Have a lot of respect for putting out good, high quality reviews but without the lack of knowledge and easy to pleaseness of mainstream games media. Racing fans who arent handing out 10/10s because the graphics are good. Good stuff. :)
This was a great review of Dirt 5, thanks for that. Personally I don't want story in my racing games, and I like to play more sim racing. I get that for an arcade racing game, you'd want story. Most sim racing games you only care about what's going on with what's happening on the track. I can see how this was a bit of a letdown with Dirt 5. They have a lot of character with those voice overs between menus and they added a good opening to making a proper story. Hopefully we see this game get improved on with either a huge DLC drop for it (Forza Horizon style) or the next DiRT game gets these improvements. They have a very solid base to work from now. Looks like it sold well and the future of DiRT is still bright.
Hi i dont think it is as good as the other Dirt games by a mile and rates as the worst one i have ever bought and i know things have to change but not for the worst the old Dirt games were a joy to use and no one will deny this but this rubish will end up under my tea cup to stop staining the tea cloth ,take in to account i am a novice but certainly dont like wasting my hard earned cash to prove it very sad and Dissapointed
the big problem with dirt 5 is that after playing trough the career mode ( which is average at most and sometimes even boring) there is really nothing to do unless you have a good friend to play with. in the end its just a mediocre game.
It's an ok game, fun to play, reminds me of the Motorstorm series on PS3, despite the same kind of frustrating or even unfair AI at times. I don't see much replayability either. For me it's a 7/10.
Thanks for your review. I own this game myself. And here the AI is not interesting, then they are too strong (on one difficulty), then they lag behind a circle. In general, the game is colorful, but there is not enough graphics in 2021 ... Hi Forza Horizon ... Passed a career and there is nothing to do in the game.

The first dirt on Xbox 360 will always be my favorite, and rally 2.0 right next to it.
