Seen it and -heard it! Once heard, not forgotten. Loud! Love that HM applied the same quality to these as to the fighter types. The finish is beautiful. This aircraft looks so right too!

Hey...Luke "Field", now Luke Air Force Base, sort of local, 60-miles from me. They now train F-35 and F-16 pilots there. What a coincidence that you mention how late South Africa used their Harvards for training. Just a few days ago I watched a video from Pilot_obet, who is a 747 Senior Training Captain for Cathay Pacific, and he was interviewing Captain Steefan V.W., and Captain Steefan's first solo flight was in a South African Air Force Harvard. Pretty cool stuff we learn from watching model review videos. 🤠👍

Oh wow, you must hear some action pretty frequently as they fly around the area. I well imagine a lot of pilots sat behind the controls of one of these back in the day!! Try not to learn too much from me,haha. I am not that smart, haha. Thanks as always for watching the video!! 😁👍

@@heavymetaldiecast Whenever I go out to my preferred train watching spot out in the desert SW of Phoenix, I will always see and hear the F-35's and F-16's as they commute between the base and the Barry M. Goldwater Ranger where they practice shooting and probably missile shots too. Almost never do I see or hear Air Force action where I live. But, the Commemorative Air Force planes out of Falcon Field, another WWII training field now local airport, do fly around my house regularly. I get to see a B-25 "Maid In The Shade" and a B-17 "Sentimental Journey" every few weeks in the wintertime. They even had a Spanish built Heinkel He 111 based out of there, until it crashed in 2003.

@@espeescotty Ah man, just rub it all in to this aircraft deprived Aussie!!! haha how cool would it be to see and hear those old WW2 warbirds cruising along!! Even a Heinkel goddam, wonder if it was an ex Battle of Britain movie one!! Bummer it crashed, was it a bad crash? Hopefully it was repairable at least!!!
