Leszek felt bad about taking the brush away from Garrett, so he gave him a pigeon!
That really cracked me up.
Haha yes! 🤣🤣
I love the table and like another said, that iconic blue color but those chairs...Ick! That fabric is hideous when contrasted with such a beautiful table.
Stunning, as always!
That colour will forever be known as "Joe's" blue!
He will be famous for that too, as well as for his impeccable taste in choosing you to make his table!
Yes it will haha. And yes, we're so happy he chose us to build that table for him!
You also would never catch me asking people moving this heavy stuff in to remove their boots. The customer can swiffer afterwards
15 dudes trying to all kick their shoes off at once while carrying a very large table is my laugh of the week. Because I've been there.
We're glad you understand our struggles 😆
Wow! Just wow! Another stunning piece of functional art masquerading as furniture. Your client will not regret her decision. Wise choice. Thank you for sharing this with the world.
Thank you for watching!
Y’all have quite the dance moves to get those tables through the narrow spots. It’s a very beautiful table.
We sure do!🤣
Thanks so much!
i been watching your business change direction with the tables, doors and epoxy resin inlays, fabulous stuff and growing all the time
i just been watching a channel with a very sweet boat being built, they purchased a table and i nearly laughed, not to my personal liking, ok does have a logo inlaid but thats as exciting as it gets, so i have recommended you
i am a tad surprised at the man handling going on, and these table seem to be getting bigger, its about time you guys invested in something to handle the weight, even getting up steps and through doorways, there are devices to handle full windows you know that you can trust and rely on, you can still have a crew to assist but otherwise in most cases can get out the way - watching the fiasco of getting inside was a little like a car crash waiting to happen
Love the way the chairs match
Gorgeous table! I would like to suggest you develop a better method though of transporting the table from the trailer/van to the home. Something maybe with straps underneath and allow the guys to lift without killing their backs. I think it would be more controllable as well. 👍
Yeah, I did cringe a little. Window suckers would be amazing, as well as a dolley with soft wheels. Nice table though!!
Beautiful, as always ... have a fantastic New Year guys and see you in 2024 👍
Happy New Year! We can't wait to see what 2024 has in store for us!
The table is amazing!!!
Another lucky client that owns a piece of BFWC's artwork. You guys do a phenomenal job. Happy New Year to all of BFWC's families - stay safe and can't wait to see what 2024 brings.
Thank you so much! We can't wait either!
Lovely table
Thanks Patrick!
Beautiful table.
Thanks so much!
Beautiful.
Love it!!! Cant afford one or have space for it but love it!
Thanks so much 😊
Beautiful table, that iconic blue is hard to beat, I also like the smokey transparent resin. Happy New Year Dylan, Brad, Charlie and everyone at Black Forest Wood Co. 🙏🎊🥳❤️🎆🎈✨⭐️🎇🌠❤
Thank you as always Maddie! Happy New Year!
Excellent job, beautiful timber. Finished table is superb.Been following you guys for a few years now and the work just keeps getting better and more challenging. You always seem to pull it off, you might think about showing us something that went wrong but I doubt that happens too often. Happy New Year to all the team, looking forward to 2024. Cheers Michael.
The team needs to think about using straps to lift it will save your back. lifting by hand only on stairs. they move pianos this way
Another awesome table!!
Thank you David!
Wow mate, bloody brilliantly awesome table. One of my favourites.
Couple of things;
Have you considered using movers straps? These are used to move heavy objects (like tables and doors) whilst assisting in not damaging your backs.
Also think movers mini dolleys could help too…..
The way you all lift, carry and lower heavy pieces will cause damage - you may not feel it now, but you will….
Have a great and prosperous 2024 😁
Haha we really should, we've discussed moving straps before! Thanks so much, Happy New Year!
Fantastic work, fantastic table!!! Appreciate seeing the process from start to finish. Thought the Christmas village house was a goner when a team member brushed by it. I'm sure the team could have built a better replacement. Thanks for always proving outstanding content and letting the world see how talented the team is. Keep on with the great work!!!
Haha luckily the village didn't sustain any damage! Thanks so much John!
I LOVE YOU GUYS! YOU ALL TEACH ME THE TRUE IMPORTANCE OF GREAT CRAFTMANSHIP! KEEP ON DOING IT, FELLAS! AND HAPPY NEW YEARS TO YALL! THE TABLE IS FABULOUS AS ALWAYS! BFW DON'T PLAY!
AWW YEAH! BRING MORE PIGEONS!! LOVE THEM. (LOVE CHARLIE TOO! I LOVE ANIMALS PERIOD!)
