Love your traveling show.
Thank you for sharing it.
The Travel Channel used to show cool stuff like this... now it's all "haunted whatever" junk. Thanks Robert for keeping the travelogue alive!
I hate what’s happened to the Travel Channel! Traveling Robert is his own traveling channel!
Congrats Robert! You've got to be the only person that can make ND look like a vacation destination. Thanks for a great look at ND!
Lol just don’t come here during the winter and it’s fine
That was funny! L0l!
North Dakota is boring I live here.it gets colder then hell. It’s get windy as hell too.
I've lived here my whole life so the winds normal and the Winters not that bad
Lol
Welcome to ND! We’ve been having a warm winter. It’s been in the 40’s and 50’s.
Like at my place on the northern shore of the Med.
@@Hako_exe south of France here . Not cold (around 50F) but boy is it cloudy humid and sad looking.
@@Hako_exe it's now reached over 50
@@Hako_exe haha it was colder there for a few weeks now it’s back up 🤣
I'm a black guy from Chicago been living in Bismarck for 10 years I got a good job a house in a fiance haven't look back since
Way to go Reggie! It can be done with a little hard work and effort. Anyone from anywhere of any race is welcome here in ND as long as they work and be good people. There’s so many jobs here there is no excuse for not working.
I’m curious, what do you do for recreation? What would you recommend for someone to do if they came to visit?
American pride nothing wrong with that
How about that racist bus driver in Fargo?
Reggie wise move!
The red berries are choke cherries, good jam.
TGIS.... Thank God it Sunday...... a new video from Robert on Sunday mornings is like a ray of sunshine on a gloomy day.
North Dakota has been far more interesting than I thought it would be. Thanks Robert for making your travel videos!
I like that you actually showed the difference of land across the whole state, most people just think of the flat Fargo area and completely forget about the rough terrain of the badlands, could sit and watch your videos everyday.
Born and raised North Dakotan here! Thank you for coming to our state and enjoying it. We have a lot of wonderful things here. When some people think of North Dakota sometimes they don’t think we have good sight seeing.
That last panoramic shot of the Badlands look like a painting, beautiful!
I've lived in North Dakota my entire life and it really is a great place. Every winter is worth enduring for the summer that follows.
Thank you so much Robert for making me appreciate my state so much more than I ever have. I admit that I have taken living here for granted at times, and you made me realize the rustic beauty. You have seen more of North Dakota than I ever have, and I was born here....that's a bit embarrassing. But, you inspired me to make some road trips in the future!!!! Thank you again for your kindness and compliments regarding my home state!!!!
I enjoy seeing small town America through your lenses!
My dads like "If we weren't in South Dakota I would have let him camp in our yard" 😂
I’ve been living in ND for 20 years and haven’t been to these places lol
North Dakota looks fascinating. The landscape ,even when pancake flat, is flat on a grand scale. The towns seem pleasant and there is a stack of historical sites for any traveller with a half-serious interest in such things. I can't wait to see the Badlands.
Beautiful landscape but intolerable politics.
How so? Honest question. I’m not very knowledgeable about ND politics besides the fact that I would assume it is fairly conservative.
@@chriswebb3179 we are mostly conservative here, however, When I lived in Denver I didn't feel that they had "intolerable politics". Maybe that is one of the biggest differences between conservatives and liberals, we accept anyone and respect your right to disagree with us @AOL. Bless your heart.
@@terrijom9227 @Terri Jo M Hi Terri! I have been to Denver a few times and I really enjoy spending time there. I may not agree with the political leaning of every town or state that I visit, but I think meeting and getting to know others is incredibly enriching. I do genuinely believe that the things that unite us are much more numerous and important than what divide us. @AOL I hope you are able to enjoy traveling even in the midst of what you consider "intolerable politics." :) Happy travels!
