I have not done this with binding (I would hate to cover good material up)but I have done this with old hangers, (such as old wire ones from drycleaners which I use double) and use old tees, or unwanted clothing which is still looking okay. These days it is called upcycling, but whatever, it stops clothes from slipping off as well. Thanks for all your videos Laura, I always keep an eye out for your tips and demos. Always so clearly presented.
So lovely! Hello and I hope you had a bright and happy day. I just got to sit down and this day has been unusual. I'm very grateful for this time to watch. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Thank you for posting your video and your talent.
We did this at my Sewing Guild meeting and it took about one package of purchased binding. If you wrap it very close together it will take more. Hope this helps.
Thank you, another super cute tutorial. Wrapped a hanger this morning! Finished in less than 10 minutes. My type of project. Worked very well and Sew very easy!!
I have used yarn to wrap around my hangers. If they have those little hooks on them I break those off! I like the looks of the binding. Will be doing that next! Great idea!
What a cute idea! Plus, you could do this with leftover Grosgrain ribbon! :)
Great idea for hangers. Thank you for your videos with my level of quilting and the energetic but soothing presentation.
Could you use leftover yarn from project too? That sounds like a super cool idea!!!!!
Yes, you can! Can you single crochet? Very easy. If not, try just wrapping the hanger! Good luck
That is a great idea Laura. Thank you
Great idea 💜
Great no- sew idea!Love it!
You must have seen my closet with the sleeveless shirts that fell on the floor. I can’t wait to wrap some hangars!
Great idea, thanks for posting!

Great project for beginning sewers. Perfect kids camp activity!! Thanks
BRILLIANT! My aunt used to crochet onto hangers for the same reason. This is awesome! Thank you.
Nice! I've seen crocheted hangers but this is 1st wrapped hanger. Have to try this especially for slacks & soft/slipper blouses.
