WOW! The Henry Ford Museum was FANTASTIC! And I was so thrilled to see Fort Mackinac! My French fur-trapper ancestors moved to the fort from Montreal in about 1720! I vow to visit one day! So far, I've only traveled the western shore of Lake Superior up into the boundary waters near International Falls, MN ... a little primitive, but beautiful! Thanks again for another one of your great videos.
Isn’t wonderful when you find a video that teaches you about almost everything! Omg I love to learn watching all your videos my friend 🤩 you talk about traveling, markets, restaurant, cooking, weather, nature...I can watch you all day long. You have a great voice too! Congratulations friend 👏🏻👍🏻🎉
Hi Robert, I'm enjoying your videos of your adventures while I'm in the hospital fighting covid-19. Thank you for your hard work that you put into your travel program. Thanks again.
ALWAYS QUALITY CONENT. MANY other Nomad traveler RUclipsr's should learn from you. You keep it to what the CONTENT is and don't go into Covid rants or much of any complaints otherwise. LOVE YOUR CONTENT ALWAYS!!
The MacGuinness family from the Great state of Michigan loves this movie!!! Our favorite Traveling Robert cinematic adventure yet... Fly Pelican, Fly! #PelicanHead
Wow you know I lived in Michigan for more than 8 years for school and work and it blows my mind I've never visited any of these spots that you've been to last year. I did cross over the Mackinac Bridge but I did not even visit Mackinac Island nor did I visit the Henry Ford Museum. Thanks for your videos because you show me places that I haven't even heard of.
Of all the things I imagined Michigan would look it was certainly not THIS BEAUTIFUL. I had to watch this video twice to take it all in. This is one of the best videos of yours so far , Many thanks for the upload
I recently discovered your channel. I love your insight toward the beauty in the smallest details and your sense of humor. Your videos are amazing and a treat to watch.
Men’s buttons were designed in medieval times so when U drew your sword out u didn’t cut your buttons off. Most people are right handed. Being women were held in a different regard so they moved there buttons to the other side. The UP is one of my favorite camping adventures. Lots of scenic beauty, natural wonders and great museums. Very nice video, makes me want to go back right now
Turn the poncho inside out. Then the buttons will be on the 'man's' side lol. My first trip to Mackinac Island was in 1958 aboard the S.S. Badger. A real steamship ferry. My last trip across Lake Michigan was 2014. From Ludington MI. to Manitowoc WI. A 4-hour cruise. We left the truck and RV in MI. Spent the night in WI. and returned the next day, another 4-hour cruise. Very relaxing. Just watch out for the 'buggy exhaust' on the Island.
55 degree weather isn't cold to us Michiganders.. No that's t-shirt weather for us 😎😂.. Keep in mind how cold it really gets in our Winters here in the Beautiful State of Michigan 😘🤗😁
“Some trees are starting to get the memo Fall is upon us”. Love it! Love your commentary. You are humble and kind Robert and I enjoy your videos. Safe travels.😊🇨🇦
Next time you're in our beautiful state make a stop at Whitefish Point, Tahquamenon Falls, Marquette, and the other side of the UP for the Keewanaw Peninsula, go all the way up the peninsula, and the Porcupine Mtns. Highly recommend in the early fall for the colors.
After a bunch of yourvideos and always loving the song, I realized it was u singing! Great job in this composition. You certainly gave great energy and you have a smooth and powerful voice. Loved it!
Robert, I think I and my family missed you in Michigan by about a week! Mackinac City/Island is a beautiful area! The kids were able to swim in Lake Superior, Michigan, and Huron all within a week. We toured the island by bike. We brought our own. Great way to see the island, but if you have to rent it’s pretty spendy.
Hey Robert! We have watched your videos for several years now and we have to say this is the absolute #1 greatest video we've ever watched! Almost enough where we would consider buying property here lol.
A large portion of Detroit has been purchased and renovated. Many of those abandoned buildings are now very expensive condos. The governor of Michigan has turned the city around with people friendly things to see and do. The miles long sidewalk along the Detroit riverfront is amazing and fun to bike or walk with restaurants along the way. So much to do! Eastern Market is a must. Christmas is spectacular at beautiful Campus Martius Park. Detroit isn't what it was 20 years ago. I can't say enough about it. Ps Ford renovationed the long abandoned old Detroit Train Station into restaurants, offices, maybe condos, etc. It's due to open any day now. It is magnificent!!
I loved old Kia Robert but your Colorado is doing an amazing job pulling Minitini around. I loved seeing old kia struggle up those long hill's with water overheating problems and finally getting to the top was my favourite part. going to miss Old Kia.
Great video. My wife and I are from Michigan down by Metro Airport, we stayed overnight at the Christmas casino in the RV spots with my son and his wife. Not as crowded in Octoberof 2019. . You are a great RVing ambassador.
I haven't been to the upper peninsula since 1991. Thanks for bringing back memories and now I need to plan another visit. Mackinac Island smelled like fudge and horse crap. What a combination. If you haven't already visited check out Whitefish Point and the shipwreck museum. Also Sault Ste Marie.
Wow what a nice adaptation of famous Rachmaninov rhapsody theme 59:45 right there to match this beautiful day adventure. We love to see your vids as they're almost the same like we see everything through our eyes when traveling and exploring places. Though we are not RVing, we're from Germany and look forward to our next holiday round trip
