The way they sing is not a harmony at all (Harmony in music theory). It sounds good anyway. Sound engineer made great job.
I hope she get her own group like FBK w Holo Gamers. Though she really get along w the girls, being the odd girl out may be weighing in her mind.
I like how IRyS gets a spot with both Myth and Council. Myth made it so she could collab with people before her month was up, since she was a solo debut. Council more or less see her as part of them since they first joined up about the same time as each other.

I think she does rarely choose Japanese songs for her setlist, but every time I watch Ame's karaoke streams, she almost always ends it with Ookami Blues. I'm not sure if she still does it these days, after the recent rule changes to unarchived karaoke streams. And I also missed her karaoke stream for the New Year's, so I have no idea how it goes these days.

I totally agree with you on how much she's improved in singing but I take every opportunity to point out how much of a trend setter she is. She started the whole legs on the table thing, and both VShojo and NijiEN did VRChat streams for Christmas. I can only name one other individual vtuber that has had a bigger impact on the industry.
They all definitely got a lot of pronounciation practice for this one, you can tell from members who usually bring a heavy accent like Kronii and Calli.
Mumei part hits different... sounds like a different person while singing, really good.

I like the lyrics for the myth, they put on Kiara and Calli the difficult and fast ones while Ame get the more easier to not overwork her and it's fit nicely

Mumei and Fauna's part was just different. You can easily see their own voice style in this. Everyone also have their voice styles but theirs are just very obvious in this one. I really like it.

She was one of my favourite members of hololive it was a sad day when she departed from the hololive group especially as her streams helped me through more than a few rough times in my life but I will admit that every streamer and vtuber is amazing in their own individual ways and all have great future potentials in my opinion

Edit: Now that they all here which ochame kinou is your favorite? Mine is holoID gen 2, I might be biased because there is reine in it, but the animation of head sway followed with the torso movement is superb and cute and also the vocalization part where they edit their voice to sound like vocaloid.

I didn't see a lot of bounce except for her ribbon. That's not even a joke, I thought they turned off or toned it down because they'd be head-bobbing a lot.
I mean how else would they put IRyS in? By herself? It's easiest to keep it balanced by just grouping her with both Myth & Council.

I honestly think that Fauna's singing voice is underrated. She lacks a bit of self-confidence when she sings, but she has some potential. My 2 favourite parts were Bae's and Mumei's. And Gura's cuteness is just... the thing that makes it all even better.

Compared with her first karaoke, she has definitely improved! Voice lessons definitely paying off.
Fauna feels like she still hasn't found exactly how to sing with her voice. I was legit shocked when I first heared her sing cause of how I expected her to be alot better with her voice. I'm pretty sure she has so much potential yet to be discovered.
Fauna should try experiment singing lullaby or ballad with her voice.

@@r3b0x91 I unironically snagged that one using a bit of... magic, because it wasn't the worst cover of it I've ever heard. Though seriously, they should've done a bit more prep work with it and it'd have been glorious.
I still can't get over Kiara's Austrian accent trying to sing a song meant for a U.S. Southern accent. Kinda similar with Ina's Korean one, but it isn't as heavy as Kiara's.
I love how Irys appears the most because she is a solo and thus just helps make easy 6x6 sections with the two 5 sets :P
And it's not just about standing in as filler. IRyS genuinely fits in with both Myth and Council.
IRyS: The only one who is simultaneously senpai and kouhai among HoloEN.

I love how each girl has their own quirks during the song. Gura winking at "same", Ina closing her eyes for a bit longer than everyone else, Kronii's 'bounciness', and how Dad's constant eye shifting slightly made its way through to here lmao. I'm sure there's more since I don't tune in to all the girls. However, they do feel very distinctively themselves during this song, even for the one's I don't often watch.
It's a great callback to everything that has happened this year. The good, the bad (mostly good tho). It's been a blast seeing everyone learn and grow.

Partially I think it has to do with the studio mic and professional mixing, but I also just think she did a really good job matching the style. Her vocals aren't touched up at all (at least that I can tell) so props to her. She still sounds like mumei though.

Other than how cute the MV is, and how great everyone sounds, one of the things that stands out to me here is...DAMN Keffiy is an ABSURDLY good rigger. Kiara and Kronii's movements are so fluid and smooth (and bouncy, yes) compared to the other girls it's surreal.

I don't normally write comments, only popping into live chat occasionally, but I feel like I have to comment just this once. When I heard the announcement for this video on Calli's stream, I was already super excited since I'd listened to the JP girl's version countless times on loop. This cover turned out way more amazing than I had anticipated in the two hours I had to prepare.
When the various clips of old streams started to pop up on screen, I felt my heart flutter. I don't think I really understood just how big of a part Hololive has played in my life this past year and a half. The days just kind of fly by now.
I've honestly never really cared for holidays, but with all the fun events Hololive brings throughout them, I just can't help but feel excitement now. It isn't an overstatement to say that this was the best possible way to end the year.
For me, Hololive was what made 2021 so special, and I expect an even more special year in 2022. No pressure. I wish the best of luck to everyone in Hololive. I'll be cheering you all on from here!
