Funny, when I first watched these trailers back in 2019, I thought the scarlet aeonia was Radahn's hair! Like, in the second phase, he'd gain crazy hair tentacles and I thought "oh yeah, that will be fun to dodge".
The SOULS trailers are somehow misleading to strengthen the vague atmosphere of these games, BTW I will make videos soon to unveil some mysteries in souls games, I hope you like them.

The original trailers are bringing back the nostalgia hype I had when first seeing them. Now I’ve played through base game & dlc so many times I’m sad it’s over & there’s nothing new to see. Can’t wait for FS next title but I’m not sure if I’d be down for another open world game or not
I totally agree with you Elden Ring is not a normal game Its like living an experience full of magical moments, that makes us feel addicted to the game and we don't want it to end, although we want to see the end to unveil all the secrets of Elden Ring.

With Elden ring though if you go off the path you might find an entire new area but other games it’ll just be a chest or an item or maybe a mini boss but in ER when I got to deep root depths or Ainsl river and the eternal cities for the first time I was in awe. Even to this day I’m finding new corners of the map I never found before it’s insane the scope of this game

I have 400 hours in and this trailer still makes me excited lol. I'll be playing the DLC soon again for the 2nd time. What a great video.

I am a game developer using Unity and C sharp but im 16 and going indie. I am working on free, more simple games. However, my ambition when I get older is to make a game company and produce games like this. Before that, I even want to work for FromSoftware and see how they develop games. I want to be one of them, I want to contribute to games like this, and then I want to make them myself. That is my ambition. I have loved video games all my life and i'm going to continue doing so.

It was probably just to show off an armor piece that was, promotionally speaking, the face of the game. Like the Elite Knight Set for DS1, Forlorn set for DS2 (Scholar) etc etc. Though funnily enough it's Vyke who's on the main cover.

I dunno. Ive been huge fan of final fantasy. And elden ring is what i always wished a final fantasy would be. I always imagine square enix made a final fantasy like this. Theres ifrit bahamut spirit ashes. Being summoned like rennala summons her dragon. OMG that would look amazing.
That would be so cool but Final Fantasy RPG playstyle is different than Souls games, so it will be very challenging to create such games, though we really want to see game ideas like this.
I just sent an email to the makers today asking if they'd give us another Elden Ring on before the shattering of the Elden Ring so we can see how things were before the shattering and possibly get to see Marika the queen herself. If they decide to do it, you guys can thank me later. 😊

You're playing a game fool, not watching a movie. Lacks cutscenes? Literally every important boss gets one. Some characters get multiple. That's as much as you need. The game isn't there to feed you all the details like a little baby. It's always been about figuring it out, on your own or together as a community. Ffs Miyazaki literally cuts out details from the full story on purpose so we can make our own theories. There is _fun_ to be had in the _lack_ of something. How do people not get this yet, it's literally everywhere in life.

I agree with you, the trailers of Dark Souls games and Elden Ring even Bloodborne, they almost spoil their games by showing a lot of the game content.