Thank you so much Dottie! Happy New Year 😁🎆
@@dottiemathews6853 Haha, we'll show more animals in 2024!
Don't think I would trust anyone else to make that table. It's absolutely perfect. But I can't see the vision of those chairs in that space.
Beautiful looking table. I hope all of you and Charlie have a Happy 2024 New Year
Thank you! Charlie and I wish the same for you 🎆
I love that midnight blue base layer, absolutely gorgeous!
Wishing all at Black Forest a Happy New Year 🎉 x
Thank you Derek! We wish you the same 🎉
Between the burl and the blue epoxy, it kinda looks like the earth!
Man that looked heavy. Happy New year all!
It was 😅
Happy New Year Terry!
Black out the edges of the bottom pads. I know they won’t be seen, but now I know they are there. 😊
Beautiful table. The chairs aren’t my style but as long as your client is happy, that’s what matters! Happy New Year to you all.
Thanks Laura! Happy New Year!
Nice Table!
Always love these the blue is great as well!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years boys!
Happy holidays, thank you Jake!
Beautiful job guys! Merry Christmas and happy new year to all of you !
Thanks so much! Happy holidays 😄🎊
It’s fantastic and lots of hard work.
Thanks so much!
Stunning!!
Absolutely another amazing table. Amazing work by your hole team 👏👏👏 Happy New Year to you all can’t wait to see what you guys do in 2024 🎉🎊🍾
We can't wait to see either 😁
I'm a pigeon fan too . My Opa bred homing pigeons and Eurasian collared doves .
Very cool! They're very nice birds
Such a gorgeous piece! It really compliments the space well. Well done!
Thank you so much!
beautiful table! I would only use black felt instead of white felt under the legs.
Absolutely stunning!
Thank you Sharon!
Beautiful piece merry Christmas and happy new year to you all
Thank you! Happy New Year to you too!
Happy New Year. Beautiful table
Thank you Steve! Happy New Year!
Great looking table, nice work. Happy New Year
Happy New Year! Thank you!
Gorgeous table. And great job getting it into the home via the small doorway and walkway. I imagine your backs were in pain after that. Happy New Year!
Thank Eugene, I think it was actually our arms hurting more than anything haha, Happy New Year!
@@BlackForestWoodCo well I do hope the arms recover well to create more awesome stuff. I look forward to the first video of 2024.
@@EugeneOkumu See you next Friday for our first video of 2024! 😁
I cannot wait@@BlackForestWoodCo ! 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿
Looking good, happy new year 👍🎆
Thank you Johnny!
Beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful. Añother gem from your amazing team
Thanks so much!
Being from the land of pigeon racing, someone who flies homing pigeons is called a pigeon fancier.
Very good to know, thanks!
Great table. Nice work. Can you please next time get black felt pads versus the white. All I see is the gorgeous table and white felt pads. Thanks.
Beautiful table keep up the nice work
Thanks Bernie! We sure will!
Another beautiful table!!!
You guys really need to buy the little wheeled carts that countertop installers use. I get those tables are big and heavy, but it shouldn't be a 8 man job lol.
You should look into the rolling “dolly” that granite installers use to bring in granite countertops.
Well done again.
Thanks Fred!
The table rocks Dylan!
Thank you Timothy!
That wood looks good enough to eat... in the figurative sense.
Table looked heavy af. Glad you guys had Hodor helping you. That guy is a unit! 😂
Well done as always
Thank you Dan!!
Great job, beautiful table no doubt. The only 'small' critique would be with using those white spacers on the floor under the legs, should have used black to blend in a lot more.
That said, fabulous build/quality and engineering if I can say that.
Hi - just beautiful!!! Keep going!!!
Of course we will, thanks Mike!
The only thing I would change about that table is the location. It would look much better in my house! Happy New Year!
Amazing table, hate those chairs though haha
Well done🙏🙏🙏
That a lovely colour
It's one of our favs! Thanks Mike!
Another super job well done!! I really like the design. The wood pieces look sort of like islands in an ocean. Just wondering if you used something to blacken the stick on leveling pieces that you put on the bottom of the legs. The white really stood out against the black.
Wishing you all a Happy and safe New Year!
Great table as always guys. The only feedback I have is to try to find black furniture pads for the bottom of the base. They are an eye sore if they’re too close to the edge with the contrasting colors and black would blend in well with the black base! Curious if there’s any reason you’re not already using black furniture pads. 12:37
This was my only gripe as well. So much work to the table for the off-white felt pads to distract from it.
Totally agree, just nuts to use something which will stick out like a sore thumb ... especially when you've just paid $30k for it!!
