if you are looking at a less expensive version of the canon adapter so that you can use your old EF lenses on your RF body, this seems to be a solid alternative. I'll continue to use it for the next while to see how it performs.

Does the adapter create vignetting through the view of the lens? Or did you do this in the editing process?? About to purchase, and want to make sure that I’m not going to purchase the adapter that isn’t completely going to be compatible with lenses
@@chandlerdawson6890 I added the vignetting. There was no vignetting caused by the adapter.
Appreciate the actual video footage and photos using the JJC adapter; some reviewers never get that far. Especially though, I like the mention of IS functionality. EVERYbody seems to skip over that important topic.
Glad it was helpful and thanks for the comment. Much appreciated.
Already bought the canon one with the ring. Waiting for my R6 in order to try it. Good vlog, keep up the good work.👍
Hope you enjoy it! I have that one as well. It actually came with my RP when I bought it. But needed a second one so figured id give the third party one a try.
Thank you so much for the review
You are so welcome!
Thanks for the review!
My pleasure! thanks for the comment! Always appreciated.
Very helpful review! I just purchased one on Amazon since the canon one is nearly impossible to find in Canada or U.S.
Jeffrey Samuel I’ve been using mine for some
Time. Works great.
I’m ordering the JJC adapter here soon in this upcoming week, any updates on how it’s been holding up?
Thank you and I love your video
still working great.
The test video looks very dark and has heavy vignetting , or is it just me? Or maybe it's your color grading?
That would be color grading.
Does this JJC adapter perfect fit (not wiggle) like Canon original??? I have K&F concept adapter but they have loose contact with heavy lens and often aperture F0 error because loose contact
from my experience all 3rd party adapters are a bit loose. The only one that is tight is the one directly from Canon.
Hi I Will get my R6 tomorow but the adapter was souldout so i get it the sept 15 hopefoly. So i orderd one jjc so I. can start play with the r6.
Håkan Åkerström yeah you will need something to help you start using that new camera.
Hi, how has your experience been with the JJC vs the official Canon adapter on the R6?
@@Dog0nWheels its just the same I cant see any diffrent beetwen them
Well its auto focus in video mode?
Mine is hit or miss, should I return it for a new one?
Has anyone had any problems with longitudinal chromatic aberration? I used the canon EF nifty fifty on my new R7 and it was REALLY obvious.
With this adapter I mean
@@thestudiofalklandlodge6711I noticed it earlier too on my 24 - 105 when zooming in on a crow. Seems like it’s most obvious during harsh lighting conditions.
