There are so many programs out there that lure you into downloading them only to find out you need to purchase the product before you can actually change or reset any of the user or admin passwords. This process worked seamlessly on my Lenovo Thinkpad running Windows 7 Professional. Thanks for the detailed information and download links.
do not forget to extract the files from the hiren's boot with winrar take the CD leave it at you're file where u wanna open it from and it should work.

OMG!! O_o... Man swear to god that i'v tried everything on my laptop. Tons of CDs wasted, formated my usb with a lot of programs, and was about to trow, kick myself and then i tried your method... and it actually WORKED!!!. Big thnx to Universal USB Installer and you for the tutorial man.

Thank you so much Sir Miguel. I was going to complain the firt 8 try. I press F9 instead of F2 at the beginning of the rebooting. Also remember guys to scroll and used the Kon something. It'll say the description (login without password) somthing like that. Thanks you very much Avoiderrors.

When you turn on your PC try pressing F9, then go to the first choice (i believe it was 'disk drive' something like that). Then it'll show the black screen with 'Heiren's Boot something...' scroll down to Kon (it'll show the description of it. Sorry I got so excite after 8 try I forgot all the exact name.

did you do the download of the hiren CD on a computer using the usb and then taking the usb onto another device ( laptop)?

When you insert the usb try pressing F9 instead of F2..it worked for me after 8 try of trying to figuring it out. I'll make a video reply if it still doesn't help.
is this important to have a FAT32 disk format cuz my disk is NTFS thats why im asking

I think i know what they did. Salim kochar probably made a mistake at the universal boot thingy. make sure everything. avoid errors does is the same.

Tried this on a boot camped mac and it freezes at the "bios" menu (I understand from research that Macs do not have "bios." I'm referring to the menu you get from pushing the Option/Alt Key). Once the Hiren's menu shows up I can't navigate to the option that I need. Is there a key combination to scroll down and up on the menu? Thanks!

Should I go back and derank the USB on the bio startingsystem?
I have a mac competer so i had to use zip devil to unzip the files then i just dragged it to my flash drive and it showed that it was on it. but when i went to boot my laptop from the flash drive it took me back to the log in screen. Same as before. I was able to find the flash drive on the boot list but it just took me back to the same log in screen from before. Whats going on? Can you help?
I followed your instructions and booted with the USB drive to the last screen you show in your video. Now what? I press and the system boots into the Windows User Screen, but the Admin password has not changed (still can not bypass password prompt). What am I missing?

Hi. I like your videos and it helped me so much. Recently, I accidentally deleted administrator user account on win7 and now I can't access to everything in my laptop. You know it needs administrative rights to install,uninstall,etc. It only gives me one option and that is 'NO' without the 'YES' because I deleted my admin account. i am using a standard user and I even can't create a new account because it needs permission. Help.

hi please help me! I got everything onto the flash drive so now when i plug it in into my windows 8 toshiba computer and go to the boot tab! it says usb but it doesn't have the "general flash drive" name on it. its not working. please help me.
can i ask AvoidErrors? i have downloaded Hiren's BootCD and the icon shows that it is in WinRAR archive but it includes
(.iso) on extension should i extract it or just browse it and create a bootable usb on my pen drive (means no extractions needed)
Please HELP!!! I succesfuly get into mini XP, but HBCD Menu Icon missing on desktop. Any advice how to fix it??? I was googling and i found many people have same trouble, but cant find any solutions!!!

Hi i tryed this but not doing it i downloaded it onto flash drive and when i put it in turnt it on got to the boot menu but it dont say usb flash disc that you said to put at the top is not on there and i dont no what to do i followed every thing you said but i did notice that the the ont that on yours was hirens bootcd.15.1.iso and the one that downloaded for me was the hirens bootcd.15.2.iso would this be the problem please i would be gratefull for your help

I have a Problem in my Laptop that I forgot my Admin Password and I'm currently using a Standard User and where i can Download the HirenBootcd.Iso file. When I type the net user Administrator * and enter it showed up that error 5 occured Access is Denied...
Is it OK to use other Computer when I'm using Universal USB installer?
