    I sat on a regular scout bobber stock a little while ago and thought it was uncomfortable. I then sat on one with 10 inch mini apes and it was super comfortable. Currently attempting to trade my 2022 regular scout in for a 2022 bobber.

      Hopefully you don’t take too much of a loss. I rode the scout rogue with the mini apes too, it was an awesome bike as well

    It definitely feels like youre gonna slide right off the back, but after awhile you get used to it. Mine has custom shorty stainless pipes, intake and tune and it rips. I regularly bang it off the limiter at 8300 rpm and hit 130-140 on the highway. It's a Savage bike

    Definitely getting one soon, im 19 and had a ninja 400 since last september but the past 3-4 months have really been wanting a cruiser, wanting to get away from sport bikes a bit. have done a lottt of research into the scout bobber and other bobbers and this is definitely what i want. hopefully i’ll get used to seating position quick haha, only thing i’m worried about

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  Год назад +1

      The 400 is a great starter bike. As for the seating position, I did ride the rouge too and the seat was much better on it I was able to ride it without the feeling off flying off everyone I gave it a little extra gas. I just need to edit the vid there were some decent trade offs between the two but both fun bikes

    • @jamwatah
      @jamwatah Год назад +3

      @@ScoutsOut I got my scout bobber last week and have been riding and have about 4-5 hours riding time so far, i gotta say i love it. the seat feels fine as of now and i’ve gotten used to everything super quick. for now probably gonna leave the stock seat as is until i feel like i need a better one. the suspension isn’t the best but my rides only last 30 mins to an hour at most at a time so it’s not that big of an issue, will definitely get better suspension as soon as i can

    @Scouts Out did you know in Europe they offer a "Adrenaline Pack" for the Yamaha R7? I picked up the Gilles Tooling rearsets with the R7 logo on them designed for the "Adrenaline Pack"

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  Год назад +1

      yea, Yamaha has been putting out lots of videos on the new packs for different bikes they are promoting, the Gilles rear sets look nice

  • @LuckyOctober
    @LuckyOctober Год назад +2

    Hey @Scouts Out ! I was hoping you would have a video on the Yamaha R7 Rearsets?? By the way I am absolutely loving my R7 !!! I've only put about 200 kilometers on it so far. First mods I did was adjust the ergonomics the clutch and brake lever and then I got the frame sliders and next is the rearsets. I am tall and the stock peg position makes it SUPER difficult for me to shift UP gears. I have a hard time shifting up lol

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  Год назад +1

      Congrats on the bike bro, I just got the rearsets I’m hoping to put them on this weekend and get the vid out the next if I can get it edited fast enough. I went for the attack performance and they are really nice

    When I first looked at bikes as a beginner, the Vulcan S was at the top of my list. Bike felt too small and too small of an engine. I bought a Vulcan 900 Classic. I'm bored with the power. The Scout (not the 60) has usable power. That liquid cooled engine has so much pep. You're right, it's more of a fun bike.

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  Год назад

      Right on, good to hear. I really just appreciated the nimbleness of the Vulcan but i would totally get the scout over it. I also rode the rouge and it was a lot of fun as well, i would have liked to ride the 60 just to try it out but i know i would go for the bigger motor if i was to get one.
