I’ve played several 2-2.5 hour gigs with this in all humidities. Stays in tune and sounds great. Super light too. I just play clean the whole time. The output is a little low so after a while I added different pick ups, but everything else is stock. Mine is a 2016 I think. Ebony Fret board. I got mine in ‘17 for $250. I wouldn’t have been surprised if it was $450 as good as it sounds. Seriously amazing for the price. I considered locking tuners but these stay in tune so well and look cool so I left them.
Own three guitars.. and this one always get more use than all the others. Has a beefy tone I just keep gravitating towards and it's super fun to play on. I just installed a pick guard on it since the unfinished woods takes beating without one. I own the ash colored one. One amazing guitar for the price.

I'm seeing one on marketplace for $300 with Seymour Duncan JB pickups. Hope it's worth it
Well, new it's about $350. The Duncan pickups are about $100 a piece. If they wired them right it could be a good deal.

@@stevekonbass When I got mine used it had a great set up from previous owner, played like a dream, well its time for another set up on mine now

Someone mentioned it before but I never saw the show. I'll have to look it up.
Debating on this guitar-Ibanez RG6003FM or Schecter 430 C-6, or ESP LTD EC-10. I'm totally new to this and don't want to be discouraged, looking for easy play-ability to learn on. I know asking which is better is like, well you know...
Best thing I can tell you Dave is find a Guitar Center and see what feels good to you. For me, the Ibanez feels great. I also like the Schecter models. Good luck on your musical journey!
