Why is the live stream lag while livestream?
Lag live streams are typically caused by either one of these things- an overloaded computer or a spotty internet connection.

It's kinda crazy how the depths are just as unique and arguably more interesting than the sky islands yet somehow Nintendo didn't advertise it at ALL. Like an entire third of the game just completely hidden until release. It was so cool when I discovered them and slowly realized just how big it was
Bloodborne did the same thing, It's marketing focused ENTIRELY on the hunt and left the 2nd half of the game as a surprise, and it was fantastic.
I wish more companies would do this type of marketing, the depths are a WELCOME surprise in an age when 9/10 games released are garbage.
This is so true they are super cool when every i find or notice something in the depths its so cool like miner spoiler ahead: when I was exploring the depths one time I noticed that the lightroots in the depths are at the same spots as the shrines on the surface
I love how much there is to just discover.
@@aura8940 oh yeah I remember being very pleasantly surprised in that by the shift from what I thought was basically 3D castlevania to full on Lovecraftian horror shit

The depths legit kinda make me panic lol, its a scary concept that all that was under us the whole time in botw. This game is INSANE
eh, dosent really make me scared or anything. nothings worse than the dungeon under the kakariko village well, when i played when i was a kid.

Crow worrying about his 90 min videos, meanwhile I'm here watching back the full streams because I love his content.
sameee
Yup I decided that the way I wanted to experience this game was to watch all of the stream VODs
Honestly like I mean no shade to his editors but the editing of his main channel videos is kinda bad. They cut way too much and skip way too much, his reactions are pretty good but they are never shown at their fullest, they always cut them after like 10 seconds.
So true, im rewatching them right now, second watch through :D
Me being too afraid to fight the gleeok’s despite having way more health and better equipment than Eric rigorously taking notes on the fight
what an amazing game- i knew we expected greatness but nobody expected it to be THIS great
agree
one of the only games to drop where it’s actually far better than expected
Dudes I straight up was wondering like, “Six years of dev time? The fuck took them so long?” Then I saw the size of the depths and was like oh shit! I was hoping for a lot of content but I didn’t think we have an entire new world to explore xd. I thought the depths were just gonna be some big caves.
@@oki_X And it’s not like we had low expectations. People expected this to top Breath of the Wild which was already one of the best games of the last decade. It had a sky high (pun intended) bar to clear and it fucking destroyed it.
I bought this game but its different.
The depths remind me SO much of the Ghibli movie "Nausicaä". And its my favourite place to be. I love the creepy and mysterious athmosphere and exploring everything is so much fun!
Glad I'm not the only one who thought of Nausicaä (don't have the game yet but the underground also is my favourit)

the master Kogah interaction. I had recently visited the old mans house and discovered it overrun by the Yiga, and freed a tailor who gave me a yiga mask. I had it on during the time of the interaction between me and master Kogah. Due to this there was a line which otherwise would not have been there, when master Kogah says 'I can tell it's you even underneath that mask!' I was wowed. My favorite interaction ever. 11/10 game.
yeah I’m pretty sure the NPCs are a lot more reactive to your outfit in this game compared to botw, it’s very cool
Man, The Depths have a lot more varying degrees of topographical highs and lows than I thought they would. And quite a few cool features too. At the start of most let's plays when people discover the Depths, the ground seemed very flat. I'd love to see a 3d render of the Depths.
It's basically the overworld in reverse. So whenever there's a mountain in the overworld, there's a hole in the depths and vice versa. So for example the canyon where the forgotten temple is located is a huge mountain in the depths.
@@Namoraslife what? 😳
@@StiffAftermath yeah, that's also why the lightroot names are the shrine names in reverse...
@@Namoraslifethe reversed names i did notice 😀, but wow on the reverse topography!
I was so excited when I first heard there was an entire underground map from that one Steward/Forge Construct. I skipped through his dialogue about where to find Zonaite, and briefly saw the word ‘depths’. I actually had to do a double take and was like “Wait, WHAT DID YOU SAY???”
I love how you never know what to expect down there. The moment you think you know what's going on, a boss shows up, or your on the hunt for special gear, or you straight up find a dungeon. On top of that, it's so easy to get lost when you don't have brightbloom seeds, giving an entirely different feel than anywhere else. I get that the depths aren't everyone's favorite, but actually going through it is far more of an experience than "hyrule with brightness at 0".
The fact that he just encounters a dungeon boss in the open world shows how insane this game is
A Moment of silence for that one yiga who never got his banana 🍌 😔😔
You hit the nail on the head. The newer something is, the safer a long video is. Like at this point, even 40 minutes of BOTW content would be too much for a lot of people who still love BOTW.
Honestly it's true there's hype but also I just watched a 5.5 hours video about the no a button challenge on a very old Mario game
I was really worried that once I finished the story I wouldn't be excited to do everything else cuz that's how I felt in botw but weirdly im even more excited to keep playing now. Not to mention the final boss fight was so much better that I'm actually hyped to play it all over again
I saw a video of the final boss fight, it looks like a lot of fun
Sledrick was the absolute GOAT I’m going to miss them.
man crow could've saved him as a schematic only if the shrine didn't delete him off the face of hyrule
fredrick was better

