Forbidden West was so forgetful that I forgot it was a separate game from the first one. And Ragnarok was okay, but being only okay for a God of War game is a big step down.

Ragnarok is the standard, single player experience and video game design perfected. Elden Ring redefined what an open-world RPG game should be. Ragnarok is the best of the traditional style of game design, whereas Elden Ring reshaped an entire genre for years to come.
