    Recipe:
**Brewer Position**: Standard**Dose**: 18g**Water**: Filtered or Spring Water, 220g at 200°F (93°C)**Filter**: Paper filter**Grinder**: Setting 2 on Fellow Ode Grinder (fine-medium fine)**Time**: 2 minutes steeping / 2:30 total brew time
    1. Bring water to 200 degrees
    2. Place a paper filter in the screen cap and lock it into the AeroPress. Place it on top of the cup and rinse with 1-2 oz of hot water to preheat. Pour out the water from the cup in the sink.
    3. Place the coffee in the bottom of the AeroPress and shake to level off.
    4. Start the timer and pour 220 grams of water to cover the coffee.
    5. After pouring, use the stir stick to mix the slurry 5 times back and forth.
    6. Place the plunger in at an angle and slightly lift up to level it and create an airlock.
    7. Let it steep until the 2:00 minute mark.
    8. Slowly press the plunger down until you hear a hissing sound. This should take about 30 seconds.
    9. Mix the coffee and enjoy!
Cleaning tip: Without removing the plunger, twist the screen cap off and set it to the side. The coffee and filter should still be inside stuck to the bottom of the plunger. Hold the AeroPress over a trash can. With solid force, quickly push the top of the plunger through to the bottom of the AeroPress. This should cause the coffee and filter to pop into the trash. Disassemble and rinse!

Do you have a grind setting recommendation for Baratza Encore with this recipe?

If you measure out more than 18g of coffee but only use 18g in the AeroPress, what do you do with the extra coffee grounds?
The tab you flick on the Fellow Ode should ensure you don't lose any coffee in the grinder.
With my grinder, I'd measure out 18g of coffee beans and grind it. Before I add the grounds to my AeroPress I would zero out the scale, add the coffee grounds and confirm I got the whole 18g back from my grinder. If I got less than 18g, I'd be looking for a new grinder.

You really came to nit-pick everything but the actual recipe she gave for the aeropress?🤡

@@justinloring6571 I came to learn about how others make coffee. However, as a professional, I would expect her to not recommend wasting coffee. Especially when the grinder she is using and sells has the ability to not require "extra" coffee to be ground.

You measure the coffee and water in grams but you measure water temperature in fahrenheit and the final result in ounces? 🤣
