Man nice car! I want one of these so bad. Only could find an ‘EX’ manual transmission 😢. I want the V6. Do you think it’s worth buying the 4 cyl ex coupe?
looking at buying one of these, I have previously owned a 2013 focus ST, 15 WRX, and a E92 BMW 328I... all 6 speed manuals . was wondering if you could speak to the handling dynamics of this car. not so much worried about straightline performance .
Well I know you said you're not worried but these cars are faster than a stock WRX in a straight line! I'd say expect something in between the Focus ST and E92 in terms of handling. Little heavier than the Focus, little less "performance driving oriented" than the E92. Get some coilovers and the larger rear sway bar (I have the 20mm off the Acura TLX installed, there are many options that bolt on) and you'll be straight. I'm pretty satisfied with it, but I don't track it or anything lol.
@@accordinglyryan gotcha, thanks for the reply. that's nice to know, that wrx was FUCKING quick. though I'd say my number one priority for a car is how it handles. Being able to hit a corner on a back road at 60-70 MPH, is probably one of the most adrenaline inducing and freeing thing... if it get do that i'm all in .
@@blairoutlan6042 You may want to drive one first...if you care more about handling than speed a Civic Si may be a better fit for you. I don't think this car handles bad but you can't skirt the laws of physics
A tiny tiny bit between 20-30, but it's almost not noticeable. I lowered my car at 22K; if you have higher mileage you're more likely to have the issue. If you do you need new axles.
@@vtecdpn100 There's a small chance it'll go away after some driving, but I wouldn't count on it. The reason it happens is the CV axles wear at a certain angle over time and when you change the suspension geometry, you change that angle, and the joint itself will wobble between the old "rut" it made inside the cup and the new one. My vibration is so small I don't really care, but yeah axles aren't cheap lol
@@accordinglyryan yea I’m familiar with the cv cups having that pit that’s made over time. My s2000 had that issue but a quick spacer fixed that. If it’s a tiny vibration I guess I can get use to it. I drive a s2000 rough ride lol. Just reading everyone saying it’s a bad vibration
The previous generation had the worst of it (1st generation VCM); these aren't as bad. Regardless I would still recommend buying an S-VCM Controller to delete VCM permanently. I did this with Ktuner at about 5,000 miles and it never burned a drop of oil under my ownership.

Wish there was 4-door 6 speed manual V6 option but the coupe is sweet
There was at one time, but only for 2006-2007 lol
Man nice car! I want one of these so bad. Only could find an ‘EX’ manual transmission 😢. I want the V6. Do you think it’s worth buying the 4 cyl ex coupe?
I have that same car, I love it but obviously doesnt have the power you're looking for. Still a quick car though, nice and smooth
I had the same problem with my 2016 Honda Accord V6 Touring and I went out and got an OEM Apple power cord and I didn’t have that issue anymore.
Exactly what I did and yeah I have had way less issues since
Sitting pretty
Love the drop. Idk y but to me it seems my 17 accord sedan won't have the same look if I dropped it.
looking at buying one of these, I have previously owned a 2013 focus ST, 15 WRX, and a E92 BMW 328I... all 6 speed manuals . was wondering if you could speak to the handling dynamics of this car. not so much worried about straightline performance .
Blair look for a 6 speed V6 there not the fastest car out there but it holds its own
Love this car
Me too lol
I like the wheels. Chrome delete would be very cool. I did a chrome delete on my Toyota Tacoma and it looks 10x better.
Are those wheels 18s or 19s?
19s
Magnificent accord very class car 👍😘😎🔝
Do you think you will ever get a intake for the accord because J35Y1 + Intake = best thing ever and louder VTEC crossover
Nah, I honestly don't really care for the induction sound of these motors
i see you painted your engine cover red like I did....you shoulda masked off the letters!! looks good tho!
Yeah we did it kinda rushed lol. It's PlastiDip anyways so it could be peeled off. Thanks!
Are those tires good? You grip off a dig my current set are dog shit need some new tires
Definitely, I'm on my second set. Love them
What’s the exhaust setup for this accord?? I’m looking to get the same setup for my V6 cause it sounds mad nice
Borla axleback + 12" Vibrant resonator
Beautiful
You get any vibration from lowering the accord? I hear these have a common issue with vibration 15-20mph range.
A tiny tiny bit between 20-30, but it's almost not noticeable. I lowered my car at 22K; if you have higher mileage you're more likely to have the issue. If you do you need new axles.
@@accordinglyryan ugh that’s what I was dreading.... I’ve been reading about the vibration. My 17 has 22k miles atm. Hesitant to lower it cause that.
@@vtecdpn100 It's luck of the draw tbh lol
Does this generation have oil consumption problems?
Around this time honda had that problem.
The previous generation had the worst of it (1st generation VCM); these aren't as bad. Regardless I would still recommend buying an S-VCM Controller to delete VCM permanently. I did this with Ktuner at about 5,000 miles and it never burned a drop of oil under my ownership.
He much horsepower the tune adds?
Yeah your car looks nice asf
Thanks man!
Hey bro wanted to ask a question , i have this year accord and the MBSTM system is annoying and i cant turn it off. It doesnt come with a button unlike newer models to turn it off and the vehicle settings on the screen does not allow me to turn it off, what do i do and how did u turn it off? Need help majorly pls bro
I was so out watching this video then saw the automatic transmission at 9:14 and killed my vibe
Wouldn't be the first time I've disappointed someone
I have a black 2016 v6. I'm looking for a rear oem spoiler. Any idea where I can find one? Also Apple car play sucks in my car too. Check into getting a purple seat cushion for long drives.
College Hills Honda sells them, along with other Honda OEM parts sites
What footwell lights did you put in? i was looking to do the same
Do you still have the link to the rear diffuser and will it fit the sedan version?
I don't, bought it 3 years ago and the seller doesn't exist anymore. I got it on eBay tho. It's just a universal one
Love the wheels!! I can't believe that asshole just ran you off the road like that... Did you get his plates/retribution ? Or is this normal driving in Houston?
Nah, never got anything for it. Houston drivers are shit
Good Looking car bro ❗️
Thanks man!
so you've been driving manual for 6 years...great job
Yup
@@accordinglyryan cool car tho
@@dnazz9784 Thanks!

They're from Autozone lol
@@accordinglyryan easy to install?
