I haven't done night shift but I agree that it will affect your work life balance and social life. I don't have that experience but I heard fro coworkers that it messed up their sleep and social life. I also don't wanna do it but if I'm starting out and it will give me the experience, I'll probably do it for a year or two and find something else coz for me it won't be sustainable.

I use the google suite for my notes and I just prioritize what I have to do first and allot time on each tasks and also planning ahead

No it doesn't. It just grab the info using CDP
