Hopefully they do a better job on the bearing edges today. My 2000 model has a horrendous snare side edge. Almost all snare bed!😢 What !?! You bet. 90 degrees from the snare on each side of the drum touches on a machinist inspection table, the rest of it does not. They should've called it the All inclusive bed model and had Sealy sponsor it. You definitely need a good night's rest after trying to tune a drumhead on something like that.
