Was a brilliant ride - brilliantly organised. I got to learn alot about my new crf450 as you promised. Going to have to soften up the suspension, i was getting bounced everywhere. pulled muscles in my neck and everything hahaha. Will be there for the next! with Extra water and a pocket Jethro. Swear to god next time it will be one fluid motion!!! hahaha its unfinished business.
Really like the new intro! Looked like a great ride with some gnarly downhill sections. Awesome to see the guy on the DR breeze through every obstacle like it was nothing. Keep up the good work and cheers from the USA!
Wow 😮 mate you never disappoint. Great video great trails. Very similar to some of the trails I just did in Tasmania, though one of the hills seems to be on another level. I will have to come and have a look. So you have nearly deposed me from my title of Tony RDR extreme attrition tours 😂. Well done mate.
What amazing tracks ! I miss the gear driven cam of my old 250L. I rode that for 5 years in tracks just like this. Cogent suspension and proper gearing made it perfect. Sadly someone else thought it was perfect for them too so they stole it. I love my DR but if my CRF wasn’t stolen I’d still be rippin it. Great video thanks
Voice of experience here, was doing this sort of stuff in the mid 70's and you are guaranteed to have problems and delays the more riders there are, especially in this tough terrain. I would avoid all public holiday weekends due to the 4WDs but when you are working its hard to get around this issue. You had some decent riders in that group so it was relatively easy. One note of concern, that fellow who rode your bike up the hill without a helmet is asking for trouble. Even at very low speeds you need a helmet and I would be enforcing that requirement.
Looks like a fun loop made for a 300 Rally 👍 I like how at the beginning everyone babies to the left of a mud hole and old mate sends it straight through. Stupid, yet I can't help but admire the commitment 😅
Have you got a video on your suspension? I'm assuming it's upgraded? That's the hardest I've seen a crf being ridden since I've started looking at buying one
@ShonkyProductions few good spots here in Parkes where I ride might be a bit difficult on anything bigger then a 650 for an average rider lol my 525 loves it when I remember to turn my fan on 🤣
Love the 890 giving it a good crack. Thats what adv bikes are for .
Yes, he did everything. Great rider.

Thanks for all your help Luke. Jethro was a legend as usual.
Have to agree with the “unfinished business” part…I definitely want another crack at it. Thanks for all your help on the day Luke!
@@andyross1880 Keep a look out for SHAT.2
I agree Sean , that section around 11 minutes in was fantastic! I think that I might actually have been able to do it. "Get a Honda!"
You'll have to give it a crack next time Bill 👍
I live in the States, I can only dream of tracks like that.@@ShonkyProductions
@@billcotton1551 you might need to come Down Under for some real adventure riding!

Haha... Thanks Tony. Definitely let me know when you're up this way and I'll give you a person SHAT ride.
Looked fantastic. No CRF's damaged.
Yes, it was a fantastic ride. No CRFs were damaged in the making of this video.

Sucks that your bike was stolen.
Good seeing the WR250s out. I wish Yamaha didn't stop production of them.
Yeah, they are great bikes. I had one and crossed the Simpson Desert on it.
Great entertainment right there!
Thanks, great to hear you enjoyed it.
Great vid ! If it weren’t for Covid I would have been there
Hope I can join the next one
Don't worry there will be another one soon. At least you know what you're in for.
Great video
Tgank you
Thanks for watching
Fantastic video Sean as always, highly entertaining. Would love to join you on the next one ... 901 or 350 🤔
The 901 will make it if you're up to it 👍

All good points.
That looked fun, way beyond my level though!
Yes, there was a warning attached to the invitation!
Spewing I missed joining you, there was a lack of DRZ400's, will keep an eye out for the reverse loop coming soon.
6.00, Well said x 10.

The very first rider got stuck in it and then the DR650 just blasts through! 💪
I did the bottle top fix on my left side plastics. Can't believe how well it's worked.
Shonky Approved 👍
Thanks Shonky for a great day! First ride after a 18mth hiatus and got to the end in mostly one piece 😂🎉 - Al
Great effort Al, thanks for coming.
Awesome video mate 🇦🇺💪👍 where was my invite looks like awesome fun ?👍❤️😂
Thanks. Invite was on multiple Facebook groups. Hunter Dual Sports (HDS) is my local riding group.
All trails I used to hit in my Suzuki Sierra ❤
The little Suzuki would have been great in them too!
@@ShonkyProductions much like bikes, the little ones like the tricky stuff
There's something seriously wrong with people for going on your rides. lol Thanks for the entertainment!
I know!
Gooe gritty challenge Shonky, just what the doctor ordered
That's definitely what we deliver!
hi mate great tracks , location info would be great , cheers
The ride was between Freemans Waterhole and Ourimbah NSW

MY suspension was setup by a local suspension tuner, Pro-Moto Suspension. No video on it sorry.
That's all good, cheers for the reply
Are you happy with it? Did they replace it or just change the springs?
@@JoshSinnott97 I love it. The re valved and re sprung both ends.
Thanks mate, that's great to hear! 🙂
I'd be up for the NOT so Hard Shonky tour
Haha... There will be other Shonky Tours of a more relaxed style in the future.

Hows the stage 4 and gearing in this environment?
It works great... It tractors up anything! And still good for freeway.
@ShonkyProductions makes me happy about my choice. My first 60 km on the stage 4 has it flaming out at idle. Did you have any issues with this?
Is this in the Watagans?
ok yes . i know the tower
@@abrdave Yes, we rode from Freemans Waterhole to Ourimbah.
