  • KITCHEN CLEAN AND ORGANIZE // PANTRY ORGANIZATION // ORGANIZE NEW HOUSE
Hello! Today we need to tackle our new house kitchen pantry and some extra kitchen corners and cabinets. I had to downsize my pantry from my previous house pantry , and we are going to be figuring out how to fit all my stuff into the new smaller size pantry in a pretty and organized way. Considering I have 2 small toddlers that will get to everything in there, it will be extra fun to also organize this smaller pantry in a baby-proof way!
Hope you will enjoy the video and let me know you opinions, suggestions or questions in the comment section below!

I am back to watch this for a second time! We have a beautiful corner bench in our dining room which has storage in the seats and a beautiful round table. You could do a lovely seating area in the dining room by the window amd then leave plenty of room for you to do crafting as well x x That way both of you get your wish!

Isn’t it so gratifying to see a job well done?!?
    Great video Jenia.♥️
My favourite go to foods are veggies, pasta, rice and meats, fish and chicken. With those there are hundreds of different meals I can make so that means ‘odd’ ingredients in the pantry that doesn’t match its neighbour!! 😘
I love cooking and am always trying new recipes.
My pantry is like yours and I never had space to have a stocked one. A spare bedroom downstairs was turned into my walk-in pantry/ storage, just a couple of years ago. My hubby made built in units and also open shelving. My upright freezer and my small chest freezer is now also in the room. I have since then stocked up to have a supply for 6-12 months. Even my sweet furbaby has her own cupboard! 😻
I take my basket and shop my pantry/freezers before ever venturing out to buy.
I truly enjoyed watching your video today. I am home alone and sipping a delicious coffee.
Until next time sweet Jenia 💕💕

We have always sat together at the dinner table, nothing formal just dinner together. We use this time to catch up with each other and to talk with the children about whatever was happening with them ie school, friends, etc. My children are now grown and getting married but they still love to come home to eat with us and sit around the table talking. We have had epic conversations over the years. No topic is off limits, we used this time to share our expectations, values, hopes and dreams with our children.

Great job on the real life practical pantry. I love it. You did such an awesome job. I would just let you know that Cleaning with Cambreia has a great video of how she did her pantry which is set up just like yours. She bought shelfs from I think Amazon that fit in place of the shelves that come out with an edge on them so stuff does not fall off. I could not believe how awesome it looked when she did that. She can pull them out to see what she had. Just a thought for maybe down the road if that would work out for you. BTW, we live very casually but my husband was raised that all meals were in the formal dining room. He still likes eating there but now that the kids are grown and it is just us 2 , we eat like you do with our plates at the counter or in the living room with trays. I know with kids, you do not want spills everywhere so it makes a difference. Have a great week. I would love to know how you and your hubs met and fell in love.

Easy, tasty and relatively healthy dinner is a sheet pan dinner. We like especially is mixture of Kielbasa, carrots, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, etc.
Cut everything about the same size. Place single layer and sprinkle with oil and mix to cover. Use favorite seasonings. I use salt, pepper, onion powder, poultry seasoning.
Bake at 400 for 25 minutes or until veggies are tender.
Easy to change out with chicken breasts, and green beans or asparagus or green peppers as you like.

I love that you organised the pantry practical for you and don't stress about it looking like everyone elses. And if you don't want to put child safety hooks on the pantry you can just put a hook on the wall outside and put rubberband og the dornob. I hope you understand what I mean.... I think that is much easier than the child safety hooks...
I love your videos and are looking forward to the next 🥰

Hi, my name is Misty, I live in Alabama. This is the first time watching ur video, I really enjoyed it.
My favorite meal to cook is ham, dried great northern beans, put them in the crock pot to cook all day, fried potatoes, cornbread & a sliced purple onion...yummm, yummm. It's a southern dish. For a quick meal I like to cook spaghetti & garlic toast....
I'm pretty boring when it comes to cooking, it's just my husband & I, so we either go out to eat or I throw together a quick meal, sandwiches or a snack food...
I look forward to seeing more of ur videos.

I prefer to eat at a table, but hubby likes his lap! Lol
I had a new kitchen fitted last year with a pull out larder, but it’s still not big enough. I decided to invest in new quality storage containers, a few at a time, because they are so expensive. I decant out of boxes and packets because the boxes are always bigger than the contents!

My only suggestion would be to make a food inventory list. You put everything that you usually buy, your staples, first and add the random buys at the bottom in pencil. You also note how many of each you have (I do this in pencil so I can change the count). I break mine down into categories like canned goods, pasta, etc and break them down further if necessary (rotini, spaghetti... green beans, corn...). I also do a freezer inventory. Putting items in the cabinet/freezer according to what needs to be used first also helps. I hope this helps and wasn't too confusing.

I love your videos. They're so inspiring. We have a small pantry, but my husband buys in bulk (which I hate!). I end up reorganizing it about once a month because otherwise we can't find things and then he buys more. We like to try different products, but I'm OCD about visual organization. I decant cereals, rice, etc. into plastic or glass containers. Home Goods and IKEA are my favorite sources. I love The Container Store and Bed, Bath and Beyond, but they're too expensive for my budget. For what it's worth, I only use Lazy Susan trays in the back corner where it's otherwise hard to reach. I find that they're not the best use of space when in the front, but that's just me.

Could you set up a nice sturdy shelf system downstairs for excess canned goods, etc storage? Of course check for yourself but I read that tomato products (pasta sauce, diced, paste, salsa, pizza sauce, etc) may become more scarce so it would be nice to stock up when budget allows. I agree with having up to a year supply on hand and then rotate thru it, replacing when used.

Great job on your pantry! Like you, I love putting items in large and small plastic bins, and using them as pull-out trays.
With children, i like to eat at the table together. It keeps them from wandering around with food, and keeps the mess in one area. If they would go into carpeted and upholstered areas with food, there will be crumbs, grease marks, spills, sticky messes, wrappers, etc all over. It ruins furniture and carpets, plus makes for a LOT more cleaning. Plus, eating at the table gives everyone a chance to talk. But now that it's just my husband and me, tho, we tend to eat in front of the TV.

    • @fromjeniawithlove2506
      @fromjeniawithlove2506  Год назад

Yes, I agree that eating together brings a lot of positive habits. I'd say I've got to work on snacks, the kids do walk around with fruit and I found a few bananas recently, so had to stop that. I now make more smoothies and give them in a cup instead.
Thank you for your feedback! 😊

I’ve recently discovered that my cats understand that they have to stay off the counters only if they know I’m not around for them to be caught. I placed a camera in my kitchen and just found out that when I leave the house or go to bed and my door is closed, they do climb and walk on my counters. I’m very ocd about germs and can’t believe they’ve been doing this, so you may still have a kitty who does climb when you’re not around. 😬
