  • Thanks for watching this video, which has tips for making money late-game in Witcher 3. Please like, comment and subscribe for more content if you enjoyed. This video goes hand in hand with my video about making Grandmaster armour sets as cheaply as possible, so check the link below if you want to watch that too.
    • Witcher 3: A Guide to ...
    Without further ado, here are some of the tips covered in this video:
    Trade in Florens & Orens at the bank for extra Crowns.
    IMPORTANT: Different armourers/blacksmiths give different prices. Joanna is the worst for selling, but the best for dismantling/crafting. Grandmaster armourer Lafargue is the worst for dismantling but best for selling, and only one who can create Enriched Dimeritium items and Infused Slyzard hides.
    Master armourers give 2x items for some dismantling. Only ever dismantle with master armourers (preferably Joanna)
    Stash weapons until later in game as long as you have money for what you need. This does slow down the menu when in your stash though.
    Don't buy or make things unnecessarily. Don't buy recipes where possible, loot chests when exploring to find them. Don't EVER buy runes or glyphs. Don't use runes or glyphs for the sake of it. Avoid Remove Upgrades like the plague, as it's expensive and destroys the runes or glyphs.
    Use repair kits, don't repair with the armourers.
    Craft runes and glyphs from scratch. Get Feathers for glyphs from Upper Mill Geese + meditate. Lesser infusion to lesser Glyph to Glyph to Master Glyph.
    Sell hides and items to Toussaint innkeepers.
    Some things can be sold eg some gems, Pearls and dusts BUT NOT ALL. You'll need gems for Feline swords and others. Save at least 5 each. Powdered Pearl is need for glyphs so try to keep a good number of pearls. Black Pearl Dust is used for runes, but should have enough lesser runes anyway to be able to sell most Black Pearls.
    Craft ingredients from scratch if possible, eg Green gold to Orihalcum. Dismantle items into Gold/Green Gold/Silver/Copper/Nickel.
    Manticore swords are a good alternative if you need to save on Grandmaster swords. Manticore armour set is cheaper on a first playthrough (not in New Game Plus though) The Viper set is cheaper too, but isn't as good offensively as the other sets.
    My main build is cheaper than most (in addition to being the best build possible) because it uses the Nilfgaardian/Undvik dlc trousers, Nilfgaardian Guardman's Gauntlets & Manticore boots instead of Grandmaster equivalents.
    The Hen Gaidth Sword is free; you only do first bit of the relevant mission to get the key. You can then get just the sword, which will possibly be even better than Toussaint Knight's Steel Sword due to level + different perks + free / no Enriched Dimeritium needed. This will be covered in the later part of my Death March walkthrough.
    Runewright level 3 is a luxury, not compulsory. You can leave this until after crafting Grandmaster armour and renovating Corvo Bianco IMO. My build uses Levity but works fine without it. Level 2 for Severance is great though.
    Most herbs are not needed for NG+.
    Hugo is the only full price merchant in the game, but he only has 500-600 crowns per time until you meditate or fast travel a few times. Save him in the Father Knows Worst mission, and spare his brothers too.
    Adding sockets to Aerondight is EXTREMELY expensive, but worth it. The Corvo Bianco Garden is essential for converting Mutagens to reds.
    Corvo Bianco costs 14k total.
    Sell all except 1 of each unique trophy (monsters, humans, gold, herbs, dismemberment boost)
    Use the Swineherd trophy before negotiation of contracts to get a 15% Gold boost!

      Akmal Rusydi you can play it tho. It only takes more time. I did it while actively attending school and doing other activities. Took me about 2 months to finish but every minute spent playing was really worth it. I think you can even manage it with less time if you’re only sticking to main and side quests plus occasional contracts. It took me that long only because I did all main quests, side quests, contracts, treasure hunts (minus bear and griffin gears up to master level, I found grandmaster gears for all schools cuz I fell in love with Touissant lol) and almost all question marks. Just throwing words out to busy people that you can do it too, you just have to practise time management.

    In Toussaint you need to find the bandit hause base marker named Mont Crane Castle (In that place you can also find the grandmaster griffin gear) it is important not to kill the bandit leader and instead when you finish all the bandits go to the portal where you get the grandmaster gear and return again, this way all the ordinary bandits will respawn over and over again and you can kill them for as long as you want, and you can make around 4-5 k gold , 15-20 onions, and lots of exp every wave of bandits

    This game is a masterpiece.
    It’s the perfect RPG. The lore is so realistic and the progression is slow but that makes it realistic. It’s very hard at first trying to figure it with the mechanics, your low weight load, your weapons and all the alchemy and crafting.
    It’s literally living a full life in another world. The story is yours to create. You wanna follow the main story? Do it.
    Wanna have multiple lovers and flirt? You can do it.
    You wanna be a monster fighting expert? Do it.
    You wanna gamble and play a complex card game? Do it.
    Every single one of those options is on their own, a complete story. Yet they also all intertwine. This game is a masterpiece of an open world single player rpg. The leveling system is meh, some might like it, some might prefer the dark souls style, but the character slots in your menu, as well as your inventory section, create your own skill based tree as well.
    It’s an in depth game is every aspect, which some might enjoy and some might find a bit drawn out, but hey, it’s enjoyable through and through and the choice is yours.

    • @Ecliptor.
      @Ecliptor. 3 года назад +2

      Nah man, it's very linear. All playthroughs play pretty much the same. The only options you really have is doing something or not.

