I love watching your channel over several, you let the 1st time camper know that its not always perfect, if people watch a
" perfect camp" every time, they are going to go on one camp, experience multiple issues and never go back,
That's the difference with your channel,
New campers know what to do when its not perfect and that's to not give up,
    Just brilliant 😊

Dan ive worked out why your vids are so successful, its because you keep it simple, evryone in the last couple of years, have gone mad, filming walk always from camera, maybe a bit of fungus on a tree, cliiming mountains ,tick tock this ticktock that, maybe a beetle on a leaf, its gotten so pretentious and its actually boring, you just need to get in a local wood, have a bit of banter, keep it simple and its perfect, keep it real mate ,there's not many left like you

    👍👍👍 .. nice.
K I S S .. works every (well most 😏) time. One does not necessarily have to travel to the ends of the ends of the earth to get into the outdoors. My local forest is right next door. Five minutes from the flat complex entrance and I'm in, surrounded by woodland. Once inside, I could be anywhere.
Hot chilli 😝 .. great for clearing out the sinus 😁.
Sleep gear? Depending if a quick 'pack up /get out and go' is required or not. Cold weather .. provided the sleep gear is appropriate for the situation, I sleep warmer when 'going light'. Let the bag and liner insulation do what they are designed to do .. keep my body heat right next to me.
An enjoyable watch .. thanks and keep them coming please. Take care ..

Those overhead power lines were really interfering with the sound on your video from about 1:30 to 2:20. As soon as you walk out from under them, the sound improves. I didn't realise those things had that effect on electrical equipment. The EMF coming off them must be off the scale.

Another great video Dan ! That FireMaple Kettle is going to be my next Amazon Purchase, so cheers for that.. lol. Your certainly right when you say you can't beat the great outdoors, there is nothing like it. You can keep your city lights and nightlife, give me a woodland or campsite on a lake and I'm set . The only thing that bugs me in the UK, coming from Canada is the Stinging Nettles, they're everywhere here in Gloucestershire, everywhere!!! They😢've become so numerous that they have choked off trails and footpaths making them impossible to traverse, I've tried and the results are painful ... lol. Even the local woodlands become Nettle intrenched. I'm just wondering how you cope with it or if you have any tips, gone from shorts to long trousers and long sleeve shirts if I have to but, even that is poor defense at times. Also a friend of mine has just come down with Lyme disease, so be careful out there .. Cheers Dan .

English Dan, you should trade your car in on a new 2023 Nissan 4#4 Frontier buddy. Just write a check out with your RUclips money buddy. It’s a helluva good truck and you could haul all of your camping gear in the bed to all of your destinations buddy. It would last you for a long time to come.👍

🤔FIRE MAPLE makes a great kit. The fins maximize heat distribution. We call small tents with TWO hoops 'Telescope' tents. I have been grateful for a small tent with a proper tub floor when I camped on a well-drained site in pouring rain. SITE SELECTION: just a bit of bush and some young trees that won't injure me if they fall is enough for the sense of the outdoors.

I’m heading off tonight, temperature predicted - 3 , found a nice hopefully secluded spot , Dakota fire pit , my 2 dogs ( with nightime fleece jackets ) maybe even a tot of brandy in my coffee, for medicinal purposes only of course 👍

Hiccups again!!! You are as stubborn headed as me. It won't be that hot, then here it comes again. I love hot pepper....but it always comes with a price! You're good humoured about it. I've no use for bivvys. I feel like I'm in a zip lock baggie!

Another cracking video, the tiny tent would probably be too confined for me though so i'd opt for a low profile tarp and basic bivy for stealth. I hate being claustrophobic, it limits my choices so much .
Don't worry about what people say regarding clothing, there are no rules, my unwritten Rule No1 is be comfy and enjoy what you're doing, sod what others think

Don’t waste your time watching last man on earth. I got hooked, last series ended on a cliffhanger. Couldn’t wait til the next season to see what happens, it got cancelled and they didn’t make anymore. Now I’ll never know what happened next. Gutted 😩 got really into it!

Hiking boots are for hiking, not crossing mostly level grassy ground, I'm betting its another YT channel, hating on you in the comments because their channel has 7 subscribers, 😂😂😂

I think If i were camping in a tiny tent like that and I were a male I would at least take off my shirt . I don’t know what difference it makes what you wear on your feet to camp because to be honest I don’t look at peoples feet 🤷‍♀️. I say you do you . I wouldn’t worry about the wild wabbits but I sure would watch out for the wild deer 🦌. I’m just teasing you , you could have been very seriously hurt that night . I think you can thank those teenage boys for stirring that deer up . I’m happy you healed well .
