Imo Smiler is my no.1 but wickerman definitely beats thirteen by a long mile

Call me biased but wicker man 100% deserves that top spot. The runic alphabet (which actually spells stuff!!), the overall theming, the giant wicker man, the ride itself. It’s a masterpiece and it’s clear a lot of work was put into it, which really paid off.

Going late august and I’ve only really been on hex and th13teen properly cause I’m scared of coasters , I’ve always skipped wickerman because of the intro story but this time I’m really gonna go !! (Hopefully 🤞)
goodluck!! personally i think wickerman is more laid back than thirteen but that’s just my opinion. have fun!
I’ve only been on Wickerman because I had a bad experience last year and was too scared to go on any other coasters, but I promise you it’s not that bad! I believe in youuuuuuuu! :)
Edit: the bad experience was not on Wickerman by the way it was another ride hahaa

Got to get back to Alton Towers this year, haven't been for years so will hopefully get to do the new and old ones. I admit never done Thirteen, Smiler and Wicker Man, but done the others so can't wait to get back.

I've always been of the opinion that wickerman is overrated. I went on a morning in 2018 and it was running slowly. In 2021 and 2022 I went on it at the end of the day and it was running fast. Without nemesis my number one, I would now consider it a top three ride at the park.
