I don't think anyone who watches your videos would dump gear like that, Dan.
just a few things i want to point out to you dan .. No1 it's not your fault that other people are twats and leave a lot of mess behind them, No 2, you don't premoat cheep gear , it's affordable gear No3 good on you for keeping going out and doing what you love ( and thanks for shearing with us) No4 people come and go in our lives don't go blaming yourself for something you did or didn't do and don't try to over think it , just remember you are important and you're family is important ... live your life and love the ones that matter.. stay strong keep camping mate 💪🏻🏕👍
Abandoned tents are not limited to off-grid wild spots.
Hi, I saw a video from Scott where he told us that he'd got health problems. He said that his kidney function was down to 16% and he'd almost died. Perhaps he's not well enough at the moment to go camping.
Disgusting to leave that mess, fair play fella. I was surprised how big the Phoxx 1 is, impressive tent and great video 👍
You could always say "Other pots of noodles are available" as a get-out. I'm sure OEX will have their own brand of noodles soon!
Im so happy to have found you after a big scare it brings me back to those days of camping i wanna thank you. The MRI or Es from the USA are very good my favorite is macoroni and chilli .We get hurricanes in the south alot so 5 years ago Michael came and left noone unhurt so the National Guard was giving us full boxes of meals and lots of water, we still have a meal prep here jus in case we lose power again for a very long time.
Great video Dan, sorry to hear you lost your mates for camping. Friends come and go, but you never know they may be going through a tough time of it just now, perhaps they’ll come back around. Good to see you still getting out there, even by yourself. You’re a good, decent guy, it’s why we all watch your videos. Be blessed Danny.
couple slices bread and butter with that bad boy ,lovely
Nice one English woods man,I enjoy watching your videos, your a decent bloke, and I prefer to watch you on you're own, keep it up,😀😎😁😄
Top man and shame about those kids, but you sorting it is epic!!
Dan, just wanted to wish you a Happy Memorial day from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Post script, hope ya have some antacids
Dan, I’m just as saddened as you and many commentators, why anyone could leave their litter/tents behind.
Ps, keep up the good work, im sure i speak for a lot of people when i say we are always interested to hear your feelings & thoughts, your a salt of the earth type of bloke, genuine & honest, a breath of fresh air!
LNT absolutely!!!
Brave man touching that stuff.
I tell you something, Dan, you are a sound man.
As always, Dan, I totally enjoy your videos. Many thanks for sharing your mini adventure with us. When you said that you hear more at night when camping on your own, it's only natural, you senses kick in and you become more alert. When I was in the forces I was often sent out on my own on exercises whilst the rest of the company took up positions. This particular exercise was near a place called Strensall and I had to cross some marsh land and set up in a woodland. As I was going through the marsh's I thought I heard someone behind me, it was around 2am at the end of November early 80s and there was a low lying mist about three foot high above the ground. I stopped and could hear what I thought was footsteps following me through the Marsh. All I could hear was my heart beating. I went to ground and waited to see who or what was following me. I crouched down into the mist and waited until the sound was right at the side of me, I pointed my rifle and jumped up but there wasn't anyone there. What was happening was, every footstep I took my feet sank about 10inches into the mud, however a Marsh being so wet, each of my foot prints began filling with water at my rear and the mud at times collapsed and fell into the footprints which made it sound like I was being followed. I laugh about it now but I can tell you at the time I wasn't laughing. Its surprising just how your natural defenses kick in when your alone, more so outside a night. I thought I'd just share my little experience with you.
My mates and I were always out wild camping as teenagers but we always cleaned up. Leaving that mess is disgusting and ruins it for the majority of decent people.
Best to leave those people alone. They know it's wrong to just leave their garbage. You could get hurt telling them. Just carry out what garbage you can and feel good you helped clean up. That is my advice. Keep on making these lovely videos. Thank you for that.
