the option to keep strike craft and potentially firgattes docked to the MS should be in the launch menu, but I would not put it past gearbox if they forgot that feature

Minelayers were actually in Homeworld Cataclysm
Minelayers were in Homeworld 1. You had them unlocked pretty early. I know you had them by the time of the mission in the irradiated system where you had to use the asteriod belts to protect your ships from the radiation. Always picked up the Hvy Cruiser and 2 Destroyers there, made the following missions ridiculously easy with that firepower unlock so early.

Ouch. Lady. That’s my childhood. Imogen’s too. You’re gunna get seriously messed up for that deeply accurate and hard hitting line.
(If you can’t listen to Barber’s Adagio for Strings without breaking into tears, you know what button to press. Karak will be forever burning.)
Karen would have still been fleet command, she was already unbound and she was already linked to the 2nd core. I dont get this womans point other than that history would have taken a different path if the low orbit atmospheric deprivation weapon had not been used on Kharak, the Kushan were already going to Hiigara they had the Guide stone, they would have still had to fight the Taidani empire, im finding the story of this game really hard to warm to
It would not be out of the ordinary for a game of this magnitude, to have this queen be the navigator they are looking for. Enjoying your content as always.
I love this series, specificity cuz you cut out all those unnecessary down time between missions. Thank you for that saves time and keeps it's enjoyable
Battlefleet Gothic Armada 2 have asteroids as potential anomaly during battles. Diffrence is in BGA2 asteroids come from above.

Something seems off the scenes involving Imogen and the Queen.
Poor writing? Flat voice acting? Poor lip snyching? CGI not holding up in closeups? I can't quite figure it out, but they just seem distractingly "off".

Ah, Gearbox is building up to make Brothers in Arms: Glory Road. But still, like when Nintendo pulled staff off of Smash Bros to make Kid Icarus Uprising in the Smash Bros game engine, it hurt them. The bad press from Smash (4?) lacking a story mode nailed the coffin on the Wii U.

3:55 Snort. You didn't play the original Homeworld game then? As this mission somewhat resembles a mission in that game. Though we couldn't move the Mothership in that mission and had to blast asteroids before they hit it.
I loved that mission since it was VERY resource rich. IF you had the forces to make it trivial that is. LOL
Not to take anything away from Homeworld, but a lot of the 3D space stuff you've said is unique to Homeworld is also present in Battlestar Galactica Deadlock. Have you ever played it?

I know youtube hates long form content but I'm willing to bet the amount of interest in this game especially in the first week of release would see numbers skyrocket for you. Although long form is frowned upon by youtube that is only if watch lengths aren't retained. Right now with the interest in this game I don't think that would be an issue and you are racing against the clock as it were. If you've got the time to make these entries in this series a little longer I believe it would be worth it for the channel. I know I'd watch them and instead of snacks, I'd be sitting back watching them as the main course. You know like movies back when they were entertaining.

Why does this game's story feels like really bad Netflix original. They should have stuck with Karin as fleet command, Imogen is just BAD in every way. The switch was really unnecessary

Yeah, not only is the villain laughably bad, but the our new fleet command is downright annoying and extremely incompetent by comparison to Karin. I wish they just stuck with her as main protagonist, the switch was unnecessary