      @@Ecliptor. Well, your choices do impact the world. Like in the Baron questline, he can either survive or kill himself depending on what you choose to do at the Whispering Hillock. Some of the hinzis (sp). There’s one king bandit camp in Tousaint where you get a lot of swords- just bomb freeze most of them and it’s quite easy even on deathmarch level. If you don’t kill the leader of the bandit camp and shift via sign to another location it will respawn - I made like 5-7k a run. It’s a bit boring but it’s effective.

      Guessing you figured it out by now... at first I avoided it for a long time until I learned that you just need to craft things one single time and then you get them refilled with 1-4 'charges' for each bomb, potion, decoction, and oils are unlimited... that made it so much more fun because I hate systems where you have to gather hundreds of the same nonsense to make 28 potions that will be used up in a week.

      @DPhoenix237  3 года назад +1

      You've probably got a lot of stuff in the other sections of your inventory without realising it.
      Check horse gear in particular as saddles are really heavy. Also, things like pelts and junk can quickly add up to a large amount, so check through those too. You can either stash this stuff, or sell it to whoever you want to.
      The innkeepers in Toussaint give the best prices, then the guy in the Kaer Trolde inn, then the ones in Novigrad and the surrounding settlements, as a rule. It's pretty easy to keep your inventory weight below 60, so strong back shouldn't ever be needed.
      Same for swords and armour. They're heavy and unnecessary; either stash them to sell or dismantle them later, or sell/dismantle them right away.

      You don't need diagrams for crafting ingredients like Dimeritium Ore; you are already able to craft those. Just make sure that the Blacksmith or Armourer that you're using is high enough level to craft them. Amateurs cannot craft them, only Journeymen or above.
      Some of the Blood and Wine components like Orichalcum and Green Good can only be crafted by Masters, and the Enriched Dimeritium and Infused Slyzard hides can only be crafted by the Grandmaster Lafargue.

    • @DPhoenix237
      @DPhoenix237  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Dev, that's a good idea for a video, I'm just struggling for time at the moment.
      You need a diagram for the glyphs or runes that you want to craft, yes.
      You can buy the diagrams from most armourers, blacksmiths or some herbalists.
      For each lesser rune or glyph you need two of the crafting ingredient 'lesser glyph (or rune) of infusion' and some other ingredients. If you need feathers, use Igni or Aard on the geese at Corvo Bianco or Upper Mill, or buy them from some merchants.
      You craft the lesser stones first , then 2 lesser stones make a regular stone, and finally 2 regular stones make a Greater stone.
      In total each Greater Rune or Glyph needs 8 Glyphs of infusion, which make 4 Lesser stones, which make 2 regular stones, which finally make 1 Greater stone.

      Legendary witcher gear is the New Game Plus versions if the same gear. Check out my build videos on the playlist on my channel; you can see that I have Legendary Witcher gear at the higher levels because that's on New Game Plus.
      The sets saying '1 of 6' refers to how many pieces of the Grandmaster set you are currently wearing. The level 40 Grandmaster sets from Blood and Wine give bonuses if you're wearing 3 to 6 pieces of the same set.
      For example, wearing three pieces of Grandmaster Griffin gear gives the ability to cast regular signs twice instead of once, and the 6 set bonus makes Yrden Magic Trap also create a regular Yrden whenever it hits an enemy.

    1. When geralt do final Battle in kaer mohren is triss will be join the Battle ?
    2. When I finish all the story and blood and wine, is yennefer will be stay in toussaint (geralt new home) or only ciri ?

      ****SPOILERS**** For people that haven't played yet.
      1. Triss will always be at Kaer Morhen no matter what choice you make about kissing her.
      2. Yennefer will be at Corvo Bianco after Blood and Wine if you tell her that you love her at the end of the quest 'The Last Wish' (the one where you fight the Djinn). This only happens if you do The Last Wish and DO NOT tell Triss that you love her.
      If you don't tell either of them that you love them (or you tell both of them that you love them) you end up with neither of them. If that is the case then Ciri visits you if you got the Witcher or Empress endings. If you got the bad ending or just played through the expansion by itself then it's Dandelion who comes to visit.
      Is there no language patch for the language that you speak? That sucks...I know there are quite a few language downloads but I don't know every language that's available unfortunately.

Works with mastercraft blacksmiths and the grandmaster armourer in Beauclair. You can drain him of all his 10,000-15,000 coin that he recovers to every few days, farming coin in just about 10 minutes. It is tedious AF, but well worth it.

    If you just keep attacking the Hanse bases in Toussaint, without killing the leader, then you amass so many looted swords (each worth > $200) that money will never ever be a problem again. The only problem is that you repeatedly bankrupt just about every blacksmith, armorer and merchant in the continent, so you have to do a bit of travelling to find one that still has coin. The best prices come from 4 locations in Beauclair (the 3 blacksmiths/armorers + the merchant next to the grandmaster armorer), the 2 locations in the tourney grounds, and the armorer you liberate to the southeast of Flovive. @@madmarty2892 Use the build at the end of my Preparing for New Game Plus video. There is an accompanying New Game Plus walkthrough that you can watch before starting.
      That's the best build in the game; makes Death March insanely easy.

      After you finish the main story questline you can choose to start New Game Plus and start the game again, with everything scaled up appropriately but you keep all your alchemy creations, gear, abilities and money.

    When will you do more Witcher 3 videos 😢

    • @DPhoenix237
      @DPhoenix237  2 года назад

      Maybe. Depends on a few things. They removed the Upload Studio app on Xbox One AFAIK and that was what I used to make videos on.
      Then Twitch started losing connection frequently and wasn't as reliable for decent length videos to upload afterwards either.
      We'll see.
