Making A Lap Vise In The Woods, Condor Greenland Pattern Axe

- In this video I make a lap vise in the woods, using my axe, an awl, and some wedges. The lap vise, also called a third hand, is a tool that is used to hold a piece of wood in place while carving, commonly used when carving spoons. The axe I used is a 26" Condor greenland pattern I have had for 3 years. It is an amazing axe axe and I would highly recommend it.

Wasn't quite what I thought you were intending to make, but I really like the simplicity of the final product. It's nice to see something so useful smade so easily. This is a project that I can teach to my Scout Troop. Thank you for sharing this.
I'm glad you enjoyed the idea, and it makes me very happy that you will share the knowledge! Thanks!
