They should make two other variants for the Howdah pistol. Make the one already with Assault the "Slug" variant, add a "Sweeper" variant as a rank 10 Medic weapon which basically functions like a small shotgun, and add the "Hunter" variant as a rank 15 unlock for the support class

That gun IS perfect for Brusilov offensive, when there are many holes in the fields near the objective. Nice hiddy holes~ to jump out of and run around. Snipers are the perfect prey.

Tristan C no, it wasn't. The Chauchat chambered in .30-06 that American troops trained on was the worst LMG ever made. The Chauchat chambered in 8mm Lebel actually used in combat was a great gun to have in 1915-18.

Given the fact that the assault gets all the the shotgun primary weapons in the game to give then in what in essence is a shotgun pistol feels redundant. 7 shots to kill for a 4 shot capacity, high caliber weapon; ok, DICE. It happened to me once where I landed all 4 shots on a proned Support at a distance after running out of ammo for my shotgun and he whipped around and killed me. Never again did I equip this pistol.

It encourages a fun playstyle. It's a weapon to pull out when it's a life or death situation. Also I bet it scares the shit out of enemies
I love running the Howdah as my main weapon in 200% weapon damage servers. Easily pull off 40-50 kills a match.

bulldog
howdah (decent reload speed)
longest 2hk range (other revolvers have 10meter 2hk by default)

octopusje no3 has very good control and little recoil, it's the easiest one to use but not the best
