@@BillionaireHustleMindset I just ended up taking it to shop attached to frame. Replaced both air tires with solid tires. Air was nice, but they don't last.
@@degrawjb Scooter shop. Scooters and electric bikes. Trendy cities like Austin have one. The tire is very hard to take off / replace. You wont be able to do it on your own without specialized tools.
My newer Levy had not one but two three MM hex screws holding in the side fender. It was under a little black cap above the screw shown in the video. The actual nut that holds the motor on is a 18mm.
@@jasonegrossman I don't know the exact angle but I had the same problem with the valve sticking out and hitting the plastic housing on rotation. Had to re-install with a different tire inner. Inconsistency among tire manufacturing part of the cause but also helps to be very careful about inserting/positioning the tire inner ensuring that you get the best possible angle (push down and stay close to the surface prior to inflation). Hope that helps.
He forgot to mention there is another screw covered up by small black plug, immediately above the first screws u removed... Almost broke my hands trying take that darn plastic cover off until I realized this..
@@MegaThunderfist Thank you!! I was close to breaking the fender thinking I was doing something wrong because he made it look so easy. Without your comment this video is useless. Thanks again.
ISCOOTER i9 pro bald tyre ,Needs replaced Thankyou this will help me remove the wheel,Nobody in Dundee will touch them so i either buy new one or buy £17 tyre ,No brainer lol
Some screws just don't come out, I even tried a drill but its not coming out? (Yes I did it counter clockwise but it just got stuck, I also tried clockwise but same thing)
You stripped it bro. Which means there's nothing for the bit to grab on to. So the bit will just spin freely. Get an "EZ-Out" it's a bit designed for removing stripped screws/bolts👍😁
It would Be REALLY nice, if you guys uploaded a video on how to do this on one of your CURRENT SCOOTERS. This does not resemble a Levy Scooter, AT ALL.
These scooters are a pain the the ass to change inner tubes. I seriously wish they came with a solid tire option. I'll take a slightly more rough ride over flat tires any day.
I don't know why electric bicycle shops are afraid to touch these kinds of scooters. I don't know if they are not skilled enough as ebike mechanics to work on these
Because any work NOT done by the manufacturer voids the warranty, & after a repair there's a pretty good chance your scooter will not ride the same. My Hover 1 Journey is an A1 P.O.S. lol
Decemt video but he forgot to mention the second screw that's hidden with a plug. With that said...Levy scooters are godawful. For the same price; there are so many better options. It's just one of those generic cheap Chinese scooters rebranded. Have seen the same design under 3 or 4 names so far.. Many regrets on buying this thing
Sure would be nice to include instructions on how to remove the motor wire so I can take the wheel to the shop. Any suggestions ?
Not one of these videos include that, I'm stuck too.

@@TurboMountTV What type of shop did you take it to? I've called numerous bike shops around my area, and no one will work on electric scooters.

I rode a week with a flat tire?
OMG. I have to replace the tire while keeping the motor wire attached?!? This makes it so much harder.

Nick Gorkes me also. I was confused for a while
Same. Thanks.
Anyone know what angle the valve is at? I replaced the tube when I put the new tube in, it sticks out on my levy plus.

Do know where to buy those tires? I need to replace mine and hover said they are out of stock.
My screws are super tight i cant get them to turn with a hand held screw driver. Drill just strips them 😡😡😡😡

@Daniel Chris Ronan no it was just really tightly stuck on but I managed to get it, thanks anyways
Watching you use those channel lock pliers on that nut and calling them a wrench hurt me deeply!
Yea the bolts on mine is 18mm. 🤣🤣
Whoa, I had way more screws and they are all stuck in... can't even get passed the first step
How to actually change the tire would be nice

Try to always use the proper sized wrench

how are people buying this overpriced at $749 when other scooter brands are cheaper, faster, and longer range XD