@@chriswebb3179 I agree. @AOL stated we have "intolerable politics". It is sad when that is so important that it outweighs the positives in any subject. I enjoyed my time in Denver, and politics was never an issue between me and my friends. It is sad when that becomes the biggest issue and people close themselves from friends if they don't agree. 🥺😢
North Dakota is actually known as the Peace Garden State now that's an attraction
Glad you enjoyed ND! A little history lesson for you, the reason why the red River valley around fargo is so flat and all of a sudden you reach hills around valley city and Jamestown is because the fargo area rests at the bottom of an ancient lake bed. This lake was know as lake Agassiz and stretched from the great lakes to the Jamestown area. It was a massive lake that formed and inland sea as a result of the glaciers reseeding after the last Ice Age. It eventually dried up and formed the rivers and lakes that exist today. It is also this ancient lake that makes the soil in the red River valley the most fertile in the world. But that also means the area is plagued by deep massive layers of clay. Hence why we really have never built up.
Man, your "driving to the west" themesong, and any themesong for that matter always gets me in a good mood :D :D
That world's tallest TV tower pictured in this video... I was on the survey crew that staked it out in the middle of a cornfield near Blanchard, ND, the summer of 1963. I was 18 years old back then.
“She keeps telling me what to do”. Hahahahaha
Thank you for featuring my home state, and appreciating it’s beauty! I watched with great interest the story of your youth, and I am so impressed with your interest in this beautiful country. I wish everyone appreciated and shared your enthusiasm for this incredible country. Keep up the phenomenal work!
It is nice except for the conservative politics.
@@ralphkramden2089 I've fought against you all my entire life living here, if it weren't for my family I'd have been gone.
I usually watch your videos as soon as they are posted but when I saw this one was an hour and a half the wife and I decided to wait and make it into a movie night with dinner. Thank you for a great video and a chance to chill out with the wife.
I live in North Dakota and it was so weird seeing on my recommendation page because no one ever goes here. Lol
Sameeee
I love those small towns like that in fact I live in a small town called Hermiston Oregon been hanging my hat here since 1978
I live in fargo n.d it's pretty big I think it has 250,000 people in the metro area
Robert, I want to thank you for taking time out of your schedule to travel through the State of North Dakota. I was born in Dickinson, gateway to the Badlands, in 1962. For a while, in the mid-late 70's, I lived near a small town of Munich, in the somewhat N.E. part of the state. Munich happens to be sister-city to Munich, Germany. Of course, the country of Germany is divided up into 5-6 sections. In any case, North Dakota can be very interesting, and sometimes very boring, too. But, all in all, North Dakota is just so real and genuine. Have yourself a wonderful trip through N.D.
I've lived in ND the majority of my life...it's interesting to see it through the eyes of someone who is seeing it for the first time
Me too
Hi aria do u have insta?
Another great episode as usual Robert. North Dakota is so beautiful. Thanks for posting so I can experience it vicariously through you.
I'm so glad to find Roberts videos. Now for 2 hrs every night we travel.
23:26 Holy smoothest seatbelt fastening I've ever seen! Nobody has ever looked cooler! That looked like a bit of a flex but if I could look that cool, I'd stare at a mirror most of the time...
Your videos are always superb! This one is no exception!!
ANOTHER GREAT ADVENTURE..YES FLY THE DRONE..THANKS ROBERT
Welcome to North Dakota when you can watch your dog run away for 2 days straight.
That's a threshing machine Robert. Before "combines".
Wonderful video, Robert! I married a North Dakota native and have spent a lot of time in the state--you did a great job of visiting some fun places and getting off the interstate. Going across the northern part of the state was great--I am convinced I can see the curvature of the earth there. The Knife River Indian Villages are an under visited gem in the state.
Keep traveling and sharing such great videos!
From a proud ND citizen - Thank you!
My mom and dad were from Ruby,at one time a very long time ago all the family on both sides were from there, they have all passed now.
Good Sunday, Robert. Another pleasant video of the forgotten states. Good job, have fun and be safe. Take care, my friend.
Fantstic movie! Thank you to lighten up this terrible year! Normally we come to the USA every year for 1 month but these year we can’t leave Europe :-( your videos meant a lot to me during the lockdowns here in Europe!
That was a fun and interesting trip. You made it to your happy place. The mountains. ❤
This is one of your best videos. Enjoyed it very much.
