Wait until you see some of the coming episodes. The trusty 300 holds its own against the bigger bikes over 3000km of adventure. Including lots of long high speed sections of outback tracks.
Nice mate, stopped at the Cockburn pub on the way to Cape York, got a beer which l gagged on, asked what is this beer mate and the Barman and three old timers said Southvark, quickly downed it and spewed it up in the Carpark. Just went through the ranges up to Birdsville as we were going form Omeo in Vic to the York and back in 4 weeks.
Really loved the new format telling the story as you ride and your change in tone/narration voice is really engaging double thumbs up. Very similar to my recent trip too so it was great to watch this episode. Looking forward to more.
Welcome to our backyard mate. Great video loved the editing and your quirky sense of humour as usual lol. Unfortunately I was not there to greet you I am in Greece having a go at the TET with another 300 rally, I think I have an addiction. Can’t wait for the next 🍿.
Another awsome Shonky adventure. We love going to the Flinders via Waukaringa but I've not yet found the entry to the underground workings. Must spend a bit more time there when I get a chance. Looks very interesting. The Flinders is adveture bike nirvana.❤
Good 👍 vid mate , 8 off us done ✅ the Flinders last September, we were guided around by a Fella named Stuart ( he has organised the Flinders classic the last 5 years or so and a gun 🔫 rider ) he took us WAY out of some riders comfort Zone . I was thinking 🤔 it was going to be a ADV ride ( mistaken more enduro 😂😂😂) km after km of creek bed and Mount Samual loop thrown in . That hill you road up a few of the guys did that day one ☝️. One ☝️ of the reasons I brought a CRF 300 Rally mate ! lighter “ as a wise ADV rider once said no one complains about smaller and lighter just bigger and heavier 👌. We had a fella on a GS 800 that had basically never 👎 ridden off road much by day 8 his bike was pretty much totalled from multiple offs and he was no condition to ride either. I felt bad as I said it would be ADV riding 😂😂😂. We at 2 XT 660s, Husky 701 , 2 CRF 1000 A/T , KTM 790 , SWM 650 Superduel and the GS800. I going to ride to WA next year maybe 🤔 on my Rally . Love you work
Wow, sounds like an awesome time. The next episode will be more like an enduro ride with creek beds and big mountains. we all did pretty good but the CRF 300 made it easy and fun!
So now that all the camera footage was shared with you, you should be able to get a few dollars from OnlyFans, otherwise some ransom money for the safe return or deletion 🤣
I was thinking about that, but after reviewing the footage... maybe the "Embarrassing Bodies" series might be interested? It will definitely have a high cost for deletion!
Great video, really like the commentary style, looking forward to the next episodes
Looks awesome, and again proves that you don't really need any more than the trusty 300 😉

Mad Max 1 and 2.... in the 1% of top movies ever produced!
Good one Shonky, know hill no 2 well...have passed it many times and will continue to do so😂👍
I've done it both ways but the way he did is the easier way IMHO
Great to see you back in the saddle on another adventure. Look forward to watching this unfold👍
Good one! Great riding and great scenery!

Hi Tony, great to hear from you. Enjoy your trip and we need to discuss more rides.

Email me and I'll give you directions to the mine entrance.
If no Victorian joined the ride, did the ride really happen??? Great video mate 🙂 Stay upright!
Haha... You'll have to join us when we head down to the High Country next!

@@ShonkyProductions I’m a believer “ lighter is better and WAY more fun 🤩
@@ShonkyProductions yes 👍 I would have loved doing it on the Rally “ next time “
Thanks for sharing - silly question, what was the biggest bike anyone took on that ride? The T7?
Dave rode his KTM990. He is a mad man.. he can ride that bike anywhere. We had: CRF300 Rally, 2 x DR650, 2 x T7, KTM625 and KTM990.
Which adventure x tower did you put on? The enduro or the rally?
I put the Rally on, but I have put a custom screen on it for more wind protection.
How many miles are on Dave’s bike I’m curious
Over 100,000 now. I'm sure he will reply with the exact number.
Hmmm thats different not to many bike utoobers filming this run.