Batteries are insanely useful once you're aiming for 100% completion. You can just fly for ever and spot everything (koroks, shrines, landmarks).
When you just aiming to finish the game the depths are pretty pointless except for a few good quests (Yiga etc). Still my favorite part of this game though.

i feel so bad for crow having to constanly have people shipping him with abby like bro apparently friends dont exist anymore
Fr like shipping live real people is gross af
also the fact that Abby is his manager??? You shouldn't be dating your manager/boss, it's just unprofessional
Even if they were dating like it’s not our business really
Its odd But common sadly In most cases if a boy is friends with a girl Instantly people Ship them for Example every single youtuber that speaks to a boy or girl
The Only funny Shipping I have ever seen is josh dub and his friends those are funny.

36:14 The ability to attach items to weapons to increase durability, change attack power, and change attack effects allows even the weakest of weapons to scale right along link as he grows into a more powerful character and that is one of the MANY things that makes this game great.
3:16:37 it was my first thought the moment I saw the depths was its own area. This really is Subnautica for caving. I really wish there was a massive open world game like this and Subnautica but entirely underground with the darkness and unknown.
Master Kohga's entrance music is by far the best music I've heard in the game until this point
Eric: complains about inverted controls when flying

lmao that was a pain to watch knowing there was an easier way
This was an awesome stream. Hope to catch the next one tomorrow
Also the bokoblins in this game are way smarter, they came at you with a whole shield formation!
I love how when eric is struggling like 75% of chat is doing what he said not to do and telling him the answers and the other 25% is spamming a bunch of random shit to hide and and the sad part is the 25% is winning, those are the real ones
The depths is my favourite new addition to the game, don’t get me wrong the sky islands are awesome but holy shit the ambiance and aesthetic of the gloomy dark caves and the opportunities for exploration it offers is extremely fun to play around with.
5:24:50
This is the equivalent of when a rain cloud appears on someone’s head in a cartoon
gameplay begins at 11:32
this has been some of the most fun i have had watching youtube idk why im so invested keep it up
i had to miss out on this stream so time to be a vod frog :D i love watching him play this game so far, i cant wait to play it myself
I would like to thank you for having VoDs that last my whole Work Shift. Very helpful
Just finished 2nd vod now it’s time for this one
Fun fact about the depths, mountains on the surface are huge holes in the depths, one example is the Duelling peaks, instead of being 2 mountains down there it’s 2 huge holes. Same thing for holes on the surface being mountains in the depths, and water bodies on the surface are impassable walls you need to go around
sad i couldn't catch this live but enjoying watching this as i play basically playing a little ahead of where he video is and pausing it when he gets to stuff i haven't seen yet.
5:14:21 casually walks into a colosseum and meets King Ghidorah. What fun on this Friday afternoon.
1:13:07 I love that Link and Wortsworth are just hanging out talking about ancient Zonai stuff while just casually standing in water. Do they have socks or just bare feet in soles.
In the middle-ages people would stuff their shoes with straw or hair.
when the boss health meter came on the screen, i just started yelling "WHERE IS IT OH MY GOD WHERE IS IT" i am not mentally prepared for the rest of the depths
3:28:16 you have enough Crystallised Charges to upgrade your battery cells three times.
I really love long videos like these and I really enjoy your content, I would really want more of this kind of content
Pointcrow & Abby's friendship is so cute and they're such awesome friends to each other, it inspires me to make sure my friendships are as awesome as theirs is.
This is fr the first ever series of stress where I’ve watched every stream all the way through for hours

