"Solomon Burke & Gillian Welch - Valley Of Tears" (by the channel: It's Waldo (Walter Brinkman) --This song was the eleventh track on Gillian Welch and David Rawlings compilation album called "Boots No. 2: The Lost Songs; Vol. 1. This was a collection of songs recorded by the duo. (I read in an interview once that Welch had said, "Every now and then there'd be a reason; Buddy Miller called us up at one point. And he said, "He was making a record with Solomon Burke and wanted to see if we had any country-R&B songs. That's how Solomon Burke ended up singing "Valley Of Tears" with us.

Recovery Album was vulnerable AF and CRIMINALLY underrated 💯🔥🐐 I would love to see a reaction to "Believe" and "Walk on water....the video " from Eminem, few of my faves esp as it relates to his relationship with hip hop and his Stans/Fans 🔥🔥🔥 "Arose" made me cry my eyes out bc it's about his over dose 💯 If you haven't already reacted to those songs...that is 😊 I'll go look now.

One of his best to me ....used to be my hands down Goat but over the yrs just can't get into more than half his music, definitely lyrically wordplay schemes etc best but only has a few handful of songs will actually jam 2, this would be one
