    Great review. I have a 2021 Scout Bobber and find the same issue with the clutch cable. Looking at suggestions from other Scout owners, the Barnett clutch cable seems to resolve the many issues you are experiencing. Trying to find one here in Oz otherwise may have to order it via Dean Speed in the US. Keep up the good work and stay safe on the roads. Cheers.

      Quick suggestion, get yourself a quickshifter. Hella fun and works AWESOME. Here's the part number to the one I purchased, ATQS 2 - VI1L2-CL OS. Annitori Racing makes them. Very easy to make adjustments and they have a lot of different shift points you can select from, or make your own shift points with their system. Easy to install as well.

    2021 here. Yes I have the same issue with the clutch. I’ve even had it fall out into neutral from 4 to 5. Also, get a louder exhaust, people will definitely notice and look for you if they can’t see you. 12:05

      Thanks Luke, that’s pretty wild mate, I’ve had a surprising amount of people come forward stating similar issues so I’m glad too hear it’s not just me 😅

    Great videos! Something I noticed: When listening through headphones, your voice and the bike sound goes into ''mono'' and only the music is ''stereo'' is that on purpose?

    • @EightyFiveTheRide
      @EightyFiveTheRide  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hey mate, no unfortunately not on purpose. I believe it’s due to the mic set up I’m running 🙌
      I’ll suss it out and upgrade if I need to 👍
      Thanks for the heads up

    Beautiful, beautiful bike and video, wow. Are they really only 5" mini apes, they look so much taller? I'm really thinking about upgrading to mini's, but didn't know they came in a 5", thought these could be the 8's or maybe 10's. Thanks so much if you could verify that and once again for such a glorious video. Great, great job and thanks in advance.

      Hey! Cheers mate! Much appreciated 🙏
      Yes they are definitely 5” mini apes form Indian 👍
      I believe the same bars that they run on the bobber twenty models.
      Thanks again for the support 🤙

    Awesome video dude
    I would like to ask if you recommend the Indian for a completely beginner or should go for a Rebel 500? Not sure what to do but I feld in love with your bike

    • @EightyFiveTheRide
      @EightyFiveTheRide  Год назад +1

      Thanks mate! appreciate it 🤙
      honestly if you are just starting out id definitely suggest something like the rebel 👍
      If your able, ideally sitting on and test riding a couple bikes is always a good idea!
      if an indian is your end goal, be patient, don't rush and enjoy the ride! you'll move up to an indian in no time 😎

    I recently installed a quickshifter on my 2021 Scout Bobber ABS. Hella fun and works AWESOME. Here's the part number to the one I purchased if anyone is interested, ATQS 2 - VI1L2-CL OS. Annitori Racing makes them. They work just like the factory one on my Yamaha R1. Very easy to make adjustments and they have a lot of different shift points you can select from, or make your own shift points with their system. Easy to install as well.

    • @EightyFiveTheRide

      Test ride both 🙌
      Although, I feel like the answer is pretty obvious 😜

      I was between this bike and the Harley nightster. The nightster special was at the Harley dealer for around 16-18 grand! Imagine how much the damn street bob would be. Went to an Indian dealer the very next day and got a used 21 scout bobber with low miles for thousands less than a brand new nightster. I think you get more bang for your buck in terms of entry level cruisers with the Indians now that the sportster 883 is no more. But if you want the bigger bike and bigger 114 go with the street bob

    Your complaints about the clutch... I hardly used the clutch... It shifts perfectly with just Rev matching.. No clunk nothing especially upshifting... Try to not clutch on an upshift.. Downshift is harder if you're not use to it... My clutch was never clunky as I'm Rev matching even with a clutch... Now I'm waiting on my spirt chief..

      Anthony Ralston I feel you brother, it works most of the time, still has its moments though. Rode all my life and never had any problems until now, it’s the inconsistency of the old school set up that’s frustrating.
      Thanks for watching 👍

      You shouldn’t have to do that I think is the point. Most people that can ride have the ability and skill to ride like that but being a new bike you shouldn’t have too. Hydraulic clutch 🙌
