Many TED talks are highly educational. David Meltzer's talk provides simple, life changing practices that can only lead to a better world, internally and externally. We already know that Empathy + Credibility = Trust in the external world. David provides answers to align the internal world to our authentic self, our birth right and our deepest desires.
I am grateful for the smallest things especially after being diagnosed with MS which I think was prepared for by God because He prepared me by teaching me to be organized and caring for others even in the small ways I have been doing all my life starting by protecting my siblings from my dad's rage to feel empathy for others and be present ad ready to listen and understand others.
David Meltzer I went through a divorce and feeling down in the dumps, got demoted at work as home life was affecting work perfomance. All this had been happening for A few years. A friend just suggested meditation. I started with just listening on how to meditate. Then it moved to listening to Erchkatt Etolle (spelling). I received a call 2 weeks ago from a company asking to interview me. Wednesday is my last interview and I can say, just being grateful for the lessons I have had, the heartbreak. I also forgave my ex hubby. At my current job they are looking to promote me again after many years of trying to move back up. It All opened up when I started saying "Thank you". Blessings, love and light to you for this great video😊
David Meltzer I’m a big fan and read Connected to Goodness. The book is just as moving. What’s your best piece of advice for a 21 year old striving for success and goodness? The book lays out amazing pointers. I’m just trying to take in any advice I can. Thanks!
Thank you David. I appreciate your answering to comments here. I am also amazed that you are asking how you can be of help to the readers. Thank you thank you.
This is such a pure, beautiful talk. I am working on myself internally so that I can be happy with me. I feel that this is most important. Inner peace and contentment. David has reached that place and it is beautiful to witness. Thank you for getting there and for sharing your experience.
outstanding message. THANK YOU before my feet hit the floor in the morning, and THANK YOU during that delicious time as I'm falling to sleep. My new challenge>> how about a quick THANK YOU when I'm in the middle of yet another shirt storm of my own making, as a super effective way of breaking a pattern. GROWTH through GRATITUDE.
gratitude...yup.. I'm non-religious... but i probably say thank you Lord four or five times a day... Just for a little things... Like finding my keys... A beautiful weather day... a good job outcome... i'm trying to be more courteous driving...at age 79, it must be that i'm a slow learner...
We are our biggest obstacles, we are our journey, we are our guru's! This talk seems too simple to be true, but it is deeper than most anything you will find out there
I grew up in a family with no gratitude or empathy, and a lot of anger. I never knew my mother or father and still don't know my brother or sister. I don't miss them because they were total strangers.
This is a great talk. But the only problem I had with it was that he spends the first half of the talk giving too much autobiographical information. I can understand why. Speakers do this so they can set up the rest of the topic. But I think he could’ve spent more time talking about his main philosophical points that he was presenting. He flies quickly through his points of accountability, effective communication, empathy and gratitude. In the last part of the talk he gives a very wonderful visualization technique but he only spends one minute with it. Nonetheless he did cover some good points and tried to make them as practical as possible
In Judaism we thank and bless God all day long. I thank God every night for giving me the nice day. In the morning we thank God for returning our souls. So that we can bless and praise God all day long. Every food we will put in our mouth we say "blessed are you God." It is about baby steps moving forward adding all of these blessings.
Confused. Who do we say thank you to before bed and in the morning? An empty thank you to no one doesn't make sense. I think it is good if it can be implemented. Just imagining if everyone in America can practice being thankful and greatful it would be amazing!
Wonderful sir, you truly inspired me ! But what did you do in India ? Did you meet some Guru ? I wanted to hear that part of the story. Greetings from New York
Read the book : stress less and achieve more. That shall teach you one type of an important meditation. Meditations are so many types and not all of them will work with everybody so try a different type until you find the one
Why do you want to put the ball of light over your person/being? Im confused. You cant get rid of negativity and negativity doesn’t have a light. Ive lived in the darkness for so long, similar story to ed tolle guy. One day the light switch turned on too. But I didn’t even know I was living in the darkness for 20 plus years.
Nice! True. G.E.A.C.
Rarely have I seen COMMUNICATIONS thrown into this stew. Makes for a good meal. Thank you.
Wish I had caught this talk sooner. David Meltzer is a wonderful speaker with so much to say.
I really appreciate your kind words! Let me know how I can be of service to you

Thanks Carl!

I have been doing a Thank you/Grateful journal for the past 2 months, meditate daily. It has changed my life. I can't explain the abundance
Thank you for sharing - that is amazing to hear! Any specific stories you can share?

I am sorry that you had such an experience.

In other words he should've been a bit more empathetic with his speech on Empathy! Lol

It's just about the practice of gratitude
Awesome 👌❤️🙏
Your quote is not by David Meltzer. When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.
“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” - Dr. Wayne Dyer
I love this 👌👌👍👍👏👏🙌🙌
thanks man
thank you!!

Accountability? What about Responsibility? Same thing?

So if it is true that our mind, body and soul are one, does that mean when our body dies so does our soul?
Why does he constantly have. To mention that he is Jewish every other sentence?
It’s a subliminal message... he’s trying to control our minds brain wash level 1000000
This guy has an unconscious focus on material goods & money, still a great speech though
I appreciate your perspective
Read Deepak Chopra 🍀
The truth is a thught? really?
