It does get pretty ridiculous. It is always important to pay attention to the mission modifiers. What seems like an easy Heresy mission can easily turn into a grueling crucible filled with nonstop waves of specialists.
Zealot chainaxe player who got into the game recently, and your videos have been amazing at helping me improve, thank you Chocob! I tried my frist auric maelstrom mission today and it went perfectly but we lost at the last assasination with the boss on a sliver of health :/
I respect you just for fighting with a chain axe in your current environment. Hopefully the high usage weapons will be adjusted and the chain weapons will be buffed.
Whats the best way to play Ogryn in higher difficulties? He's my favorite class but it feels really hard to do well with him unless I wanna be forced to run the Bull Butcher. I want to try other weapons with him such as the slab shield but I've had people full on leave a game bc they see me with it. Is it that bad a weapon? Searching it up the only true bad things are the passive playstyle many seem to have with it but besides that is the shield viable for damnation?
Probably shouldn't use a shield unless your only goal is to tank a daemonhost with it. As a weapon it is useless and killing stuff instead of just standing there is always better.
have you considered using/displaying your kb&m inputs in your videos i often watch your videos to try and get better and sometimes i just dont know what imputs youre doing 😅
can you explain why its not better to run an extra wound? it just seems to me that being able to be downed one more time before going gray screen is invaluable but ive noticed a lot of the people i watch dont bother with it. Thanks
I think it comes down to, when you go down your teammates struggle a lot with creating a window to get you up in time Taking stats (thoughness/HP) so that doesn't happen is more valuable then being able to be downed 1 more time
while i know you don't want another comment from another random, but i'd recommend you check out the streams this guy does. In the games, he very rarely goes down and, when he does, around 9/10 times, the game ends or its completely unsalvageable. I'd imagine because of this an extra wound is completely useless to him.
@@Joeggurnaut546 his comment made sense tho. I've got 3000 hours of verm 2 and hardly ever built meta in that game. It just seems to me an extra life would come in handy far more times than the slight increase you get to vets already small hp pool from %hp. Considering most the time you go down in darktide it's in situations where those extra few points of hp or shielding would never have saved you. But on the chance it wasn't you that managed to be the last standing; it's almost an entire hp bar you get back for free. Just for getting picked up.
Hello. To be honest, it was common in Vermintide to use a configuration that increased strength, and that is the simple reason why we are adopting it in Darktide as well. I never thought that increasing extra wounds is a bad thing. In my recent experience, I don't necessarily think that extra wounds are necessary when there is a large margin of fitness like Ogryn and Zealot, but I have come to think that Veteran and Psyker might want to add even one extra wound. Because, of course, when they are downed, but mainly in battles such as Beast of Nurgle, they frequently become instantly dead due to decomposition. That can be resisted with Perks, but I think it's worth the extra wounds for characters who don't have a lot of energy to spare. But I have not tried that configuration, so I can't say for sure.
Awesome gameplay, haven't played in like 2 months this video hooked me again.
Honestly, watching your zealot gameplay is an enjoyment.
It was not until 6:30 did I confirm that ChocoB was in fact a human like the rest of us.
watching darktide gameplay like this just makes me think the game is crazy unfair with how ridiculous it gets at high difficulty.

Why exactly were yyou using that version of the shriek on psyker? Why not the fire version? Does that one have a faster cooldown?
How many times I entered a game, only to see that I needed to "recuse" the team...
Ah, darktide.
How do you dodge so well, I feel like servers hate me and if I dodge or not it's the same shit, I can see the dog go past me and suddenly he downed me

Holy shit you are an expert at clutch plays

You are a good player , but you are not a team player by yourself , you run around with minimal team support !
The game is too easy, and all classes play too similarly
I bet you are the first one that dies on maelstrom
