For your type of operation Michael, having the boards is the best way to proceed. Everything available at a glance rather than having to hunt for it on computer controlled databases. Don’t change it. 🇬🇧🚜👍
Hi Michael, always love to watch your vids, I notice you have a frequent cough, please don’t ignore this, get checked out, it may be something or nothing, but if it’s something it may well be the best checkup you will have, take care of yourself, no one else will!
That’s got ho be the new logo. “Only the best at GCS” 👍 electronic records are great for traceability and looking back, but white board is easy and reliable but I am guessing you must have a folder somewhere for each items check lists
Great video Michael, I'm with you on if it's not broke don't fix it. Regarding the decals peeling off, have you thought about spraying them with a strong contact adhesive rather than just rely on the sticky already on them. I can't cost that much for a can so might be worth a try. Nothing ventured nothing gained.👍.
No computer system needed for a smaller company. Any notifications can be sent on WhatsApp work groups. So nice to see the 3cx getting some love after being forgotten when mini diggers came out on job sites.
Tiger Seal is Strong enough to hold the Decals on Michael, But make sure that you keep it under the stickers As it will go off and permanent Brake cleaner will clean it before it's Hard ,
Database is the way to go, but you need good backup systems etc. But you also need to know how to use IT systems, so if your old school and it works leave well enough alone.
The vinyl is the problem withe the sticker, dont always assume that manufacturer sell the best quality decal. i produce new decals everyday for all types of machinery and no failure. make sure surface is totally clean and degreased and because its recessed make sure no air pockets are left around edges as water seeps in an it lifts, id bet thats whats happened here. when you apply it make sure its well rubbed down and sealed at edges where its in recess, then apply gentle heat over it when applied and it will never move. Need any help give me a shout, Colm
Hello Matey! I love the tag line,,,ONLY the best from G.C.S. What a great sweatshirt idea. R.E plant hire board, I agree 100% that it is a good idea. Computers are ok but a whiteboard is a quick glance up to know whats where and with whom. When I worked for CPH down here in Kent they had one in the plant hire office that everyone could see what was in the yard and needed servicing, what was ready for hire and so forth. I like the chain/sling rack, keeps em tidy and clean.
Joe had similar problems with decals on his new 9m JCB You'd think the price they charge and the free advertising, they'd use a better quality product, or revert back to paint and embossed steel lettering Careful Daniel, Charlie Chaplin struggled moving from silent to talkies lol Take care all Geoff

Hi Michael Nice one have a good weekend thanks again
Brilliant video, you are doing Brilliant hopefully get to see you soom Michael
good video Michael ,if your system works why change ,if it's not broken don't fix it ..
Coat of clear lacquer over the decals will never lift 💯💯💯
Michael you should use what a Andy said, only the best for gcs, nice ring to that
Great video Micheal
If your system works, stick with it. The boards show your kit at a glance instead of scrolling down endless screens.

Evening Michael
Keep your system, so everyone can quickly look at the board. To computerize the system you would need to employ more staff to input the information.
Database is the way to go, but you need good backup systems etc. But you also need to know how to use IT systems, so if your old school and it works leave well enough alone.
don't change that works for you

3CX on servo's then. Whats the dual drive mean. I love a 3cx and done thousands of hours on them.
Dual drive machine can be driven from the rear facing position, but not on the road.
@@Shaunalexander.99 Ah right, I only ever operated them with sticks.

Paint the logo white no more stickers pealing off

Take care all

Im surprised the paint hasn't fallen off it either. They must have improved the paint looking at it.
