Great video Dan, Don't worry about spelling mistakes etc, at least you are trying and getting out there. As for Aliens coming down to visit us, i recon they will visit you 1st in the woods, just to see you cook a meal, ask for a taste, then bugger off home again. You hit the head lines, Aliens came to sample my curry, while camping. Then there is a selfie with you and some alien, with a beer each.

I don't always watch you videos but been watching them on and off many years don't comment often but the joy you give especially my Dad, He is almost 70 years old and he watches many of your videos and loves all of them I hope you get to 100k he cant go camping anymore due to health and age but the joy you give him is amazing he always says it's like he is sat in the tent with you so please keep them coming and may God bless you for all the joy you are giving people all around the world.

Hi Daniel, i just wanted to let you know that when i came across your channel it was only in the past year. I didn't think to look at the "oldest" videos. I didn't know what RUclips was or even how to use this phone, so this is all new to me. However... I've been sat thinking that can't only be me. So if you could maybe remind new followers/subscribers to your channel to maybe check out your old videos as well. Because they are as amazing as your new ones. Dan one of my favourite RUclipsrs because of your down to earth personality the fact your not embarrassed to admit your dyslexic is positive I’m also dyslexic and it’s nice to know your not alone
The fan uses a peltier cooler. Look up how they work. There needs to be a temperature differance for it to create electricity for the fan moter to work. Hot side from the heat source and the cool side is cooled from the fan drawing air through the top cool side of the aluminium. These peltier usits are using in small 12v fridges in opposite. They apply 12v and the cold side cools the fridge and the hot side has a fan/heatsink.

That does look proper cosy. One small improvement they could make to the stove is to replace those normal bolts with wing nuts for use with gloves and on cold days without.

You'd love to be in my area we get down to -40Fahrenheit with a windshield of -60 Fahrenheit Mid January but we get a lot of snow too we can get up to 60" of snow and then the lakes freeze over you can have 3 or 4' of ice on the lakes so you can walk across the lake if you want That's in Minnesota here

The fan has a Peltier element. That converts heat into electricity. That's driving your fan. That again cools the Peltier element, so it can produce even more energy from its hot side. A neat mechanism.

How do you stop embers going up the pipe and down onto the tent?
Can i add some mesh at the bottom of the pipe to stop this?
Just spent alot of money on a tipi tent for a hot stove and weve had the stove going in the garden but embers come out the pipe and out any idea how to stop this?