Why was it uneven to begin😂 with
@@aetorres7422 could be the floor that’s not level.
I agree with the previous comments. The table is fantastic. The chairs are ugly.
Pekná práca!
The table looks great. I’m not crazy about the chairs.
Beautiful table it would have been nice to have a full view of it
Cada trabalho, mais perfeito que o outro 👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷
Beautiful table, one small detail I would want that most would not care but the white spacers under the legs, I’d want those in black if they were available
Amazing work as always, curious if you've found any sort of self levelling feet or adjustable threaded foot pads that can be used with a setup like the x-base or if the weight of the resin makes those impractical?
Beautiful table. Would have used black spacers underneath the legs. The white spacers do not look good.
Beautiful table, but we could never have that in our house. 600+ pounds, plus all the people sitting there... our floor would cave in 😂
Haha, you definitely need strong floors for a table like this 🤣
This would have been so cool of the wood was cut/arranged to look like a flattened world map. Maybe use a lighter wood for the poles?
May I suggest some type of custom made wheeled carts for hauling the slabs into homes. You guys are really smart and can devise something you will be using for years. I'll bet you could come up with something that would help with stairs. Even a portable ramp. That looked dangerous walking by the glass wine cooler and Christmass decorations.
May I also suggest these designers and insistent home owners quit putting in glass wine storage areas. UV rays destroy wines. I believe it breaks down an enzime in the wine which can release sulpherous compounds imparting an unpleasent odor and taste. There is a reason for cool dark wine cellars
Absolutely beautiful work as always! I can't stand the polyurethane finish on a table, takes away the beauty of it!
Love the table and the blue color. Did you also add drops of black dye as well to the mix? I would like purchase all the product and try and replicate it. I just don’t want to miss anything. Also not sure if you would say but what were your ratios if filling a 5 gallon bucket?
Beautiful table. STUNNING. However...invest $2 CAD in a black Sharpie and color the leg pads black. Please!
Hope the floor is reinforced lol looks great
Beautiful work - what is the black stain that you use for the base?
Great looking table. The leveling pads should have been black. The white sticks out like a sore thumb. 👍👍
Do you ever consider taking along stands for intermediate resting spots? And then you have to wind your way past the village‽ 10:27
For the sealer and top finish, are there products you would recommend for the hobbyist where a full spray booth isn't an option? I'd like to replicate the finish you used, but was going to seek out aerosol spray cans. Any brands I should stay away from, or any I should definitely try?
Great video. I really like the table. I realize the owner's chairs are the right colors but the patterns in the fabric of those chairs don't really flow with the table. If you look at the table, it has a sereen look to it, all most having a calming effect. The chairs, at least for me, are too busy and draws your gaze to the chairs and not the table.
Does the weather affect the tables you make? Do you get any warping or cracks in it? Thanks for posting.this video. You should feature one employee per week. They build these beautiful tables and it would be great to know them a little better. How's Charlie doing?
Thanks so much!
The weather can, but usually since our tables and doors are indoors there are no issues, the only time there would be possible issues is if the owner lives very close to the ocean (or somewhere very high in humidity) and they keep windows or doors open constantly. That's a really good idea, some of the guys are a little camera shy but I'll try and get them to do it! Charlie is doing great, thanks for asking!
I wonder if you could tell me the polyester resin used to seal before the top coat, . . . it's a brand you can spray?
Would it help to put blue Loctite on the screws where the base attaches to the table?
I am curious about sanding. In your tables when pouring the first and second layer of resin, are any steps taken to reduce the amount of dust/lint and other floaters in the air from landing on the resin? Just wondering if this is an issue where you can see them in the resin?
You all need a better way of moving heavy items. Like a rolling cradle that has straps and padding to keep it upright and secured as you maneuver it.
Beautiful walnut not Keen on the blue think purple or another colour would be nicer ! Agree the chairs are awful with it
Very nice, but the white floor pads on the legs stick out bad (in the video) Could not find black ones? Awesome work as always. Look forward to the next one!
Maybe just a black marker ?
Why don’t you have the cnc route out the pockets for the steel plates?
12/30/23 MRZ-1 (TN) Dylan, no ""CHARLIE"" ?????????????????? Happy New Year to everyone @ Black Wood Co.
We'll get him in our next video!
you guys need to invest in some trollies for installs! if you have any recommendations reach out. (I'm in the precast concrete benchtop business)
GORGEOUS piece, but the chairs really detract from the overall beauty of it!!!! Brown leather would really go well with it.
Thumbs up on the table and thumbs down on the chairs. What were they thinking that it would go with the table?
Salut
