Send it before and I'll say it again you are definitely an inspiration I love this video I am not a musician but I will pass this along to my niece who is 10 years old and practices daily like you're saying she sight-read music and she has a metronome I practice get her to practice when she's visiting with me and I hold the sheet music up and I hold the metronome and I encouraged her to do her best I really love that you did this video God bless you and I hope you enjoy your weekend.
Thank you so much, have a great weekend as well!

Thanks Tina!
Truly great and solid advice - I am not a musician, but many of the tips/observations can be carried over into many careers - you have to be willing to put in the work and be honest with yourself 🙌💯 - keep up the great creative output!! 👏👏🙌🙌🙌
Hi Tina my name is Nat and I’m almost 15 in early November and I just wanted to say you’ve really change my life I found my passion with music and I actually play cello too 😂 and really it’s videos like these that give me a start in life so I don’t jump into a lions den clueless so I just wanted to say thank you for I inspiring me

You seem honest and cool. 👍Great video ☺
Super nice!
Tina you are a lovely consistently musician
Eres súper encantadora bravo...💪👍👏👌👆💞🍀🌞👸💟
Really great advice Tina and a good video. You are correct, you can have the "best" equipment and gear out there, but if your playing is no good ... Then you will be no good. You are a wonderful, passionate and beautiful player and person. Wish you all the success and happiness that this life can offer you :). For those new and learning the advice in here is awesome. I always work on the theory of "Life is in your own hands, If you succeed or fail, that is because of your choices not someone else's, it is better to have tried and failed, than never tried at all". Thank you for all your videos, your time and effort in making them and also for your passion in what you do. It comes across in your videos, your passion and energy and yes, it is electrifying :)
Thanks so much Greg!
Thanks, Tina :D
*#Golden* video.
Strong advice.
Skills which she possess deserves plenty of monetary compensation. Tina, please start your own something through cello, you will be damn good at the business.
Thank you Tina!!
Yoa are great! 😎🤣
Saludos cordiales desde Ecatepec estado de México.
Hi tina!! I am a real big fan of you. I also play the cello. I was so inspired by you that I bought an electric cello for me!!! I use SVC110. But I don't know how to play while standing. I am 180cm tall and the cello is way too short for me(I think 160cm). How do you stand up?? Do I have to buy a longer end pin?? Or do I have to crouch??
My 2 weakness... sight reading and metronome! 😭
@#GabrielPlaysCello. type in Piano lessons on the web sight reading and do the same for the metronome. i know, piano channel and you play cello. but his videos are very in depth, but easy to understand. and yourself, playing cello, you may find helpful tips on these two topics.
Adria Taylor thanks!
welcome
Yes Tina how do you shut out the world when you want to practice, also do you practice different styles separately or do you arrange time slots within the practice? Great videos always left in awe, will there be a Game On 2? Or Metal Cello 2, hope so
It's admittedly hard to do!! Best thing is to turn off all devices, or at least flip the phone upside down. I do practice separate styles separately- usually classical first, then the electric since the electric is a lot more forgiving in certain ways- unless you're playing something super technical and playing electric standing- in that case, the electric is harder! :D
Do you consider writing/composing time with practice (of the 8-10) hrs?
Hey!
I'm 18 will be over with my school by the end of this year! Can you please suggest me some good music colleges where I can do my skills and techniques course to become a studio musician. :)
I love that she is a RAMMSTEIN fan!!♡
nice!!!!
Practicing for instrument players, constant and improving quality musical content uploading for all creators, these are the keys and Tina is saying, a zillion dollars equipment won't guarantee good music if hardworking is not here.
Making something you really like is a good fuel for motivation, each one has to find its path to the musical speciality fitting the best with its tastes :)
Thank you so much for watching!
Nossa como Tina tá linda!😍😍😍
Absolutely very beautiful girl and great musician !!!
What’s your advice for music majors? I’m an incoming freshman at Jacobs.
I would recommend doing as much research and learning outside of academic schooling as you can- in my experience, going to USC did not prepare me in many ways to become an entrepreneur or very "business-minded" as the focus was all on classical pedagogy, history, theory, etc. These are important of course, but applying them to real life is the trick! It varies highly on what exactly you want to do with your music, but once you have a general direction or a passion for something in particular, pursue and research it hard! Hugs!
omggg your voice is sooo cute 💞😍💕
haha thank you!
I am a professional session and touring musician. I have to say, this was completely true in every way. I'm sending this video to every student I've ever had. Awesome stuff. BTW, you are stupid beautiful. Just sayin'.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that!
hey Tina, There s any particular sites that you use for musicians to get jobs ? also thank you, you're awesome
For a long time, I used to get all my gigs off Craigslist! Try googling for local musician listings also!
We miss you Tino
You practiced 8-10 hours a day?! 😳 that’s insane but amazing at the same time!
most people work 8 - 10 hours in jobs they don't like soooo...
Tina ♥️♥️♥️😍
virtuossi and original unique cellist, beautifull woman, brilliant and superior mind... i want a girl like you...
Thanks you!! Very helpful! It would be obviously very interesting to see you posting more self-development videos, related to artistic career. And that is not very common to see this :)
Great, thank you!

hey Tina^^
Thank you so much for making this video. I’m not in pursuit to be a studio musician, but everything you talked about was very helpful. I liked how up front you were. If you sound like shit, you need to practice. Haha. Looking forward to the time management video.
