I think Hololive picked up on something in the West that a lot of people miss. People in the West tend to LOVE to theorize about things. Western gaming companies tend to notice this (I mean look at the ARGs, FNaF, and other such games), but I don't think I've seen many Asian companies doing this. But Hololive seems to have decided to start using it.

For those who don’t know who Laur is (the artist credited for the soundtrack for whatever this is), he is mostly known for his high energy music that have appeared in various rhythm games like Arcaea, Sound Voltex, Cytus II, Ongeki, maimai and Chunithm. He’s also from similar backgrounds as Camellia, the guy who did the image soundtracks for Holo EN and IRyS’ intro music.
Seeing as his songs are rather attention grabbing, I’m assuming the soundtrack for whatever this is will be somewhat attention grabbing as well. Although, who knows. He might surprise us with something more laid back. Either way, Laur’s involvement has increased my interest in this tenfold.

Assumptions so far:
1. Even though IRyS voiced it, it's probably not IRyS-specific (e.g. lore or an album) because it would probably have been directly on her channel rather than Hololive English.
2. There seems to be a running theme of the number four. Four concepts that follow Hope: Space, Nature, Time, Knowledge. Four robed figures (presumably the gods mentioned). And several rectangular prisms and 4-sided pyramids.
3. If it's new members, they're probably not going to be in ProjectHOPE with IRyS for three reasons:
3a) The two week gap between the launch of IRyS and the announcement of four genmates would put what are supposed to be peers on too much of an uneven keel from the start, making IRyS something of a defacto "leader" of ProjectHOPE.
3b) Hope is very fundamentally tied to IRyS' character, being that she is supposed to be an embodiment of hope and her age canonically is "as long as hope has been alive in your heart". If they had intended ProjectHOPE to be a multi-member unit, they would have probably chosen a more universal name for the group.
3c) ProjectHOPE is often compared to the JP branch's INoNaKa Music. My understanding is that these branches take a lot of resources just to sustain one vSinger like AZKi, which is why Suisei is no longer part of INNK. Likewise, they probably won't want to rapidly inflate the EN branch's equivalent.
So what do these mean? The best speculation I've seen so far is EN Gen 2 (probably codenamed Hololive Concept) with four members representing the four concepts we see here. But how do we extrapolate these reasonably abstract concepts into characters? Speculation time (feel free to join in)!
1. Space - No, we're not talking galactic space. Besides, ID already has a resident alien. In this context, we mean space as the existence of things yet also "nothing but textures and principles". So the abstract embodiment of material without form that could also be a cute/charismatic anime character. My guess would be something like a slime or mimic type of entity. Alternatively, we can take this space theme to be "one who can traverse space" like a teleporter or wormhole user (thinking something like Yukari Yakumo).
2. Nature - hopefully this one is more straightforward than the rest. I'm thinking either a mother earth type character or some sort of dryad or other type of nature spirit.
3. Time - So we already have Ame's backstory as a time traveler, so they probably won't reuse the same character design space in back-to-back generations. My initial thoughts drift to a sort of Chronos/Father Time type of figure. I think I recall them stating that the EN Gen 2 auditions were open to anyone regardless of gender, so maybe this might be a male member?
4. Knowledge - Several fun possibilities here. The first that springs to mind is a contemporary mad scientist. This video mentions that Knowledge was the last concept the gods bestowed upon the universe after the creatures that inhabited it had already advanced to a certain point and desired power, so this one could be more modern than the others in this generation. Another possible route is a self-aware AI, but that might get too close to Roboco's design space. Alternatively, we can keep it simple and go for a teacher or librarian of sorts.

The only one of those that wouldn't have to be shoehorned into the role is Time for Ame. Space, Nature, and Power don't really fit any of them closely or fit too many of them to be a clear representation.

@@kaleria608 Space and the Void are linked to the cosmic Lovecraftian themes that match with Ina's designs. Atlantis as the civilization that sank into the ocean is typically associated with themes of fighting on the side of nature in fiction, especially with themes of preserving the oceans all link to Gura. Power in the form of knowledge that leads to the emergence of civilization is classically represented in the flame given to man by Prometheus which matches to Kiara's theme as a Phoenix.
If you're looking for HoloLive expanding their mythology, this VERY much syncs with all four of their themes, and I don't think that's shoehorning anything for them at all.
Was somewhat confused, but considering this is a prelude that had Irys voice, I think this could allude to a Holo EN gen 2 maybe with this whole preview and Irys voice hinting or implying it to announce that potentially. Speculations and speculations indeed.
Gen II lets go!
The terms 'the gods', 'concepts', 'space', 'nature', 'time' and 'civilization' were all in quotation marks in the captions. So if it is Gen 2, they'll be the five gods(or angels/demigods?) of those different things.
The alternative is that since this is IRyS talking, and a prelude is a musical term for music that comes before a larger musical piece, it might also mean yet another IRyS EP, with possibly 5-6 new original songs (one for each term in quotations).
I'm personally leaning more towards it being a new IRyS ep, but I definitely wouldn't be upset if it's gen 2!

From what i understand :
The Cube are "Concepts". The reason why the Concepts appears as Cubes is because "Concepts" are the building blocks, the foundation of everything. Hence the Cube and the stacking Cubes at the beginning.
As for the creation of "Space", it can be seen that "Space" was created inside the Cube, or "Concepts". The reason why it's called as "nothing but textures and principles. Nothing more than disorder." is because "Space" was the first and the only thing that exist inside the Cube.
"Thus, "The Gods" created "Nature" to bind together the textures". It can be seen that "Nature" was created around "Space", but it is still inside the Cube.
"Alas, "Nature" was merely but an existence." The reason it was called as "merely an existence" is because without "Time" , "Nature" can't grow, hence it will merely be always the way it was when first created by "The Gods".
After "The Gods" poured "Time, lifeforms, or "Nature" achieved evolution.
That's pretty much what i understand about this prelude.
It could also have a bit to do with the Mysterium Cosmographicum, if you know anything about that, and the Sacred Geometry. It's an Ancient Greek theory relating to elements, and how those were the foundation of the universe and everything in it, and each shape was its own element. I suspect that to be the inspiration at least, even if not directly connected.

That would be very cool, I do see one problem with that though. The number 4 is a recurring thing throughout this whole video, considering there are currently 5 EN members (not counting IRyS who voiced the video) I find it hard to believe they would do something like that.
But don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say your idea is dumb, or that its not going to happen, I really really love this idea and I think it would be really cool if they did it.

I just love how The Hololive JP Channel is full of shitposts and idols stuffs while the Hololive EN Channel is full of Lore, dark moments and serious stuffs!
JP side's lore seem to be more flexible and varied, (from Circus master Fox to whatever Haatochama is), EN side seem to be more narrowed and focused
i wish en could be a little lighter themed at times like the jp counterparts