I really enjoyed this video Robert! The views, and I especially enjoyed the history. Exploring is so much more interesting when the history is explained. I am grateful that you take the time to visit the many areas of interest and explain the historical points of each one. Thank you again for making and sharing. Safe travels and God Bless!
Loved this one too. It was nice and long. It made my day end well. You are at peace with yourself and that's reflected in your videos .Thank you.
I live right behind the geese and flight statue on the enchanted highway! Glad you came to visit the great state of North Dakota!
Again, Sunday relaxing with your videos Robert and your music
Gracias
I lived in on Minot Air Force Base in the 70s and remember fishing in Lake Sakakawea with my parents as a child on that very road seen straddling the Missouri and Lake Sakakawea. Great video and great memories.
Another excellent tour! thank you, Robert.😉🇨🇦
Thank you Robert for your videos great job.
This is one of your best long form travelogues.
If we can ever break out of our California Covid Prison we defiantly want to take our RV and spend a month (or two) exploring both the Dakotas (N & S)!
I moved here a year ago and I’ve been constantly impressed with this state. Love it here
I've lived here for about 4 years after being born and raised in Southern California for 30 years. I do miss that great weather but ND is a fine place to live and raise a family...even with the long tough winters.
Awesome, awesome, thank you for another cool adventure, can't wait for the next one.
Hi Rob Great as always Love the Sunday omlet!!
Felicidades Robert!!! Excelente trabajo!!!! Un abrazo
Fabulous photography and insight into what ND has to offer. Thank you fir sharing!
Nice video Robert and thanks for the laugh "she keeps telling me what to do" . Good one Robert!😊
Love going along on your journeys Robert , it feels like we are right there with you ❤
All the sculptures are incredible Thank you
Great way to spend our Sunday morning! We very much enjoyed watching your travels through this part of the country. The enchanted highway was really Cool! Thanks for another great video!
1.5 hours episode?! AWESOME!!! Thank you Robert!!!
Great video Robert! I have never heard of the enchanted highway 🛣, very interesting, the pheasants were my favorite👏
Thank you for sharing. I have always wanted to go to the Dakotas. Now you have shared with us it feels like I was along with you.
Good morning Traveling Robert . Thanks for the new video . Right now I’m looking at the trip from Florida to California. Beautiful scenery . Thank you so much for these videos . Happy Sunday !!🍃🍃
Finally you get to see ND Robert! So happy you got to. I have had the opportunity to see a lot of the state myself from Devils lake to the Theodore Roosevelt’s national park. You will have found it is such a peaceful and welcoming state. So happy for you my friend.☺️
Darn I wish I had those Shoes when I was a Kid....Also Glad to see North Dakota has gotten some Trees since I was there last...
The short door can be explained because people back then were a lot shorter than they are nowadays.
Thanks for the extra-long episode.
Can't wait to visit the Dakotas and Wyoming. Thanks Robert!

Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Great story telling and pictures as well as flight with drone. What an interesting trip. I'd like to see some of this Lewis and Clark museums some day, their travel is something I've read alot about. I sure enjoyed this long video, I missed not seeing one last week. But, I think you were just wonderful I last night's mini tini lounge! Thanks for entertainment, you are just the best Robert.
Wow, that Grand View was breathtaking thank you it was such a great video I think I will watch it again perhaps tonight with my brother him and I love your shows be safe God bless
My husband and I did a road trip back at the end of September and went through North Dakota on I94. It was so nice getting to see the Enchanted Highway again, that was so cool to see in person. Theodore Rosevelt National Park is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to see your video of the park!
Great video again as usual. 👍 The blessing of the "White Bison" got you though N. Dakota in great shape! Safe travels everyone!! 😊👌😊
Great video! Enjoyed immensely. Love the longer videos. Nice and relaxing 🙂
Thank you for showing us all that you do. You amaze me.
Wonderful video! North Dakota has some very nice places to visit! I live in Florida now, but I'm from the Midwest and I miss some of our drives with very little traffic. Thanks for sharing this video!
Hey Robert! I loved the video. I was stationed in Grand Forks for 3 years. I did take leave and worked the beet harvest in October. I drove a truck from the field to the plant during the harvest. It was interesting. I used to ride a bicycle for miles on those back roads. I did the MS150 there. I witnessed the big flood in 1997. Many great memories.
