1:21 - I'm always surprised at how Choco is never pushed into a corner when kiting. My gameplay has definitely improved a lot from watching your clips, though when surrounded, sooner or later, I still end up dodging into something I can't get out of.
Mans prolly has the most ungodly minute map details written into his brain too lol. This is like crazy good, im not used to melee based horde games like this but Choco is mindblowing
Love me some ripper lol. Something I wanted to mention as a tip for folks wanting to use it is that the stab counts as a heavy attack, so its a good way to toughness back if you take the talent for it. Just stab a random zombie that got passed everyone and bam, free toughness lol.
I have no problem with all special/elite enemies, even hordes of them. Except for crushers. I don't know why, but i find it extremely difficult to deal with them. The way you deal with them always makes it seem so easy.
Need to watch for their overhead, can one-shot anything that isn't an Ogryn. Best thing you could do with groups of Crushers is keep your distance and try pick them off with ranged.
On the Ogryn I would say your best chance is the frag bomb. (Big Boom & the added Coherency radius could be an addition in the bottom right tree.) Light 'em up also works with the Achlys, though poorly. At least in terms of ammo consumption. Easiest way to deal with them is of course the plasma gun from the veteran, the surge staff from psykers, or a bolter on the zealot.
@@bobertastic6541 It's not a true one-shot, it just does a shitload of damage. Shout vet can tank the hit without going down as well as long as they have +toughness curios and the shout active. Zealot as well with the dmg reduction above a certain percentage of toughness talent. 10 times out of 10, psyker goes splat.
@@TripleB87 well yeah, but y’know you aren’t only fighting crushers. Chances are if there is one crusher, there’s probably also a bunch of guys with guns behind him shooting at you. Or one mission I had where there was like 10 maulers and a few crushers sprinkled in for good measure for who tf knows why
There is a weird interaction with ammo pool and 10% blessings, if you get 65% ammo roll on ripper, you will have 19 max mag, and those blessings will proc on every hit. I wonder if its worth using them instead of trying to find myself a ripper where mobility is dump stat? I really like it with inspiring barrage at least, it fills your shields instantly
Greetings from California! Thanks for the wonderful videos. I'm studying this one, and I'm wondering why your cooldown got longer at 9:49 (start watching at 9:45 to see it happen). Is this a bug? I noticed this happens many times during this video. Edit: I just noticed it bounces back up at 9:56. So weird...
I'd pump up the toughness to at least 120 to avoid taking so much chip damage. And I'd ditch 'Lynchpin' and 'Dominate' and pick up "Get Stuck In" and 'Bruiser' to get the extra Combat Ability reduction. 'Bruiser' synergizes with "Maximum Firepower" really well so that your ultimate is constantly coming off cooldown during an ambush. And if you worry about you losing the rending of 'dominate' you can put the "Can Opener" blessing on the ripper gun to apply brittleness to carapace and unyielding enemies. But yea, this looks like an interesting change of pace from the usual "Heavy Hitter" build.
Thinking about using Point-Blank Barrage, I use MK II because the recoil control, accuracy and fire rate are the most manageable for me personally, I think MK V has better DPS, but it is difficult to apply fire and bleeding to enemies at medium and long range during the ability
@@codegoodwin22Firstly, I recommend looking up and check out the Ogrynomicon for everything Ogryn in this game, which got updated recently. Mk6 ripper gun serves a varried purpose from the other two and is not bad at all. It has the lowest pellet count, which means it does more damage per projectile, and it's shots during braced fire are spread horizontally rather than in a cone. This makes it reliable in combating enemies farther away and provides a way to get headshots consistently. It arguably also has the most control while firing since it has only burst fire. MK2 and mk5 are similar to each other, but MK2 has a lot more projectiles for closer range and mk5 has less pellets but has better range and fire rate.
it's really funny to make a build. Play with it. And then, month later, see this build on someone else's video exactly with same talents. Yes rending does work junky with DoT effects. So having +15% rending on elite kills while you slamming entire pack of elites - skyrockets your damage. Altho i wouldve changed couple of talents regarding tougness replenishment and a melee weapon too. But the core of the "burn+bleed" Ripper gun ogryn is there
Top gameplay as always my man, just one thing, How did you got the Flechette blessing? I have been trying to get it for months but it still avoids me to this day and it seems that many people have the same problem. Also I read that because of it being a two tier blessing you cant physically get it in any +300 rating ripper guns that you upgrade. Am I condemned to never seeing this blessing or I just have to wait for one ripper with flechette to pop in my store??? Thanks in advance.
More than likely, I think it might be possible for Brunt to sell them, because weapons you buy from him feel like they're always a maximum of T2 blessings
Random question but does anyone else get this bug with their weapon where they’ll see their character swap for half a second but then the character won’t actually swap? I’m getting it constantly and I NEVER see ChocoB get it.
seriously the people who play this difficulty must be masochists... this is ridiculous. I don't get the enjoyment of being forced to kite nonstop as you deal with so many elites.

OH MY FUCKING GOD YOU JUST CHANGED MY WHOLE TALENT TREE
Hate how the “friendly”guardsmen there just sit and watch 3:09
"Can Opener" is wicked.
I just love this buid, thank you Shimano!
Somehow, Flechette blessing still evades me to this day. I really wish I could try it.

Your PC must be an absolute beast lol the frame rate is immaculate.
Flamer and boomer low key assisting you, killing some of the enemies lol
At 14ish minutes, that kill log from long range volley was absolutely disgusting wow
Wish I had been able to get that cosmetic when it came out.
Insane skills. Ur game runs smooth it looks like, how much fps?

I would love to try this build out, but I've spent a fortune on unlocking Flechette and I still don't have it! XD
Can anyone tell me what skin (yellow) is on the ripper? Ty.
Great video! Can I ask why you chose the Mk II?
Probably cause of rapid fire? I guess it works better with point-blank barrage ability

question how do i play solo i just recently got the game and wanna try running solo
