just a tip if you go to alton towers and it’s raining for over an hour if you go to the front desk they give you free tickets
This is very good info, however it should be noted this is only for tickets bought on the day and not online tickets or multiple day tickets.
I could be wrong and would happily be corrected
i bought tickets online and they gave me the amount of tickets i order back so i order three and they gave me three back
@@cameronanderson5987 ahh great stuff never knew this 👍
@@2112c hope this helped
That front desk is commonly known as Guest Services (#1 Towers Street)
Yes avoid Saturdays and Sunday or any school holidays. That is why I am glad that I work shifts. Going on a cold Tuesday and you can walk on rides like the place is shut hahaha
Cool
Avoid weekdays that are close to the end of the school years because of school trips that happen there xx
Always found if you go on a Tuesday just after kids have gone back to school in September is quiet. No kids, and the weather is usually still ok. 😊
100% the best time to go!
3rd week in may is by far the best week to visit, 15-19 may. Just before the start of Mardi Gras. That’s when I have got 4 days booked in. The park is just empty,
5-10 wait for every ride, hotels quiet, pool empty,
I go every August and it’s a good time to go. I agree that October is aswell because I go a lot then too. It’s sad because my birthday is in winter.
Tips for everyone else, advoid the days where I'm there 😅
😂😂😂
Actually I’ve gotten shorter queues on coasters last year in august compared to May, for eg. I waited 40 mins for the smiler in May but in august I waited 20 mins and 10 mins since I would disagree that summer is the busiest time of the year and swap with October/Scarefest as the queue was 1+ hour for the smiler, btw queues were with RAP Pass
I always go in August, I’ll keep this in mind!
I was you 1k like
Nope, don't know how to avoid Alton Towers, it keeps pulling me back in! ❤
End of year
Weekends and school holidays. You're welcome.
Am going in 2 days am exited❤
Have fun!
@@attractionsbeyondI just went today and got a runaway mine train suvenir it's so fun that ride
I just got back yesterday from alton
Just Saturday every week, every year
Great video again kiaran
Thank you!
haven't been since the nemesis opened when i was about 10 back in the 90s haha, i remember that accident where the girl lost her leg and decided I've been on enough rides there now lol
Going late spring is good because everyone goes in summer lol
I'm going in September! I'm so excited!!
Is it normal to be scared of the smiler at first lol?😂
Definitely! It's a scary ride!
I mean 14 loops is by no means a walk in the park, so likely
No cap , last year i went on a Sunday easter holidays and it was 25 min queues
Oh I'm going in the school summer holidays this year
Will still have a great time! Just a little busier!
EG. 13 (for rain
Even if I go in summer months, I can still get lots in because I have the Ride Access Pass.
But you still have to follow your time sheet if you're using just the RAP queues...
I went on a day when the park was open 10 till 4 but I got on every ride and wicker man twice and left at 3
Dammit my birthdays in August and that's when I might be going
I came july rainy day and i made it on 13 because the rain stopped
10-4 is absolutely criminal
Agreed!
10 - 4 is like winter daylight lmao
Avoid easter bank holiday weekend like the plague!! Full of travellers who want nothing but trouble and arguments.. police and security everywhere which isn’t good especially if you have young children
Nah when it was raining we got on every rollercoaster except nemesis because it was closed for construction
the best time to go is in mid-late september if you can get off school/work, it will be super quiet
10 to 4 is absolutely ridiculous
i go april and september
went only a few days ago, only managed to get on 1 ride that lasted 30 seconds...
I'd love to go here but any theme park for me is a big deal because I'm just over 3 hours away from Alton Towers! So the few times I've been to theme parks are very big deals
Ahh that's far! Hopefully you can visit sometime this year!
I went on 2nd June..
Last time I went was 2021 during a thunder storm. Didn't get on a single ride and they wouldn't reimburse me cause I stayed for four hours. Hexx got flooded while we were in it and everyone was seeking refuge in restaurants
I live 5 minutes away spent more time in there than school lol love the .place go towers in school trem time
Ahh amazing! Such a great theme park!
Yea it is very lucky be on its live on its door step can even watchfirworks from bedroom 😊 . Other parks always end up been a disappointment though 😞. We used get free tickets when I was kid 90s was fantastic
On the days it’s 10-4 it’s true it’s only open 6 hours however due to how quiet it is it’s actually more worth while it a bit like 20 min waits for 6 hours of the day allowing more rides than 80min waits for 10 hours
I just got fast passes as I hadn’t been in 10 or 11 years got on so many rides
I think you get limited rides so try to use them on busier queues
I went today and got stuck in the Galactica line for 2 hours when it was predicted one
Oh no! 😩
Me who went at the exact time he said NOT to go (it shut normal time I think I went yesterday)
I recommend not going on the weekends at scarefest because it is the busiest place ever. All the rides were double their eait time so 40min would be 80min. No matter what timw it would be the lonfest queue you experience giving you only 1-3 rides
I went on the 28th June it pissed it down
No events in July/August !? They are running a Summer Event lol
i was at Alton towers yesterday it was so much fun
Did you get fast track?
@@sashalasha7004 no we got i forgot what it was called now but we got something different
It’s August it’s gonna rain so not much ppl it even says and I’m gonna go tomorrow I’ve had.a wet summer hope it’s alright though
So as long as you avoid rainy days and sunny days you are laughing
But I don’t live in England and can only go there in the summer
Oh no! Still some reasons why summer is the best time to visit, the weather will most likely be on your side and nothing beats the vibe of a theme park in summer! 🌞
I’d go in march and April cause when I went I got on 13 or 15 rides d can’t remember
I favour mid week, middle of September. I got on 20 rides and the park was only open 10:00 - 16:00. The schools have gone back and there are very few if any coach parties or school trips.
Unfortunately I can’t visit because my parents won’t let me go to the location of Alton towers (I believe the UK) Becuase they said the Busch gardens is good enough. But imma try and go there one day. (I live like right next the Busch gardens)
0:33 Momo?
BRO IM GOING IN AUGUST
Have fun!
@@attractionsbeyond thx
I’m going in june
Have a great time!
me with skip queue pass
What is the best way to get offers etc for entry as me my partner and 2 kid would like to go but we won't go on most of the rides and it's over £270 for a day 😮
Definitely book in advance on the website! You can use the two for one vouchers but it'll probably work out around the same price as pre-booked tickets, if you visit parks & attractions often I would recommend a Merlin Annual Pass, it starts from £10 a month and gets you into all Merlin owned parks (including Alton Towers) all year round!
But if you're just making a one off visit, definitely booking in advance will save you the most money! Also, not sure how old your kids are but if they're under 5 then it's worth checking this offer out!

Rainy day guarantee no longer applies, free re visit depends on ride availability.
I’m going tomoz😭
Hope you had a great day! 🎢
