for over 2 years and FromSoft has been mostly hush about it during that time, working diligently on it instead of pumping it up until they had a real trailer and gameplay. It's also from one of the best game directors and one of the most well-respected studios that has never been compromising. Add in open-world, world-building from George, and ER making strong use of all the great traits of previous games and rolling it into a magnum opus.
Tell me again why Elden Ring got the most anticipated game award over a sequel. I can wait.
