I am newly fitted with these. Oh, my what a good thing! There are more features than this video shows. For example, the aids come with a little dual purpose tool called a SoundLync. It's about the size of a small Tootsie Roll. Holding it near the ear sounds one beep and the aid is turned off. Holding it back to the ear, you hear two beeps and the aid is turned back on. If the aid needs to be removed, the other end of the little tool has tiny grappling hooks. You gently insert it into your ear and twirl it until the hooks grab the little loop in the Lyric aid and then you easily pull it out. I had to do this when I dislodged my Lyric during my first night's sleep with it and it became uncomfortable. My audiologist replaced. Question for the Phonak people: Will airport security machines de-program the SoundLync? I understand flying with the Lyric aids in the ear canals is okay, but I wonder if security will ruin or de-program the SoundLync.
I was wondering if there are any plans to expand the sound quality to cover hearing loss across all frequency hz levels including the 0db to 10 db range. This would have a tremendous impact for the users. I started wearing the devices in January of 2022 and are having success but feel like there's still room for improvements with updates and upgrades.

@@phonak Thank you for replying. Do you mean no "problem" taking the SoundLync through?

How do you remove it and replace the battery?
You don't. It lasts for months, and then you go back to get a replacement. They are sold on a subscription basis