Great movie as a person from Michigan who is also Latina I appreciate your perspective in traveling here and I never went to a lot of the places that you went to because I live on the other side of the state
We really enjoyed our long weekend at Mackinac. Definitly worth the stay. If you want to relax, spend time in a place that has no cars. A great place to eat is at the restaurant at the fort. It is the same chef as the grand hotel but more reasonable prices and great view. Fun facts: Mackinac island was always a resort island, even with the native indians. They would plant their crops, go spend the summer at the island then leave in the fall for the harvest. The locals say there are three seasons at mackinac, winter, tourist season & pre-tourist season when they fix up the island after the long hard winters.
Like your version of "Rhapsody on a Theme" by Paganini while touring the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. That was a great nod toward the great movie "Somewhere in Time" 👍
This looks epic! Getting late here in the sand box. I'll have to catch tomorrow morning when I get up. Really awesome you put the 3 together brother! We'll see ya on the Friday Live chat. EDIT- Best two hours spent today!!
I love all your travels. But you're right. Some people don't know about customer service. I loved talking to people when I worked as a cashier at walmart.
Love your travels, enjoy the narratives. You have a way with words. I wonder what's your truck mileage with all that driving you do. Can't imagine cooking after every tiring drive too. And yes, what's up with the thumbs down 👎?
I love love love your channel I have been a lot of your places but so enjoy all the places you go. Awesome job! Keep trucking 😎😎😎 P.S. I just watched your episode where you went on the crazy hike in Zion Wow!!!
Love how you combined the videos, makes it easier to catch up! I have to say the Ford museum was very interesting and something, I need to check if I'm ever in the area. The Grand Hotel is nice and all, but I say the Biltmore in Coral Gables is more regal.
I do enjoy lot of your traveling that’s quite a adventure for you and your wife. The USA has much to offer and if my health holds out me and my wife wants to do much traveling and see historical sites we have a class A motor home and would like to start traveling.
I love the way your videos are not all sunshine and flowers. When you have a bone to chew, you chew it. Did you get that allusion to the song "Edmund Fitzgerald?" And I must say I enjoyed the way you fold the music from somewhere in time into this video.
That's what happens when you're surrounded by freshwater seas lol. "Lake effect" weather is something we are all used to here. Makes things interesting though XD.
You should come and see the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota!! I have watched a lot of your videos and I have noticed you haven’t really seen much of my beautiful state.
Robert, this was so very interesting for me to see. My husband and myself wish to do the Lake Superior circle tour. However, with our borders being closed, your video has temporarily satisfied my itch to travel. We are in Thunder Bay, ON Canada. Thunder Bay is along Lake Superior. Our terrain is the same as Michigan. You are a talented videographer.
Thanks for the videos, Robert. The States is such a great country. You've got pretty much everything. You can go places with nicer weather all year round. Some lakes are not lakes, they are more like inland seas or even oceans, and they are freshwater lakes, you guys will never run out of water, that's for sure. All the best to you, mate. From Australia ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍
I started watching this series as a way to have a sort of "staycation" so I wouldn't miss travelling... Unfortunately, this just makes me want to travel _more!_
Hello dear Robert Greetings from Saudi Arabia, I was surfing the RUclips just to spend time while I wait for my turn at the dentist . Since then I was hooked to your channel, I spend hours on my PC , with 2 windows. One for your videos and the other for goggle earth . To see where you are on the map. The way you take the videos and all the information you give on the way is exceptional. I haven’t seen any one like you on RUclips. You see my goggle map app. It’s all pin points , One day I will do the same, making your videos my reference . For the RV community, you rock . This is a more positive light on Michigan! The Upper Peninsula is on my to-visit list!
I really like his comments. I can identify with his reactions to the places he visit. He is so real.

Great job covering all this @Traveling Robert Do you have a small fear of horses perhaps 😂🐎I do love the thumbnail of a horse pulling minitini😂
I live your tour of the Ford museum. I would think it would only be about cars, but it is so much more. I look forward to visiting it someday.
The Ford Museum Was So UNBELIEVABLE & So Awesom
Cool video enjoyed it very much especially like the island with the fort. Fudge definitely sound good LOL.
Hey Robert! We have watched your videos for several years now and we have to say this is the absolute #1 greatest video we've ever watched! Almost enough where we would consider buying property here lol.

I love how you say country. It sounds like corn tree. I always stop and say huh? Love it!! Keep up the awesome videos!!!
The U.P. Is beautiful especially in the fall. The Northern shore of Lake Superior (Canada) is one our favorite places (Pukaskwa Natl. Park).
Thank you for tolerating the rain so we can see the waterfalls!
Great shot of Lake Superior 🌊🔉

“This dune has been here for many years.”
Oh really?
“You know, since the last ice age.” Haha.
Ha! Watching this after I just got stung repeatedly for the first time in years ( you referred to a bar with bees)
You have to go back to visit Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Sand dunes.
The Fort Was Awesome
Great Mr Robert.
The lake was grand felt like I was there!🚣