I love My Sunday’s now and I like the movie style length content as well. Keep up the work!
Thank you Robert for the North Dakota video! I was excited to sit down with my coffee this am and watch your travels through one of my favorite states. Living nearby, Nodak is a hop, skip, and a jump away and I enjoy visiting every year. I was a little bummed that your badlands exploring is in the next vid 😁 but waiting anxiously for the next. You do a wonderful job and I’ve purchased most of your songs. Thanks again and safe travels!
Another area of the country that needs to go on my list. So much to see, so little time. Nice job.
Thank you for this lovely and informative video.
Robert. Thank you for your spectacular Video RV trips. I haven’t been able to RV for many years and enjoy you sharing. It is almost like being there. Great narrative, and very informative. Also enjoy drone video and cooking clips.
Ooh my Lord! You really overdid it on the groceries very nicely!!!🤣😊
I love your travels Robert. We are planning a trip from Pompano Beach to the Pacific NW and your adventures through the Dakotas will help me plan a trip to see interesting sites while avoiding the crowds. Stay safe and keep traveling.
Thanks for your content, Robert. Have been watching you a long time now. And thanks for the discount on Vessi -- just ordered some with your promotional code.
Great video. I live in Hope North Dakota it is a great town to live in!! Wouldn't live any where else. My husband wired most of the grain elevator in ND. Cant wait to watch more!
I've really been enjoying your excursions with "you and your RV". I feel like I've hung out with you all over Oregon, Washington, Salt Lake, Nebraska, Wyoming, Idaho, Michigan, South Dakota, and now North Dakota. I also see what's worth seeing (Michigan Wyoming and Oregon coast) and what isn't. It's nice that you appreciate wherever you are, even if there is not much there to see. You still remain positive and open to fun and exploration. It's so relaxing to cruise along with your commentary on long roads. I find it a wonderful stress relief and a positive thing to watch in place of the news. I like that you keep it short and sweet and also leave room for spontaneity. I also enjoy the cooking sections at the end of the day with your usual staples (onion powder, cumin, paprika, cooking wine, veggies). It looks so cozy in your little RV. Thanks for sharing your happy life and easygoing tours. I'm really enjoying it and feel like I went with you. I hope to take a road trip someday, myself. I've never done that, only flown. You make it seem so easy. Thank you, Robert. I'm in Los Angeles.
I’m a delivery driver through NC and I love your videos, small town America you inspire me to visit more small towns along the east coast.keep up your travels.
I’m planning on visiting ND soon. I really enjoyed your video! Even my daughter stayed to watch.😉
From North Dakota with Love, beautiful scenery 👍😋 Well done Robert.
Very nice. I really liked when you quoted from Steinbeck's Travels with Charley...a favorite book I read many years ago.
Hi sallianne do u have insta?
Awe you came to my neck of the woods! Ebeneezer’s is my favorite place to eat at. Irish fries are the bomb!
Excellent video 📹! Love those buffaloes...specially the bison tips with mashed potatoes 🥔 😋
“This part has certainly exceeded my flatness expectations.” Lol. Now that’s a classic quote! 2020 hints at your then future Lewis and Clark trip, I can see how this season inspired it. I’m especially fond of all the history, book mention, (I keep a copy in our trailer) and that incredible sunrise. You can’t appreciate all that “flatness” until you get out there and see life beyond the landscapes. It is truly a joy to experience every intricacy of travel, not just the pretty stuff.
The channel library is full of timeless stories, scenery and pieces of useful information, and I have referenced it quite a bit in the last few months in planning our six week adventure. Your videos are beneficial as much as they are entertaining… North Dakota is on the list this summer, but only a snippet for about three days to see Theodore Roosevelt NP. Great episode. Thank you for sharing!
Wonderful video. I've never seen ND so this was great!
Museum looked cool!
Great video, very informative.
Always so enjoyable to watch! Thanks Robert!
You are amazing. Thank You for sharing your experiences. 👏👏👏👏🏆
