What will happen if I do this with cats? I’m thinking of removing my 3rd one but I don’t really wanna remove the first 2 cuz I wanna still pass emissions
You Can give your cats back on car when you go to emission test
Should be fine since the fuel is mostly being ignited from the back of the exhaust. None of the flames should really reach your cats. If it were more of a 2-step system or flame map that would be something to worry about
Your rear O2 and cats are going to get saturated with fuel. The combustion might not be happening before the tip but it can still burn before the tip if the exhaust is hot enough. You are throwing a bunch of unburnt fuel into your exhaust so you will throw a rich code if your O2 sensor reads all the fuel and your cats with slowly start to get damaged over time. It's mostly ment for straight piped vehicles.
So it still shoots massive flames even tho your spark plug farther than 8-10 inches? I have a tomei and it would be like 12-14 inches back for me
Wasup bro I’m just curious, if I already have a tune and get small back fire currently, and get the spark plugs to spark, would that increase the backfire into a flame ? Or does the flame kit spark plug have to be ignited by straight fuel ?
You will need straight fuel, you can however tune the car to dump fuel and then have a remote wire or grounding switch for a spark plug. That will work also

I have the same kit on my 370z with test pipes, but I can only get it to pop and spit flames like a quick flash what can I do to hold the flames
Accelerate, press and hold button, and while you’re still holding the button, press down on the gas pedal to add fuel to the exhaust

So my car is in the shop getting one of these flamethrower kits installed my exhaust setup right now is a res delete, cats delete and I got a fat 5” HKS performance muffler on a single exit setup but I’ve been told by the shop that they need to cut the muffler or it’ll blow the whole muffler? But I’m watching your video and our mufflers are very similar and I don’t see it being a problem on your whip so far with the flamethrower kit.. they recommended tips after a full straight pipe, what do you think?
If you have a straight through muffler I’d assume it would be fine
Can’t I just go to my ignition coil fuse box and intercept one of the wires to connect the top and bottom prongs? Or no

Rev, hold the button, give it gas while holding the button, then let off of the button before the RPM’s drop below 1500RPM’s, then repeat

What exhaust setup do you run?
Hollowed out cat, stock resonator, then welded a $45 Amazon resonated exhaust tip to the end. Out of all of the vq’s I’ve heard, this was my favorite sounding exhaust

Where can I get these installed? I’m tryna order mine but got no clue how to install and I don’t wanna mess things up around even after watching so many videos
If you watch the whole video I explain exactly how to do it. Unless you want to pay an auto shop $500 to do it.
Do you keep it in gear when ur driving or do u change to neutral then rev while ur driving

So you have to press that red button so flames come out or i am just dumb

How did your hollowed out cats not cause a check engine light?
Idk, the 03 and 04 Z’s aren’t as sensitive to electrical codes. But a check engine light did come on when I used the flame button too much. I just used a code clearer on it regularly. But just because the check engine light comes on, doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with the car

is your res blown out cause i put my spark plug where you did it is wired right cause i hear it sparking but it wont do anything i got no cats the only thing i can think is my resonator is holding back some fuel

@@riversegura8654 my exhaust still had the stock resonator and resonator tip. But I didn’t have cats. If you still have your cats, then it won’t work
@@joewalter28 yea my cats are gone so I'll have to figure something out then cause my old exhaust had the stock cats but after some time it blew them out and the kit was working just fine

I don’t, but just look up the ignition wiring diagram for an 08 350z and it should tell you what the color of the 12v ignition wire is

I have Valtronic mufflers will it work?
If you place the spark plug behind the muffler, then idk if the flames will melt the electronics or damage the valves, but if you’re going to do it that way just make sure the valves are open. But if the muffler is behind the spark plug, then you shouldn’t have a problem with damaging ur valtronic system

That’s kinda the purpose of the video lol
i cant find the wire for 370z any recommend?
Just look up “370z ignition wiring diagram” then when you find the diagram, look for the 12V ignition wire. It should tell you the color of it. If there are multiple, just follow the steps I used in the video