The temple of time goddess statue has to be the most time consuming, brain melting quest in the game.
Edit: Nevermind he got it way faster than I did, AND without a guide.
5:01:56 he completely walked past a steward and was wondering if there was something to do at the mine
Lol I like how he went past the bright caps 2-3 times and finally saw them.
I WAS IN THE DEPTHS FOR 4 DAYS STRAIGHT TRYING TO CONNECT THE KAKORIKO VILLAGE TO THE GREAT PLATEAU, AND BOY WAS IT ON LIGHT MODE
Most important part :
4:21:30 Abby takes over stream
I started playing a week after release and didn't spoil myself of anything than what the trailers showed. Saw these red circles on the map and was scared to even jump in because of the malice. Finally my curiosity made me jump in just to see what this was. Falling so far and ending up in a place in complete darkness and ominous sounds scared me immensely and it was so unexpected. But now having explored more it reminds me so much of the creepy, grimy and ominous Stranger Things' Upside down and the Nether + Not knowing what hides in the dark. I've come to love it and can't wait to explore it further. Zelda and creepiness is such a good match if done correctly, I don't remember being that creeped out by botw at all and had only experienced it with Oot and Majora. For the record I played them for the first time in 2015 and haven't played through TP or SS, oopsie.
I’ve not been able to play much yet, but I’ve been watching the lives through and I just wanted to say great streams. 🥳They have been a blast.
What brand capture card do you use? I love my elgato hd60x witha chatlink pro cable never have crackling.
This game looks fantastic
slowly but surely working through these vods lol rip timezones - very enjoyable tho!
The depths are so cool honestly... except that one time when I got highkey jumpscared by a giant blue frog thing xD
I think they are trying to make a universe with this serious next game will still include lovely hyrule, sky kingdoms, underground and next thing ya know in the next install we explore space looking areas n all other type of things that would be dope if that’s what theyre aiming for im enjoying this game so far
I love the long videos. I could watch them all day! I mean, I can watch them all day.
Totk is the closest we could get for terraria 3d, this game might not have mining and THE ANGLER, but having to travers sky islands, depth biome and overworld is cool ass shit bruh, and the amount of things to experement in this game makes this one of the biggest games or the biggest game ever made, the world itself is the proof. "Its not how wide it is, but how deep and high it goes " - FakeGamerGirl619
Pointcrow, I agree that the switch can do powerful and beautiful open world graphics, but you also gotta think about this game building off an engine and a overworld that was already developed over 6 years and also got further development of 6 years on top of that compared to SV having only a few years at most
Crow you can add rockets to your gliders to give them the extra boost they need to get off the ground
I love the poe statue with all those armors and weapons
1:56:30 Can you imagine trying to position an object in 3d space when the way in which you position it is also the way you see your environment. Turn screen upside down to flip an object. Also, hold this button down while you do it.
You can throw those glow pods!? I got lost in that cave for hours lol
Yes there's a shrine that teaches you how to trow items
i think the sudden rain putting out the pot was the thunder Gleeok, when it found you it began to storm, and if you notice the weather wheel, thats what it was, a "never ending" storm, but for some reason that was triggering. past that im clueless
I love your vids so much ps I watch you everyday on my way to school
I'm noticing a lot of first and second deaths in this LOZ generation, for the bosses and big bads at least... I wonder if that means anything, or is symbolic of anything...
the miners mask looks kinda plague docter-ish and i love it
2:55:00 I prefer the longer unedited stream VODs bc it's a great thing to have playing on one window while I'm at work. It really helps to pass the time. I honestly wish more streamers did what you did and posted full 10 hour VODs. 2 hours is too short lol.
45:40 my take is: the Zonai came from the sky, perhaps aliens, perhaps an advanced society in this world, whatever, and came down to the depths for mining.
I heard that the depths was fliped like with the locations of the lightroots and shrines, I has no idea about the names, thats pretty neat. Ive never realy paid it that much attention so I doubt I would have eveer noticed that
I think it would be cool if you did a video or two on trying to find the new armor sets.

9:19:45 BUILDING WITH LOGS?!?! *Has flashbacks of Fredrick*
The think the reason Scarlet and Violet is the way it is was because of 3 big factors:
1. Covid was horrible and most likely many of its developers worked at home or got really sick
2. Deadlines as for some big companies it would extremely hinder their production of games if they postponed one of their games and Pokémon is not an exception
3. Higher ups hammering the fact the game needs to be out even if it is their first time in open world games ( not ever company is going to get it right the first time! PLA was a semi attempt come compare to an actual attempt such as SV.)
I’m trying to think of this in another way than “They were doing it for the money” you can tell they really put effort into the game but these factors lead to the game not being very desirable to everyone, this is their first attempt so most likely the second attempt will be AMAZING! I get some people are joking but others aren’t and I just wanted to speak my mind about this topic! Also awesome stream, I’m watching it after the fact!
1) Many games - including TOTK - were developed during the lockdowns. That's not an excuse to release a shit game.
2) Deadlines should never take priority over making a decent game. Not an excuse.
3) See above.
They did it for the money. Stop making excuses for a greedy company releasing a buggy, ugly, boring cash grab.
@@sweatygoblin2335 Yet the same could be said for BotW and TotK yet if I say something you are 100% going to back it up and try to defend it. Bro sit down and let people have opinions you don’t have to jump at people being people! If they were TRULY in it for the money then why spend money on trying to update the game constantly? Why try and add Pokemon Home compatibility if they need to spend money on implementing it? Something in life are made with real feelings but do to unforeseen circumstances they come out bad. BotW was launched way before Covid and TotK was after so they had little interference.
I wonder if anyone will ever do a 100% lit up clearance on the bottom level speedrun
