      Hey Shawn, Yeah, for sure those trails in that area are really fun and you can always find some cool spots down by the creeks!
      That’s what we were thinking about the grizzly most likely got hot, blew the head gasket!
      It was pumping coolant out the exhaust pipe, that’s not good!
      It sucked. He wasn’t able to ride with us the next day.
      Thanks for checking out the video buddy!

    I have a 2020 Grizzly and that plastic timing plug got loose on mine as well. I discovered the problem when I noticed milky oil in the crankcase when I checked the oil. I had been riding in water just over the floorboards prior to that. Apparently the water got sucked in around the loose plug. I tightened the plastic plugs and changed oil and filter. No more problems so far. It’s one of those things that Grizzly owners should check from time to time. A metal plug would be better that could be tightened a bit more.

    • @kcatv9556
      @kcatv9556  11 месяцев назад

      Hi there, Yup good idea to keep an eye on that plug. Make sure it’s not getting loose. Plastic plug is not a good idea either like you say metal would have been better.
      Good thing you caught yours and got the oil changed.
      Hopefully you’ll be good from here on out. Thanks for checking out the video and dropping a comment!

    I had an old Kodiak 400 that overheated because the water pump came apart. Put a new water pump on it and then drove 5 hrs to a weekend ride out of state, only to have it do the same thing as that 23 Grizzly when I got there, blowing water out the exhaust due to a bad head gasket from whenever it overheated. Not sure why it ran fine at the house before I loaded it on the trailer. Threw a new head gasket on the next weekend and it ran perfectly again. That kind of stuff sure can ruin a weekend though.

    • @kcatv9556
      @kcatv9556  10 месяцев назад

      Hi Tristan, Yeah, for sure that type of stuff can ruin a weekend.
      I’m sure if Tim’s machine overheated pretty good since it was pumping water out the exhaust pipe when we started it.

    Super nice view 55 seconds in! Wow! Loved the river spot around the 5 minute mark. Is there any fish in there?!
    Crazy CF-Moto tipping over. Looks like he was riding that wall pretty high. What was he thinking? 😂 I'm glad it was nothing too serious, though. Live and learn, move on. We all do.

    That was a great ride! I am with you on having to take anything that looks like a trail or less traveled. I have often found some cool things at the other end besides a dead end, plus who could argue with it being more adventurous. That one spot where the CFMoto was on its side was crazy. Glad you guys figured out what was the best way through.
