I am a former "professional guitarist" but since I wasn't good enough I had to find a new job. Mr. King always puts me in a better mood (and I already come from the happiest country in the world, Finland) but I just can't understand how he can play such different patterns/phrases in every song. They are never boring. May Mr. King's guitar sing for at least another 100 years.❤

I saw him and his band open for Warren Haynes at the Saenger theatre in New Orleans in 2017. Jaw is still open. He is one of those natural born musicians that are once in a generation.

OMM. I'm not a huge fan if this style of music - but not only is King beyond phenomenal - the whole band simply rocks you socks off. I like how he lets everyone shine. I imagine this man to be humble - even though he has every reason not to be. Love it!

I was there and out of the entire crowd, only two people stood, directly in front of my beautiful view of the stage. The guy and his girl were such tools. He raised his hands like he was at a Kingdom Bound festival, too. Asked him if he would consider sitting and he said, "This is a f-ing concert are you kidding me?!" He just didn't read the crowd. Wanted to follow him to the restrooms and put his head in to the urinal, hard. Was hoping one of the big corn fed country boys that were in the crowd gently put their hand on his shoulder and encouraged him to sit. He actually tried rushing the stage on two , yes two different occasions. Security had their eye on him the entire show. He would dance in the aisle preventing egress which almost got him kicked out. If you're out there guy and you read this, you clearly weren't paid enough attention as a kid and your dad ignored you because it was all about you that night. He would fist bump everyone walking up the aisle and high five the cute hippie girls. he was such a loser. And the kicker was, finally when some of the audience did stand towards the very end of the show, guess who's energy level went to zero!
Guitarists can play without looking at the fretboard. I don’t understand why people are so blown away by that. It’s muscle memory. Check out Jeff Healey, who was blind and could out-shred almost anyone.

Great musician and artist and songwriter. I recently had a chance to see MKB live and unfortunately all the reviews I read were spot on, the sound tech should be fired complete incompetence. The show was far too loud and sounded like complete mush. All “dynamics” were completely lost. Unfortunately it may be one of the worst sounding shows I’ve ever seen & I’ve been to multiples of hundreds of shows going back to the mid 70’s. Hopefully the next tour they hire the right guy. This dude wasn’t it!

The sound in the loge was not great for the first couple of songs.. Bass was overpowering, this recording sounds much better
