So instead of wiring into my ingetion system i can basically just install a relay between the battery and a switch hooked up to some spark plugs grounded and be driving click a button and shoot flame. Sounds easier to me let me know if this wouldn't work.

If you do this could you run me by step by step or explain it to me? I’m new with electrical and too scared to touch my ignition wire this sounds much more reliable and safer
@@Atorre554 basically follow the instructions hotlicks provide but instead of cutting ignition, you’re only using two wires that plug to the module and the power source will be plugged towards your positive side on the battery
No it won’t work. Reason being switch to the ignition coil cuts off the engine sending gas into the exhaust. Without the excess exhaust (unless u r running a really rich tune) nothing will happen.
You have to kill thr ignition

I really really want to try this on a 5th gen Camaro with a HOOD EXIT EXHAUST LOL. Do you think it would work? Do you think it would be safe? I would probably only turn on the kit when in park because while driving the flame would come towards the windowshield and probably end up messing up paint and staining windshield
Yes it will work!
It should work if installed properly!
Camaros aren’t rollin coal per say so I feel like the paint and windshield would be effected years later

Does it throw you in a temporary limp mode after shooting flames? If so, any way around it? Also do you have your mufflers deleted?
If you hold the button to long yes, but if you use it as instructed it will work. And yes I have a cat delete and a muffler delete

@@White_Fox_5.0 pretty sure it’s because cats restrict the air that comes out so if you don’t have cats all of the extra gas and air comes out to be ignited but if you have cats all the excess gas will be filtered out leaving nothing to spark
I’m trying to install one on my 2013 charger se but the only fuse I see is 33 and says ignition switch / wireless module . You should make a video on the camaro

Hey bro, when pressing the button, you just rev it over 4500 while holding and let it decel? And just keep revving it and holding it for the flames? Or you have to hit redline?
rev then decell press the button
Anything above 3500 rpm’s and also depends what you drive. It all matters how much gas goes into your exhaust

Any tips for where to run the wires on the convertible version of an 06 Mustang GT? No folding back seats unfortunately, and I don’t want to try to cut/drill around any parts of the convertible roof

i have a n2mb 2 step in the car too! i wired a seperate button to ignite the sparkplug without cutting ignition so i can use it while using the 2step

I have watched some other videos of small engine cars like that one for example look up "hood exhaust spits flames". and they don't spit as big flames or as often but if you're trying to get that impressive effect and wondering if it will work at all. It will work lol. and if you get a retard timing box (2 step) to dump even more fuel into the exhuast and straight pipe it (that is a must) it should spit bigger flames

I have a question to ask. I have Ford Mustang 2011 V6 3.7L Auto. But I was told to delete cats. Actually I didn't understand what it means. What I see in your video, does not show you removing the cats. Could you explain about this part? what if i didn't delete it. Will it work??

Catalytic converter it's on your exaust you will have 2 if I'm not wrong and if you run this system with your cats (Catalytic converter) you'll just blow then up or they will restrict the fuel to the point you won't have flames.
Just saying cat delete in alot of areas might be considered illegal would be smart to buy a 2011 v6 mustang test pipe or if you want it permanent and it's legal wherever you are go to an exaust shop ask for them to do a cat delete

hey man i have a 2006 v6 mustang and my fuse box wiring is different do you think you can help me because I installed mine and i'm not getting no spark but when i touched the spark plug it shocked me
check the relays, make sure you’re get the 12 V, flip them and test it out
The best bet it to call the hotlicks guy, but your spark plug should grounded tk your exhaust to work

no, the hotlicks only gives you afterburner flames, if you want pops you have to get a 2 step

He splice the 2 red from the 2 module into 1 then run that 1 wire to the front switch

@@daevincaldwell3201 contact the company that makes your tuner. Your tuner is tied into your ecu which controls your fuel, timing and ignition. This does the same bypassing the CPU. Your tuner isn't going to know what's going on when ignition starts violently dumping fuel and cutting. These are cool on hot rods at car shows but lame on anything else. If you want to shoot flames from a car it's not too hard with fbo exhaust, downpipe if you have a turbo and a tuner that allows fuel management and 2 step. Go on a forum for your car, someone probably has a 2 step map they'd share. It's also very bad to constantly do because of detonation but a few times won't hurt. Same with a burble map, not good in the long run no matter what some guy selling burble maps says. Subaru shops love them because how much money they make resurfacing your heads and cutting new valve seats after a year.

Contact hotlicks theyll tell you which wire it is. I had the same problem couldn’t find a diagram until I contacted hotlicks. They sent me a picture and i wired it up. I have a 2015 gt
