For those of us who had been "riding with Em" from the start, this song completely hits harder than most of his songs. Because we were there to go through the controversies that ended up being pointless, the complete desire in "moral authority groups" trying to shut him down, and the legal issues playing out in the news. Hearing THIS beat with THIS attitude was really needed by the Em fanbase (Before they were known as Stans)
Nicely said. A lot of us grew up with Em on Em and the shit and controversy he received was enough to bury any artist. Lucky for us he ploughed thru it. But not without pain of addiction. His anger and frustration, grit and determination can be heard clearly. The way he can ride a beat ... his flow .... undeniably one of the greatest! This song and Cleanin Out My Closet are 2 of my all time favourites.
@@kazidolezal - Cleaning Out My Closet is perfect example of Em wearing his life experience on his sleeve and just telling you what he went through as a young child. And while it was done at a point in his career when people would take it the wrong way, he still did it. Not really for us, the fans. But because he needed to get those things off his chest and off his back. Which is why it is such a great song overall. It is simply honest truth-telling. He knows his mom was going to get flack over it, despite that not being the reason he put it out. He just needed to say things for his own mental stability, and it just happened that his mom got the blunt of it because most of the issues as child happened either because of her, or simply around her. Today, it still hits hard due to the truth in the lyrics and the structure of telling you what he grew up with. But also somewhat odd to hear because you know Em has matured both as an artist and a person. That "angry young man" over his childhood can still be there to use on a track.... but it is no longer one of his "burdens to carry in silence". Making his approach to the issue far more mature, as head with "Headlights".

So I ran across you guys cause I liked what you had to say about Eminem. Not all may have honestly known to much about his songs at first but are finally understanding why people love him so much. I’m from Detroit and I didn’t even like a ton of hip hop. I was a 90s kid and sure I liked some Eminem, wu tang , tribe called quest songs but I didn’t listen to hip hop all the time I didn’t start realizing how fucking talented Eminem was until I started understanding a little bit more about bars and his double meanings what he does differently than other rappers out there he is a lyricist lyricist lyricist true word smith. And there is sooo much more going on in every Eminem song then I ever caught. I really liked him cause his raw emotion he brought into songs and back in the 90s NO ONE ever talked about the shit he did the way he did plus I have love for my city. But ever since I caught this guy KNOX HILL s reaction to the song caterpillar he breaks things down really good I think he raps so he will point out what he does phonetically each verse and also not only the meaning of a verse sometimes There are multiple meanings. He knows a lot of other references to things that went right over my head. I will already say Caterpiller was one of my favs Royce Eminem songs just because he was on fire actually so was Royce and I watched and loved your reaction Video to it but after I watched his reaction amd picked up on tons of shit I missed I CANT STOP LISTENING TO ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN EM. He deserves to be up there with the GOAT!! I think that is the problem with a lot of his haters or people saying he fell off they are missing a ton of what he is saying. Sure alot of his later stuff is not as aggressive as old stuff but he has a style of his own. Or most stuff is not aggressive but he is super smart and I hope you watch it on that dudes channel to see how much thought went in to song from start to finish is UNBELIEVABLE from both Royce and em METHODICAL!

I will already say Caterpiller was one of my favs Royce Eminem songs just because he was on fire actually so was Royce and I watched and loved your reaction
Video to it but after I watched his reaction amd picked up on tons of shit I missed I CANT STOP LISTENING TO ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN EM.
Love this song, the flow is as good as any song out there...pure brilliance 👏👏
Watch all the GOATS in the reaction game ... Y'all right up there. Keep grinding boys. Love from Philly!!
This is why hes the goat. You heare it even 20 years later and he hits you like nothing else
This is actually one of my other favorite songs to Eminem ,lol ( I've been listening to this since I was about 16 lol, I know all the words. I was so stoked to watch you guys respond to this song as well xx)
Ah the original song that got me listening to hip hop I can point back to this exact track my cousin asked me to listen to the Eminem show on his CD player to see how I liked it. I loved the beat and the unfiltered aggression of Eminem from there I branched off into loving this genre
Sing for the moment is 🔥 The video shows old clips of Em at concerts from back in the day and it truly is some of Em’s story telling about his life❤️
One of the hardest songs from em fr, the beat, production work and all. Should have listened to the skit b4r it but it us what it is
That beat is dope af and Em rides it like a monster. Yet his vocals sifted for the hook without taking away the aggression. This shit is fuckin amazing. The Eminem Show was a life saving album for me when it was released.
In my opinion this is his hardest hitting underrated song. This coming from someone who has almost every song he has ever released.
This was always my fav em song wish he stayed more like this
This why we love old EM! He’s just unmatchable. Angry Em. I love his new stuff too.
Soldier goes super hard. One of the hardest songs ever made imo, Eminem just lets loose on it
YO FINALLY SOLDIER THANKS GUYS
6.05 yeah man this beat IS for him cause he made it, love your content bro keep going
my favorite EM song of all time and rabbit run is my shit too
He went off on this track , I still listen to this track damn near 20 years later
I was listening to this masterpiece on a CD player in my dorm room 22 years ago. I was 18 years old. Those days are awesome!
