better now and recoil seems to be in par with the C96 tanker and pilot carbine since I tested this weapon on Gallicia operation Brusilov Offensive playing as the Austrian Army
KriticalKris Did they nerf the trench carbine? It seems to take 4 bullets to kill up close. Also on the PS4 it says it does 27 dmg, not 34. Am I missing something?
@@ZangiefNoob they updated the stats but the in game visual stats often didn’t change in this game. Makes for some confusion
Unlike most RUclipsrs who just show gameplay and talk about the gun. You actually go into the historical details and stats on the weapon. You deserve way more subscribers than most of the other people who make BF1 videos like mr complainer levelcap.
I'm glad you take the time to edit these properly instead of rushing them out to get easy views. The quality of these guides are top notch

Disagree. I think the 1912/16 is a much more dymanic, interesting firearm due to its select fire capability and ability to mow in CQB.

At first, I hated this gun, but then I started to change my play style with it and now I absolutely love it . I try to take a medic play style, not so frontline centric, more of a second line attacker and you totally shred dudes left and right with it.
Damn shame most of these were destroyed
Man, I am loving this gun! I unlocked it without even going for it and decided to give it a try and I got 30 kills with it (got it Mid way through the match too), but I think this is because I mainly play the medic class. Nice review!

This gun is basically a M1903 experimental for the assault class.
GHOSTLEAD NOPE. M1903 experimental has: low damage, awful bullet spread, shitty iron sights, useless hip spread. C96 trench or as you propably wish m1917 trench carbine is IMHO best assault weapon. No recoil at all, 41ammo in a mag, dmg that allows you to kil enemy faster than any other smg at distance over 25 meters (dmg drop off, accuracy, rate of fire etc.).
Yep, except the M1917 has slightly higher damage at close range and better hip firing accuracy

This is truly a skill-canon, just like 8.35 Marksman/Factory. I find it pretty hard for me to use. Maybe I’m still in my learning curve

A relatively versatile weapon for the assault class. It is quite possibly if not probably the most potent assault-class weapon at relative range, and it is also fairly capable in close quarters combat, for the most part, as well.
Very useful review, I tend to use this weapon to take out targets from medium range and it is good for taking out those annoying people who hold up on the edge of the map...

you provide a good detailed guide to each weapon of bf1. you should format your videos like this for all the bf1 guns
Just unlocked this tonight and am a fan after just a couple matches. Decent damage and accuracy and a nearly non existent recoil allowing some fun and rewarding tack driver type of spam fire. Damage does still feel lower to me than the numbers say but if you can stay on target enemies will fall and the capacity allows the user to take on an entire squad and come out on top if played well. 10/10 would use again.

I love these reviews. Basically just DarthVeda but for games after Battlefield 4&H. (DarthVeda was a Battlefield 3, 4, and Hardline youtuber who did a Yes or No series where he would first say if you should generally use the weapon or not, and then do a detailed explanation and review similar to what Kris does here, and also recommend attachments. Unfortunately, he never really made content after Battlefield 1. Luckily, I found Kris who makes videos on par, or even better than him). The historical notes are a plus too!
Love this one, it's a close favourite with the ribeyrolle and the automatico as assault light weapons

Yo Chocolate Yea but that's the thing. Some people like the idea of having pineapple on pizza and the same for the gun sights 😄 I personally don't like pineapple on pizza or using buckhorn sights on the gun, but I understand if some people do

I absolutely love this gun! I don't know why, but I do! It's design is complex, and the way it works in the assualt class, but that's what makes it awesome!

Another thing you didn't mention for why the P08 Artillery was chosen over the M1917 was the shared magazine between the MP18 and the Artillery, with a 36 round drum

Used to be absolutely trash at assault class till I unlocked this, up to level 10 in 2 weeks :)
I just got the trench carbine I love it right after I got it I got a 4or 5 kill streak the patrol carbine is ok the scope on it gets in the way and has gotten me killed on more than one occasion I prefer the trench carbine better probably because I love iron sights but have that is just me

seems very similar to po8 artillerie, it just has more ammo better sights, and lower recoil
the m1917 carbine in my experience is great clip size, great reload speed, great accuracy retention, tight control, great iron sights, and acceptable damage output

There should be a variant with a low power optic, to cement it's place as a medium range weapon.

I'll probably make a video going over favourites at a later date, I tend to use all of the weapons equally though (depending on the gamemode and just general mood really) they're all useful in their own situations

InterMilitiaCp I would suggest either the M1911 as it is a great sidearm for finishing off players at close quarters or the Nagant or Gasser M1870 Revolver as those are great at finishing off players at medium distance if you run out of ammo

I have a serious question. Does the machine pistol have a 1200 rpm or 900? I just watched LevelCap say that the stats are 1200 though in game it says 900.

Jonathon Nabajeth. Keep in mind the new TTK patch, I heard it will be reduced to 900 rpm but has a higher dmg output.
Haven't heard it from the horses mouth (DICE) yet but according to symthic it uses the same rounds as the hellriegel, which is getting a buff.
Which automatic weapon(s) do you find the most forgiving for poor aim and trouble shooting when moving for close/medium range? (class isn't important)

The funniest thing about this gun is abusing the low recoil.
Just lay into them and tune into head when you can.
Or snipe a dude... with like 15 rounds real fast.
Other than that, stopping power is piss, you kinda use it like an SMG.
Patrol is great cause you have close range through hip fire easily.

This gun would NOT have been better than the alternative. You must keep in mind you're looking at this gun aesthetically and operation wise (when it always works.) thanks to the video game. It leaves out the reality of environmental and stress from excessive use durability and endurance. People complained about the pistol having some issues in these two areas in the past. The other one did not have as much cons. It had more marks over it than this weapon to make it be favored more. Also... You can't load a bayonet on it. The barrel portion always has to move operate for each shot. This is not suited for bayonets. If you're talking about the other one they had in mind was that special luger they made for the artillery then it has the same issue too. The difference is it has better longevity in the conditions they plan to use the firearms in. Then there is the fact they were already mass producing them and the magazine for it. This made the cost cheaper because you didn't have to tool up to manufacture the weapon. It also means you can just give guys what you already had in your stock or some other guy's gun. The games only show a superficial portrayal of guns. They leave out the reality of what the weapon is like and the logistics of actually required in producing and supplying for this gun. There's no way in hell they could have chosen that gun for the storm troops. If I recall properly they were still learning and understanding what a storm trooper needed for his job. This includes the importance to have the ability to attach a bayonet. You don't realize how still useful and practical they are in warfare, particularly for storm troopers. This is why they had that spike on that other sub gun that you can describe as a proto-nazi-mp-40 of ww2. Heck... even the Japanese realized just letting their cavalry have a saber instead simply doesn't cut it. Soldiers need a weapon they can attach a blade ahead of time to charge in c.q.b. areas without having to waste precious 1-5 seconds of pulling out the saber. You want to have the ability to stab immediately as you managed to jump into the location. That's why they didn't adopt it. They realized it was not a good idea or afford the m1917 trench
