I only recently discovered the joys of Old Forester via 1920 and 1910 about 6 months ago. A few weeks ago I picked up the signature, and man, I love this bourbon. It is basically replacing EC Small Batch, WT 101, and ODG Bonded as my go-to "daily" drinker. I love the OF flavor profile with the banana element.
Couldn't agree with you more, fantastic bourbon and an alternative to both the 1910 and 1920 if you don't want to pay the price. Cheers and thanks for watching and commenting!
An absolute phenomenal bourbon hands down. I’ve had $100 bottles that didn’t stand close to this as we all have. I know the bourbon culture can get very knitty and picky but I can’t be swayed regarding this one and it’s an absolute delight, especially for a $55 handle. It’s a daily treat before the weekend for me! Great bourbon for an amazing price point compared to what I used to spend.
Hey Scott, I am really appreciating your reviews. Nice overall reviews with some history and back ground and you also keep them, as my wife says, "to the simple", meaning I can understand them! I also am liking your reviews of lower priced spirits as they are obtainable in most areas. I know they are certainly less exotic and eye catching than the rarer ones, but infinitely more practical for most of us. So many spirits, so little time!
Thanks buddy! Appreciate it. Yes, glad to do reviews of these "simple" bottles, always great pours and redaley available for the most part. Appreciate your support! As always thanks for watching.

It's similar to really anything and pulling flavors from whatever that item is. With whiskey it has a lot to do with the interaction the barrel plays with the whiskey in the barrel and where they are stored, whether it be in a hotter area or cooler area of the rickhouse. So many factors outside of just what the grains are in the Mashbill. The more you nose and taste, you'll start to pick some different things up. Cheers 🥃
