Sony launched this updated Ultra mobile at CES 2018 and it's coming to the UK (£350) in February, as an O2 exclusive. Specs are similar to the standard Xperia XA2, but the XA2 Ultra boasts a bigger display and an updated front-facing camera. The primary lens has OIS built in, so you can shoot blur-free photos. Alongside it is a secondary wide-angle camera, for group shots and capturing landscapes.

Nice. Im waiting on it myself. Question, have you looked to see how much storage you can gain by deleting some of the Sony apps? And is there an issue with bloatware? I have not yet found where to purchase the 64gb model, perhaps when it is actually released. I am just wondering if moving apps to the sd card actually works on this phone, I know with most android phones once an app updates it ends up back on the phone storage. So, unfortunately, most apps basically can not be on the sd card. Just my 2 cents and questions. Thanks.

I've actually held one before. You definitely feel the weitght on your hands and it's very much on the heavier side. However, it gives you an amazing quality feel, and the weight feels very nice and comfortable in you hands. It's far better placed than a lightweight phone, and it brings instant gratification of quality the moment you pick it up.
I was lucky to get this phone for 225$ US dollars so I'm happy

sony has proprietary hi-res audio as well as a technology to send LDAC sound through Bluetooth in all their phones for many years now it also converted mp3 audio to highres using their proprietary algorithms.. now they made the technology opensource so new google phones will have it too. Sony always had great audio :-p am using my z5 premium still with a wh-1000x m2 with high res audio conversion from mp3 as well as playback of flac

No, it has electronic image stabilization
Is it worse than OIS?
Starfals It depends how well they optimize it. EIS does have the potential to beat OIS. Sony has been usually good at stabilisation anyway. This phone having EIS is not a huge problem.

I disagree, I never asked for an edged screen. The square form is very nice in my opinion. Only the bezels you can complain about. But good thing about them is that you don't make your screen dirty when holding the Phone while you make a video or picture.
